Do not subject yourself or your family to the incompetent staff and haphazard services that this…read moredental practice provides. Ever since Dr. Tumillo left this practice, it has gone downhill. I went to the dentist for a cleaning and found out I had to get a root canal. The entire experience of the root canal was a disaster. In the middle of the first root canal appointment, the dentist (Dr. Gera) and dental assistant were arguing about what the next step in the procedure was. This was very worrisome considering I was in the chair completely helpless listening to them argue. Also, during the appointment, the dentist seemed so frazzled that he dropped my temporary crown, and it rolled into the hallway. This appointment caused me SO much pain. I had tears running down my face the entire appointment, but the dentist would not prescribe anything to help with pain or swelling. During the three week period until I could get my permanent crown, the temporary crown fell off even though I was abstaining from overly crunchy or chewy foods. I went to get the temp crown replaced, and the dental assistant haphazardly put it back on. It fell off within 5 minutes, and the dentist came in and correctly put the crown on. I went back and got the permanent crown put on which was another painful experience. Also, the crown was molded incorrectly so the dentist had to file it down resulting in some metal showing. It looked awful. It has been a little over a month, and I still cannot fully chew on that side of my mouth. I experience frequent pain where the crown is. I tried to send the practice an email with my concerns, and the email they have on their website is inactive! I could not believe it. This dental practice does not care about patient well-being or providing sufficient care. I plan to find a new dentist to help solve the consequences of the poor services that this practice provided. I refuse to return to this practice again and have already begun warning others of my experience.

Needless to say, I never paid them for their work. The insurance company turned down the charges because it was 'erroneously-coded' by ADC to begin with. Now they submitted the charge to collections and I am here writing a review about how terrible ADC really is. Long story short, I went to North Hunterdon Dental and they took care of the problem at half the cost ADC originally charged! My advice is stay away from this place and spare yourself and your family the aggravation! One star too many because they don't deserve any.

She explained everything clearly and made sure I always knew what to expect. Her front desk team is the best -- so patient, friendly, and always willing to help. They even went out of their way to help me when I messed up my cell phone and couldn't get zoom working . If you're thinking about Invisalign, definitely go see Dr. Zhu and her team. They make the whole process easy, comfortable, and actually fun!

I have been going to Hunterdon Family Dentist in Lebanon for several years. I never need any dental work done except for regular cleanings. The Hygienist, Jennifer is excellent. Recently I needed a crown replaced and I was completely dreading the process. I am pleased to report that I had the Crown replaced by Dr. Zhu and she was extraordinary. Not only was she kind and sympathetic to my fear and anxiety, but more importantly she did a remarkable job of replacing the Crown with no pain. Dr. Zhu is a very skilled and talented Dentist. The Crown is made in her office and she custom fits it into place. The result is a crown that looks and feels like it has always been there. I could not be happier with the result or the experience. If I ever need any additional work done, I will not hesitate to have Dr. Zhu take care of me. Not only is she a gifted Dentist but she is also genuinely a lovely human being.

I was very impressed by the amount of compassion and time he took in order to explain everything so that I made a better decision. The front office was very pleasant and upon me telling them that I had some discomfort they immediately scheduled me without giving me difficulties. They processed my paperwork online and made it a breeze. For the extraction they referred me to Warren oral surgery and I had a unpleasant experience with the front staff at Warren Oral surgery The staff at Oral surgery made it difficult for me to make an appointment and after the appointment I requested the doctor called me with some information and I never got a callback.

The nitrous oxide (laughing gas) made it a lot of fun I mean where else can you get a medically monitored high with no guilt (I'm just joking of course it was used on me for anxiety obviously)? The nitrous oxide AKA NO2 is $75option and they will try and put it through on your insurance. How could they charge so much you ask, because it feels awesome and everyone knows it (better than weed by far in my opinion), plus it makes a miserable procedure go from virtually unbearable to virtually unnoticeable. As far as the professionalism of the office they get top marks. With regards to the doctor that I saw whose name is escaping me right now, he's all business and really knows root canal. They're not just dentists their endodontist which is kind of like a dentist "on steroids" (I hate that expression, I couldn't think of anything better at the moment). Believe it or not the dentist that sent me there "didn't feel comfortable doing root canal it on the molars", I found that kind of strange because I went to a professional, a dentist(!). Apparently this is pretty normal and this is why Endodontists exist. In fact given the skill level I would say go to an endodontist for any root canal, period. The last time I had root canal it was by a regular dentist and you could tell with certain parts of it he was having some issues. So far the tooth is fine, roughly a year later, but you can definitely tell that the extra three years of schooling (fellowship) that the specialists/Endodontists go through teall

1### I had a very disappointing experience at this dental…read moreoffice. After completing the initial exams and cleaning, the dentist refused to continue treatment, stating that they felt "nervous" performing certain procedures. This left me confused and concerned about their level of professionalism and experience. I spoke with the office manager, Eily, who said she would follow up with me, but I never received a response. The dentist, Dr. Sagar S. Patel, came across as dismissive, and overall it felt like the office prioritized convenience over patient care. To make matters worse, the only treatment that was performed failed the same day, which further reduced my confidence in the quality of care provided. A week later, I visited another dental office where the dentist was professional, patient, and completed the treatment properly without any issues. The difference in care was very noticeable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this practice. ---------------------------------------- That's the answer back from the dentist office from. Bridgewater Family Dental (Owner) a week ago Thank you for your review. We take feedback seriously, but we strongly disagree with the claims made here. Clinical decisions in our office are based on professional judgment, patient safety, and established standards of care. When a provider determines they are not the appropriate clinician to proceed with a specific treatment, that decision reflects responsibility--not inexperience or unprofessionalism. Presenting it otherwise is misleading. We also do not accept the characterization of our team as rude or motivated by anything other than patient care. These statements do not reflect the standards we uphold or the experience of the vast majority of our patients Due to patient privacy regulations, we cannot discuss specific details of your visit in a public forum because you INTENTIONALLY left major key points out on what actually happened in your review. ___________________________________ and that's my response too the answer from the office. 2### Thank you for your response, Bridgewater Family Dental (Owner) To my review on google. It's embarrassing too answer back too my reviews with you answer. but anyway it does not address the actual concerns raised in my review. Labeling your decision as "clinical judgment" does not excuse the way this situation was handled. I was accepted as a patient, evaluated, and treated -- only to then be told the dentist felt "nervous" continuing. That is not a reassuring or professional explanation, and it raises legitimate concerns about competency and case handling. If patient safety were truly the priority, there should have been clear communication, a proper referral at the time, and timely follow-up. None of that happened. I was explicitly told I would receive a follow-up from your office manager, and that never occurred. Accusing me of "intentionally leaving out key details" is inappropriate and dismissive. I shared my experience as it happened. Attempting to discredit a patient rather than address the substance of the complaint reflects poorly on your practice. Most notably, another dentist was able to complete the same treatment without hesitation or complication shortly afterward. That contrast speaks for itself. Patients are entitled to professionalism, transparency, and accountability. Unfortunately, my experience with your office did not reflect those standards. ---------------------------------------- 3### Updating my review after completing my treatment at another dental office. The procedure that was declined at this office was completed without issue elsewhere, which raises serious concerns about how my case was handled here. My experience included being told the dentist felt "nervous" to proceed, a treatment that failed the same day, and no follow-up despite being told I would be contacted. These are factual events from my visit. The response from the office focused on disputing my experience rather than addressing these concerns, which reflects the same lack of accountability I encountered in person. After receiving care from a professional and capable dentist, the difference in communication, confidence, and overall quality was clear. Based on my full experience, I stand by my review and would not recommend this office. The last picture shown all my plan got done from the new professional beautiful dentist office I use . Good blessings all doctors Care about humans life. And I hope anybody work in this career just for making money and doesn't care about humans life get what deserve. Again it's shame, shame, shame for this office/ Bridgewater family dental. Located in Bridgewater New Jersey.
