I found starfit club and after reading their reviews I decided to give it a try. I was a little intimidated since I've never done a class like this before but I still wanted to at least give it a try. As soon as I walked in I was greeted at the door and I immediately noticed how clean it smelled- the place was spotless (still pretty impressed by it). The gym did a great job with having us clean up after ourselves and the trainer let me know they fully clean in between each class as well. The class itself was unlike any other class I've been to, from stat to finish I definitely got a great workout in. There were clearly people that were regulars and instead of being intimated I was motivated- phew! No one even noticed that I was new until after class when I mentioned it being my first class. My class trainer was Clarissa, she was so welcoming and made sure to help guide me through what I needed to do, without making it noticeable that I was a complete newbie. Thanks Clarissa and Star Fitclub, I can't wait to be back!

A friend referred us to this gym last year and we've been coming ever since. The gym is clean and the instructors are fantastic; motivating for all levels. Star fit is like a "better" version of an Orange Theory - session of weights, cardio (mix up of rowers, assault bikes, and treadmills). They mix up each session very well, so the class always seems to go by really quick! It's def my go to when I'm in NJ!

The heater motor burned out on Tuesday and NO repairs have been made and there is no information available regarding status. It is COLD in the gym. And with next week's forecast showing highs in the 20s, this is not sustainable. An indoor business like this should have HVAC issues resolved same day or, worse case, next day. We're on Day 4 and no workers anywhere. I plan to ask for a refund for any days where it is too cold to use the gym.

Running/jogging at 5.5 all of a sudden drops to 4 without notice. I had to grab on the side bars to avoid falling . I brought it to the attention of the front desk. They said they would email maintenance. A half hour latter I was surprised to see no warning sign on the tread mill.. Inquired as to why I was told they were waiting on the maintenance guy. I informed them that it was a safety issue and I didn't want to see anybody getting hurt. I had already warned another member of the issue. Their message seems to be let sleeping dogs lie. When safety is not a priority time to move on. Ignorance is bliss

The price, location, level of service, and flexibility made it the best fit. I get very frustrated when I don't pick something up quickly. Chris was very patient and made me laugh which was just what I needed to feel comfortable. I enjoyed the landscape, met interesting people on the boat, and saw a gorgeous sunset. So here we go - my pros and cons Pros - Friendly and welcoming owner Mel greeted me and chatted while we waited for the class to begin. He is a very nice man and even made me laugh a few times. Plus for not having that 'gym machismo' factor. Pro - This workout is intense - I'm pretty fit, but I got my butt handed to me so much so that the next day I went out and purchased a fitbit heart rate monitor so I can see how close to cardiac arrest I am should I ever go back. Pro - This is a total body workout - strength, cardio, balance, they hit all the zones. Pro - First three classes are free - that is very generous, most places offer your first class and then you're on your own. Cons - There was no stretch what so ever. The class ended and everyone just left. I was kinda left there looking around like "is this it?" Mel said I was more than welcome to stay and stretch if I like, but they dont do it. I felt kinda odd since other's were coming in and so I just left. Cons - I am a person who need a class card. I travel a lot and so I purchase class cards so that I can use them when I'm in the area. This is the type of place that you need to buy a membership. I don't live in the area, but would love to work out here if I'm working in this part of Jersey. Cons - I hate putting this down as a con, but here goes. When this class was taking place we were just told to which exercises to do, there was no demonstration. I know what almost all of the names of things are but even so, there were two or three things that I wasn't sure what they were and I had to look at my fellow exercisers to see what they were doing. It would have been good to see something demonstrated or to have received some correction and adjustment to prevent injury. I would be back if they sold class cards and used something like #MindBodyOnline so I could see their schedule and book classes - but that is only if they sold class cards. If you are very very new to working out, you may find this to be an intensely challenging class.

Rhonda was a great instructor and understood that none of us really have done yoga before. She explained as she went through the motions and showed us difference moves so we really could get a feel for yoga. Having 7 of us in the class was really nice because Rhonda could walk around and fix our poses if we were doing them incorrectly. Rhonda also provided mats and water bottles which made the 7:30am much more relaxing not having to get that stuff together. I visit Fenwick Island often and am excited to try their Boot Camp and other beach sessions. Thanks hipAHA; we had a blast.

I even convinced one of my friends to do the $30 for 30 days promo they had running. I love that they offer a few evening classes so if I'm running late, I can still make it to class. Or, if I'm done work early I can catch an earlier class. I can't seem to just get myself to the gym unless there's a class so I think this will be the best option for me right now. I took my first class tonight and boy was I dying! BUT ILL BE BACK! It was challenging but I really enjoyed it. I like that they have focus meetings and will keep on me on track for my goals. The staff was really nice and the gym was clean. Cons - only one bathroom and no lockers room to change in. No showers either but I get why. It's a quick 45 min workout. In and out. If anyone has done Orange Theory, this is basically the same concept but cheaper and I enjoyed this class more. I didn't feel pressured to look at my progress
