Upon arriving, I was informed that the Plymouth location was not included in my membership and that, because it was after 6:00 p.m., my guest passes were no longer valid. My friend then offered to pay the guest fee of $50 each for himself and his father, but your front desk representative informed us that this was not allowed after 6:00 p.m. I fully understand that employees are required to enforce Life Time's policies, and I have no issue with the rules themselves. My concern is with the manner in which we were treated. The representative was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the interaction. Her tone of voice, attitude, and overall demeanor made us feel unwelcome from the moment we approached the desk. Good customer service requires treating members and guests with courtesy and respect, even when delivering disappointing news, and unfortunately that did not happen. As we were leaving, the representative used her radio to communicate with someone. I could not hear what she said, but as we were riding the elevator, a Life Time employee who appeared to be part of the security staff approached her and spoke with him, then pointed in our direction. This left the three of us confused and uncomfortable, especially since we had been respectful throughout the entire interaction and had not caused any disturbance. I did not catch the representative's name, but she was working the front desk at approximately 8:00 p.m. I respectfully ask that management review the security footage and, if available, the audio from our interaction so you can evaluate how the situation was handled. I hope management will investigate this matter thoroughly and take the appropriate action to ensure that members and their guests are treated with professionalism and respect in the future. Regrettably, this experience has left such a negative impression that I have decided to cancel my membership. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your response. (The customer service is a black lady, possibly her name is Norma or something similar)

Parking is easy, which already sets it apart from most places in the area. The equipment is well-maintained, with plenty of machines and free weights so you're not waiting around. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help without being pushy. The locker rooms are spotless, with good showers and enough space, which makes getting in and out smooth. What I really appreciate is how family-friendly the whole place is. The kids' areas, classes, and pool setup make it a great option if you're trying to balance fitness and family time. It's hard to find a gym that truly gets both right -- but this one does. Overall, this YMCA is consistently reliable, clean, and well-run. Whether you're working out, taking classes, or bringing the kids, it's one of the best community gyms in the area. Highly recommend.

I love the sense of community at this location and, like I said, the extensive group fitness classes. One feature I really love about this location is Kid's Stuff! Caretakers can bring their children here for some childcare while they work out, take a shower, or generally have a break from childcare. The parking lot is great, it's an easy location to get to, the facilities are clean, the staff is inviting. I love the Y!
