I can tell Mark tries his best to broker quality aircraft but for some of these planes that can be 70 years or even older, I really urge buyers to do their own due diligence. BUYER BEWARE! Do your homework on this guy and the airplane you are buying. Mark had an airplane listed for sale that was not airworthy. Had to constantly keep on him to provide updated log book information and airplane details. When it was brought to his attention that the airplane was unairworthy we quickly had an annual scheduled and performed. Upon arrival for pre-purchase inspection discovered.. -Flat nose strut. -Inop NAV lights. -Dirty old air filter. -Spark plugs not cleaned. -Inoperable passenger inside door handle. -Greasy oily engine. -Expired registration. -No POH. Mark spent more time bragging about himself and his "thriving sales" than he did selling the airplane. KNOW THE AIRPLANE YOU ARE BUYING! AD's, STC's, service bulletins etc. Have an independent third party A&P or IA inspect your airplane if you can't do it yourself before you purchase, DO NOT rely on dealers mechanic or what he tells you. I found a plane at a dealership online that I thought seemed great and at a very reasonable price. I spoke to the owner, Mark, several times over the phone. He was usually available to speak or he would email me quickly thereafter. Mark was extremely helpful so I went with my gut and bought a plane almost blind. Crazy, I know. But I read the logs and annual had just been done the month before. Pulled the trigger and Mark set me up with a solid guy to deliver the plane all the way to Texas. Everything was going well until a mechanical failure almost ended the flight halfway here, leaving me to stress out about what to do next. All I can say is that Mark is probably the most ethical and trustworthy salesman I've ever met. And we all know that salesmen don't become super rich by being ethical and trustworthy. Mark went out of his way to take care of the repairs and make sure the plane made it to its destination. Mark was already paid for the plane. He could have easily brushed me off and said "good luck, figure it out". He did not, he went above and beyond to make this a great buying experience that I don't regret one bit. I purchased a Mooney from Mark last January. I was brand new to the purchase process and decided to put a lot of trust in Mark and his Mechanic. My plan was to have a Pre buy done by Top gun in Stockton but Mark highly discouraged it saying they are way over the top and I will be looking at a $10,000 dollar repair bill from them. This was my big mistake in trusting Mark. His mechanic just did a pre buy for another buyer several weeks before, so I spent several hours on the phone with the guy discussing the pre buy. He recommended that I overhaul the prop, so I negotiated the price and decided to go ahead with the sale. I am now looking at a $26,000 annual to get this thing airworthy again. The mechanic missed a flap retraction issue, gear puck issues, and an AD that should have been complied with in his annual a year ago. Granted he could not have seen all the engine corrosion during the pre buy but he definitely pencil whipped the compressions during his annual. My recommendation is to be very thorough with your own hired mechanic on any pre buys from this place And AND make sure all legal docs are on the plane because he sure won't. To be fair, Mark and his wife are very pleasant and were easy to do business with. Just be very careful when buying here, my first ownership experience has been kind of a nightmare. read more

Beware of this company. Spoke with Kerry three times to arrange a test flight for a Cessna 180 they had posted for sale. Each time Kerry confirmed our appointment and the test flight. I drove 4 1/2 hours and when I arrived was told that we could not do a test flight. The expense and inconvenience of a nine hour round-trip drive was irritating enough. But what's worse is when someone tells you one thing and I goes back on their word, not once but three times says something about their character. If they are dishonest on something as simple as a test flight who knows what else they could be dishonest about. Don't really want to buy a plane from someone I can't trust. I know for me I only do business with people who are good for their word. Gets a one star only because I can't give negative stars. read more
