I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I received at the Life Time…read morePlymouth location on the evening of July 18th, 2026 at approximately 8:00 p.m. I brought two friends with me as my guests. Upon arriving, I was informed that the Plymouth location was not included in my membership and that, because it was after 6:00 p.m., my guest passes were no longer valid. My friend then offered to pay the guest fee of $50 each for himself and his father, but your front desk representative informed us that this was not allowed after 6:00 p.m. I fully understand that employees are required to enforce Life Time's policies, and I have no issue with the rules themselves. My concern is with the manner in which we were treated. The representative was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the interaction. Her tone of voice, attitude, and overall demeanor made us feel unwelcome from the moment we approached the desk. Good customer service requires treating members and guests with courtesy and respect, even when delivering disappointing news, and unfortunately that did not happen. As we were leaving, the representative used her radio to communicate with someone. I could not hear what she said, but as we were riding the elevator, a Life Time employee who appeared to be part of the security staff approached her and spoke with him, then pointed in our direction. This left the three of us confused and uncomfortable, especially since we had been respectful throughout the entire interaction and had not caused any disturbance. I did not catch the representative's name, but she was working the front desk at approximately 8:00 p.m. I respectfully ask that management review the security footage and, if available, the audio from our interaction so you can evaluate how the situation was handled. I hope management will investigate this matter thoroughly and take the appropriate action to ensure that members and their guests are treated with professionalism and respect in the future. Regrettably, this experience has left such a negative impression that I have decided to cancel my membership. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your response. Located in a CUB plaza. They have super sexy advertisements in their windows but on the inside it's just a small personal training type gym which has pretty good stuff but I prefer to go to the YMCA Because you are your own boss there, it is whatever you like, there's no contract, it's a little cheaper and there's a lot more people there as well. The machinery is way too close together, So you have to worry about being sweat on by the person next to you. Management needs to keep track of who is not wiping down equipment. And then they need to talk to them about wiping it down. It's always the sweatiest guys, too. I have never noticed management cleaning anything, and I feel like if the members aren't wiping machines down, and They aren't willing to confront them, they need to be following them and cleaning up after them.
