Had to constantly keep on him to provide updated log book information and airplane details. When it was brought to his attention that the airplane was unairworthy we quickly had an annual scheduled and performed. Upon arrival for pre-purchase inspection discovered.. -Flat nose strut. -Inop NAV lights. -Dirty old air filter. -Spark plugs not cleaned. -Inoperable passenger inside door handle. -Greasy oily engine. -Expired registration. -No POH. Mark spent more time bragging about himself and his "thriving sales" than he did selling the airplane. KNOW THE AIRPLANE YOU ARE BUYING! AD's, STC's, service bulletins etc. Have an independent third party A&P or IA inspect your airplane if you can't do it yourself before you purchase, DO NOT rely on dealers mechanic or what he tells you.
