I lost a filling and part of a tooth while eating dinner. This left a sizeable hole in my mouth, with jagged edges. I phoned Dr. Vu's practice and left a detailed voice message. His message said to contact him by email if the matter was urgent. I am 70 years old, with Parkinson's Disease. This hole in my mouth was nasty. I could not wait. I wrote to Dr. Vu at 10:30 (at night). I explained the situation. I received a reply at 10:45 (that same night). Dr. Vu worked some magic to squeeze me in at 9:30 the next morning. I could not believe my good fortune. I needed a crown. Dr. Vu prepared my tooth for a crown, made the crown (on site) and installed it all in the same session. It was really rather impressive. I was so grateful for the immediate attention and care. This experience was absolutely "Best Case" scenario. I could not have asked for anything more! I give this performance 5 Stars. I initially went in for a cleaning which went well and the staff was very friendly (no surprises here, I need to floss more). I also took X-Rays since I was a new patient and Dr. Rudin spent extra time walking me through some of the past work he could see that I had done, and more importantly, pointed out some areas of concern. He is a very friendly guy and loves to talk to the patients to make them feel more relaxed. The teeth cleaning is fast and efficient with no pain at all. He also helped me do a root canal which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The root canal procedure was very relaxing with no pain at all. I highly recommend Dr. Lam to any one that is afraid of pain or does not like pain at all. If you are nervous about a dentist then Dr. Lam is definitely the dentist for you.
