Husband and I bought tickets for the Southern Soul Festival June 7,2025... concert started at 1pm. We finally were able to park from the longest, barely moving traffic around 1:40. Walking a half a mile, finally got the circle of folks standing in non organized lines. Mind you, it is freaking 93 degrees and humid as hell. Lines were not moving, couldn't even determine a line, so we just stayed in what could be a line. Needless to say, we finally got in around 2:45! The check in was crazy, they checked the coolers for glass containers and it was the problem of the backup. Had someone just come out and let the crowd know to remove the glass items, it would have helped. Multiple people passing out in the lines and medics chant was constant. After this experience,most likely won't be returning. BUT I will say the performances were great, and I got to pop my fan! #803fresh read more

June 7, 2025 Wolfcreek amphitheater. There was no free parking so ppl need to stop saying there was. The event was completely unorganized. Not enough workers, the lines were chaotic & unorganized, no one directing traffic to get inside, I'm disabled and there was absolutely no access for ppl with disabilities, my BP rose 140/115, even though I drank lots of water, my body started cramping due to dehydration, ppl had to walk over a mile to get inside, charging ppl $20-$40 just to park is ridiculous, we stood outside in line over an hour in the heat, EMC was on deck thank God for that and they all were polite especially the EMC Gabriel whom was extremely attentive, caring and respectful. Oh & the EMC Meech too. He tried starting a drip for me however my veins were rolling and some couldn't be seen. Was given a DNA collagen drink for electrolytes. That stuff was nasty to taste but worked fast. Meech and a few others were caring and polite. Even though policy said no umbrellas. Ppl had them. They need to strike the no umbrella clause. It's needed in that heat. One lady was found unconscious near the woods. Overall the music was great but my experience was horrible there. Ppl keep your elderly parents home. This event was too hot for them to come. I saw an elderly lady with an oxygen tank (inside the cooling station with EMCs) like why you bring granny in this heat like that. She look very weak. I was afraid for her. It would have been easier if they were more organized. Should have had canopies and gates for lines separations, while ppl waited to get inside. At least the canopies would help block the sun while waiting to get inside. I will never go back unless they do better! read more

I attended a show on a Saturday and my overall experience was good. I was able to get a golf cart ride from the free parking lot to the gate. I thought outside food would be free but there is a $30 charge. They oversold this event and didn't have parking. We never made it into the venue and there was no one to explain why they weren't allowing people inside. Wolfcreek is the most unorganized venue I have ever been to. The lines were over an hour long. They did not have staff to direct the flow of separating the lawn seating, VIP seating and reserved seating, patrons. No easy access for ADA .. I saw a people struggling with walkers. They should have more shuttles, people were walking over a mile to get back. to their cars. I truly appreciate Mablehouse Amphitheater, being a covered venue with easy access in and out. The show was amazing but my mood was Leaving was truly a nightmare. They did not have enough police to direct the flow out of the venue, into the main streets. read more

I attended the Atlanta Funk Feat over the weekend and I was disappointed by the way the staff at the amphitheater handled the event. First, let's address the ADA accessibility. There was none. In the past, people with disabilities and who have a handicap tag, could park in the back lot behind the stage and go in through that gate and directly to their seats. They made these folks park or be dropped off and , walk up a big hill, and then sit or stand in 100 degree weather for over an hour and then find their way down a big hill to their seats. AWFUL! I actually think someone should look into suing them for violating the ADA laws. Next mismanagement issue was the LONG lines in the 100 degree heat. It took people HOURS to get inside and the staff was RUDE! One young woman with a bullhorn was going around yelling that even if you were elderly and had to take your cooler back to the car, you were going to have to get back in line. She was extremely rude and disrespectful. The bathrooms were also dirty and no one attended to them the whole event. Management or shall I say mismanagement is making what could be a great venue go straight down the toilet! read more

This was my first time attending a concert here. I honestly don't have any complaints. The big clue... ARRIVE EARLY. This venue has limited parking. The earlier you get there, the better your chances are. The show started at 5. We arrived at 3:30. The line had already started but there was a ton of parking left. We waited in line until they opened the gates. I had lawn seats. As long as you arrive early, you can get seats in a good viewing area. I enjoyed myself. The venue was easy to get to. I was here for Atlanta's funkfest on Sunday and was amazed at how big/small the place was. According to the map of the place it seemed much bigger but there was a lot of people there. The concert venue itself is wonderful as you can bring any food and beverage item as long as the cooler size is within limits. Concessions way overpriced, so bring your own stuff. Great venue, especially in the fall or after sunset! Either get there early or pay the $30 for premium parking! There are several different free lots but if you don't get in the free one closest to the venue it's about a mile walk to the overflow lot. Ticket prices are reasonable here and I like the fact there is security check at the gate (no weapons allowed). We came for a Funk Fest music concert. You're allowed to bring in a smaller 38oz cooler, lawn chairs, small blankets, alcohol and food of your choice. If not there are vendors that sell food there. I suggest bringing a wagon if you have a lot to carry. We packed food and bought a Jamaican plate for about $12-15 I think, which came with rice and beans, jerk chicken, cabbage, and plantains. I prefer the lawn seats, they're more relaxed and comfortable if you get a good spot. Plus you can vibe with your neighbors and sing along to your favorite songs. read more

This was our first time attending a show at this venue. After reading some of the reviews here and carefully perusing the FAQ section of the Wolf Creek Amphitheater we proceeded to our show (ATL Soul Life Fest) Background: again, this was our first show here. We purchased lawn tickets. As such, we arrived early, 4:30PM. Gates open (promptly) at 5:00PM. We wanted to arrive early so that we would get a good spot on the lawn. AND to park in one of the (free) main parking lots which are small for this venue. We got an excellent spot in the lot and on the lawn. Security got us in with no undo hassle. There were local vendors selling food and and drinks in the event you did not bring your own. But why would you do that when you are allowed to bring in a cooler full of food and drink. Facilities are top notch. The sound was excellent!! Yes, even on the lawn. And because the amphitheater is not in the middle of a residential neighborhood (cough, Chastain, cough) the show will not end abruptly at 11. And did I mention that parking is free. There are two gates to enter and exit. Again, early arrival ensures no issues. So recap time kiddies. To make your Wolf Creek experience enjoyable: -Get there early, preferably when the gates open two hours before showtime. Even if you have assigned seating the rows are wide enough to allow picnic set ups so come early, set up and kick back with your neighbors. -IF you want to be on time or even fashionably late you will be in parking in the farther gravel overflow lot. Be prepared to walk for a bit. -Did I mention the parking is free? -Mind the size of your coolers and tables. You will not be let in if it is too big. Consult the website on size requirements. -Umbrellas are ok. You will be asked to put them away when the show starts. All in all this is a welcomed addition to the southside. read more

I can't believe I live 10 minutes from this place and have never been to a budget-friendly concert before. I recently went to the Mystical and Guy concert. We had no problems with traffic or parking. We found a spot pretty easily on the lawn about an hour before showtime. The bathrooms were clean and I felt safe the entire time. I love any venue that allows me to bring in food and drink. Next time I'll get there even earlier for a little pre-gaming. read more

Amazing neighborhood venue to enjoy outside concerts. They offer a nice line-up of artists for music lovers of R&B, hip hop, jazz & more for all generations. The tickets are reasonable priced depending on your seat preference (lawn, reserved seats, and reserved tables & chairs). Also has ample seating for ADA needs. I prefer the reserved seats. All seats seem to offer a good view of the stage & they also have 2 screens & a good sound system. Food & drinks are available for sale or you can pack your own. I pack my own which makes it fun! Free parking & shuttles. The downside is the lack of a quality system to pick-up & drop-off folks after the concert. It was mad crazy for the Ledisi concert. The shuttle would not pick-up at the proper spot so folks at the back of the line would jump on & that was not fair. They only had 1 staff monitoring the line & she was very apologetic. Wolf Creek Amphitheater is now under new management. Live Nation needs to get a handle on things and fix them quickly. First, update the website with the correct information. According to a Live Nation employee the parking lot opens up at 12. However, according to Wolf Creek Amphitheater website gates open at least 1 hour before ticket time. What's the correct answer. Next, Live Nation you need to make sure all of your employees give the attendees the same information. I was given 3 different answers by three different employees for same question. We missed 2 artists because they refused to open a parking lot until the last min and an attendant told us it was decided a shuttle bus was not needed yet so we walked at least 2 miles carrying items and missing the show while busses are sitting refusing to take us anywhere. TRAFFIC, PARKING AND CASH!! I attended the Funk Fest concert last weekend 5/18 with my hubby and boy were we in for a treat!! Not the music, but the darn traffic and parking!! OMG!! First of all its only one way into the venue and the traffic on Camp Creek Pkwy was a beast... I think we stayed at the light, just to turn down Merk Rd. for an hour! I don't know who in the hell thought of this bright idea to have a venue with only one way in or out but they suck majorly!! Once we were finally near parking I'm thinking it would be multiple areas with varying prices, kinda like when you go to Chastain, Georgia Dome, or Phillips Arena... We roll up to the parking lot and the sign says $20!! Me and my husband could have ran into the back of the car in front of us.. REALLY??? $20 parking and its on dirt and rocks on top of this huge mountain top? HELL NAW! But what choice do you have?!? We finally park and head to the gates where there is an extensive search/pat down for anything you may be trying to bring into the venue... As we get through the gates we notice there's a stupid long line for the ATM machine!! THANK GOD we had cash on us cause there was no way we were standing in that line! Needless to say once inside, we did purchase food although I don't understand why for this concert we couldn't bring our own.. The venue itself is nice, but they gotta do better with traffic/crowd control!! Folks walking all over the parking lot when its time to leave and you can't even drive your car through. This is my second time at the Wolf Creek Amphitheater (both times were for the Atl Soul Life Festival) and I must say this location sets the bar for other outside entertainment locations I attend. Number one you really can't go wrong with any seat in the house. I have been on the lawn both times I have attended an event here. However I've always been able to see and hear the entertainment on the two big screens and on the stage. The sound crew here does an exceptional job and making sure that everything sounds Flawless and I have not been there any time where the sound was not on point. Again the view was really well the first time I was actually somewhat on the left hand side towards the back but I was able to see and hear everything well. This year I was located Center front on the line and everything was perfect. Parking can be tricky but you need to get there a little bit early in order to beat the traffic coming and going. I learnt this on my first trip and it proved to be the right thing on my second trip. Long story short I got to The Venue an hour and 30 minutes prior to the gates opening. Yes I had to sit and wait for the gates to open but I was able to park in front of the venue I was able to get a good seat on the lawn and then I was able to leave and beat a lot of the traffic afterwards. If you don't heed my advice please know that there is parking surrounded by loving you but you might be walking a mighty long ways from into your car. I also love that this venue does not "trip"on the items that you can bring or the amount of alcohol that you can have. As long as you abide by their rules they're on their website you should not have a problem. The ticket price for the line is also really great. I haven't had to break the bank to sit on the line which I think is the point. However I have been experiencing that people want you to pay $75-$100 to sit on the lawn. But this won't be the case what Wolf Creek and I appreciate that. Overall I really love coming to this venue and event and I will continue to do so as long as they keep producing really great events. read more

I attended an old school concert at Wolf Creek two weekends ago. I had a fabulous time. It was my first experience there and I was impressed. Positives: * New venue! - beautiful new venue * Allowed to bring in your own food and drinks. They also have plenty of vendors on site to buy items from as well. * Seating is spacious. We had seats right behind the seated tables. The seats were comfortable with a large amount of space (3-4 feet) before the seats in front of you. This was very helpful considering everyone had bags, picnic baskets, or small coolers in a space where people were walking to their seats. * Well lit. There is lighting on every walk way and in the parking lots. Negatives: * Parking - there are several parking lots but most are small. The larger one is accessed by a very long walk through the parking lot and down a two lane road without sidewalks. OR through paths in the woods. * Traffic - the amphitheater is off of Camp Creek Parkway, but the main road is a two lanes. Which caused extreme gridlock because everyone is going the same place with limited parking. read more

I had a great time here. I came to see a live performance with a pretty awesome line up. Slick Rick was there, Keith Sweat, Jon B, Mint Condition, and they all killed it! As for the venue itself, there was a ton of open space and the acoustics were ridiculous. I was all the way in the back but I could hear the instruments like I was in an indoor concert hall. Very impressed with the overall atmosphere. I was lucky enough to spend my time in one of the skyboxes in the back, which let me say made the experience that much sweeter. We were allowed to bring our own food and drinks into the venue, and we definitely got it poppin with the other groups hanging out in the VIP area. The next time they have good artists lined up you can expect the venue to do them justice. My only gripe was the parking. This show was completely packed, so I had to park a little far from where the actual stage was. But they did have shuttle buses from the parking lot to the entrance which kinda made up for that. read more

Went here for our first time to Anthony Hamilton and Tank on September 3. It is a very nice venue. The seating is good and there is plenty of staff to attend to the venue. My only complaint is their policy on backpacks which is why they are not receiving 5 stars. We were told we could not bring our backpack in but we saw backpacks when we got in. They say you can't bring a backpack in but you can bring in a tot bag...doesn't make much sense since everything has to be opened and checked. I would suggest they clarify the rule which would also help their staff from dealing with the challenges at the gate. read more

This place used to be a great alternative to Chastain Amphitheatre. It is horrible now. They nickle and dime for everything now. Several areas that used to be free parking are now prohibited. We were told that the close up lot is now designated for staff only, just to go all the way around, wait in a long line and end up back up front. We paid $25 to park in VIP (guaranteed). It is just really disorganized and signage is poor. The venue is still cool though. They need to do better eith the unhappy staff and officers. read more

Zero stars for the shameful and unbelievable Hansel&Gretel trek through the woods from the parking areas! 2014 not 1814? Also there was little lighting in the parking areas. How can you have a renovated facility and great acts and forget about the logistics????Folks and law enforcement were scarce post show where they were needed more. Traffic was a bear. If you want to keep the current conditions consider moving the events before dusk. Would love to see some of the future shows since the prices, talent and view are pluses. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE! Parking - free and ample. Didn't have any problem getting a space that was a reasonable walk. We got to the venue right at 6:20 and were seated by 6:30. Acts - came here for one of their summer series concerts. The price was reasonable and the acts put on a great show! The acts that played the night I was there - Midnight Starr, Brick, Rolls Royce, and Morris Day. Seating - My friend and I were in the reserved section, which was approx $68 PP (including all taxes and fees). The seats had a really good view - and if you're sitting in this section, no need to bring lawn chairs. Bring an umbrella during the summer just in case it rains. My favorite - they allow you to bring your own food and drink! Load up the crab legs and peel and eat shrimp! Bring a few bottles of your favorite wine! Bring that personal battery powered fan because it's hot in the summer. Will definitely be visiting Wolf Creek again! read more

Had a blast to be the first time here and it was a way to walk but it was worth the walk once you get in...it was well organize traffic with the cars an the vendors and even the seating...I was allowed to bring my own cooler drinks, food, lawn chairs and blankets just an all around good old fashioned time. The music the sound was awesome.. No bugs no issues no complaining. I had so much fun I booked the new tickets for next month..im ready to have fun again..I didnt get to enjoy the food because I bought my own but it looked good from what I saw and smell and the drinks some good also like a vendor was selling fresh lemonade with ciroc at the end of the concert...Oh lady's heels in grass looks like a struggle relax and enjoy yourself plus it's too many darn hills... read more

Venues like this are notorious for bad traffic. Trying to navigate hundreds of cars to one area is always a test of patience. And yes, if you are stuck parking in the overflow areas, the lighting and experience of walking back to your car at night is horrible. But the venue itself is wonderful. They may need to do some work on the bathrooms, I recently went to a reggae concert there and they had some issues with water running from the bathroom down a portion of the hill. But overall, it was a great experience; my 2nd a year with more to come. Bring a blanket or chairs, but leave the big umbrellas and tents at home. They also allow food and beverages (hint, BYOB) but not super-size coolers, grills, or tables. Listening to some tunes, under the stars in the nice ATL weather is as good as it gets. read more

I'm giving this place a 5 because of the cost of the tickets the free parking and beautification of the facility. The downside is the parking you must get there early because of the traffic and the walk from the parking area. My wife and I have been going here for the past 4 years and the crowd gets bigger every year. I enjoy the old school shows every year I've never had any problems with fighting or rudeness since most people are grown enough to enjoy themselves! This is a place the south side needed instead of having to drive to Chastain and pay 25 dollars to park and they kick you out at 11 on the dot. Attended the "Night of Classic R&B" concert on September 30, 2017. This was our first time going. I treated both of my younger sissy's to the event as a surprise birthday gift. El DeBarge, Stokely (from Mint Condition) and Stephanie Mills were the featured artist. We went to see El DeBarge but I like Stokely too. I was so glad I wore flats and carried my heels. Someone had told me it was a half mile walk from the parking lot to the seats and I thought they were exaggerating but Lord have mercy, they were not. I tried to warn my sissys what I was told but they wore their heels anyways and boy did they regret that. There are two parking lots. The first one is about a 8 minute walk to the seating area and the second parking lot is going to be the walk from ten buck two and will take about 15-25 minutes. So arrive early if you want the up close parking. My one sister had so much sweat pouring from head by the time we got to our table until I thought she was going to pass out, not to mention her feet were on fire....(lol) from us walking in the grass and unpaved parking lot on rocks. Not funny but I was sooooooooooooo happy for my flats because that walk from the Appalachian Mountains had me tired too but I did not break a sweat thank goodness. Here are some tips...... 1. Plenty of parking but wear flats for the walk. 2. We wore after 5 attire and we should have worn some nice jeans, nice top or a comfortable outfit. 3. You can bring your own food, drinks, snacks and goodies but if you're unsure, Wolfcreek's website provides more detailed information. Most people had big ice chest with wheels so we knew right away who were the frequent guest. 4. If you want to get great pics then you will need to purchse a table which is the VIP section which is the area at the stage. 5. Did not try or buy any of the food at the venue but Honey let me tell you, my stomach was grumpling so hard from how good that food was smelling. From what I hear, the food is the bomb, a little pricey but you get your money's worth. 6. Two big movie screens one on each side of the stage for fans to see the artist for those not sitting close to the stage. 7. This venue is only for outside concerts when the weather is nice. There is no valet parking and they do have disabled parking spaces. 8. If you've never been there before, you can YouTube Wolfcreek Amphitheater, Atlanta Georgia and watch some video footage. The venue itsself was well organized, plenty of security, ushers and staff whom were pleasant and helpful. The restrooms were clean as well as the overall upkeep of the venue. The seating is by numbers so you can leave your seat and no one will go sit in it. The night we went, the crowd was pumped, mature and everyone was engaged and having a great time. Good grown folk fun is what it was. I immensely enjoyed myself as well as my sissys and El DeBarge was awesome and did his thing and Stokely did his thing too. Both were humble and El engaged and interacted with the fans which is a major plus. El, actually touched hands, talked to the crowd and had fun with the crowd. Stephanie Mills came out, looked great and voice was beautiful but she had security go around and tell everyone to stop taking pictures and videos of her. Imagine the crowd being pumped and then being told that? Imagine the sound effect of the record playing then it scratches......that was us. El and Stokely very humble about their photos being taken so big thumbs to them and I would definitely pay to see those two again at Wolfcreek....but Stephanie, it's a wrap. Fans pay alot of money for these concerts and we love taking pics to capture the moments so not allowing us to do this is not cool :-( Big thumbs up to Wolfcreek and I would definitely go again. This was a great place. We were a little scared, knowing that it was in College Park. But, this is not in the College Park area that you hear about. Everything is new and it really feels like it is a completely different city. The venue was extremely easy to bring food and drink into, as the slope of the auditorium is not extreme like Chastain. The people were amazing and extremely friendly. Imagine chickfila level of friendliness. overall just a great place and will definitely go back again. read more

Went to see mint condition, blackstreet, toni tony tone 2 weeks ago. I agree with other posts you need to get there early for parking. Got there 10 minutes after the gates opened and was already crowded. They don't enforce all the rules they post online i.e. cooler size, table size, etc. I did appreciate security going around telling people to put down their umbrellas they were using to block shade b4 the show started. Better than Chastain for more lawn space and can bring your chairs. But people are rude and will sit right in front of you in the small space you left between you and the next person. read more

I enjoy this venue. It has plenty of restrooms, generally clean, lots of parking, however you could end up walking quite awhile depending on which lot you have park in. My girlfriend will not wear heels to those to this venue and the women who don't know end up in pain and or walking very slow. A fix would be to have transportation to and from the lots like at amusement parks. I do love the BYOB, however there should be a size limit on tables in the seated area. I was seated in the middle of the row and the people on each end had a big square table set up blocking the entry and exit. Only TV tables should be allowed in this section and they need to strictly enforce this or make people move out in the grass. I shouldn't have to contemplate going to the restroom because my aisle is blocked. I shouldn't have to climb over seats to a row that isn't blocked to get out. I will return maybe in 2016 but whoever performs will have to extremely good for me to return. I'll stick with the Mablehouse where the seats are covered. I also wish the box office was open during normal business hours during the week so you can purchase tickets without paying additional fees and not having to wait until the day of the concert to find out it's sold out when you get there with your coolers and food. read more
