HOA includes lawn care with this company. They consistently do not cut the grass aroubd my condo. There is zero supervision of the crew that works. I literally watch each week and see the man that mows going back and forth over the same area, but does not go to the side of my condo and does not mow the back consistently. If Yelp allowed a ZERO rating as the lowest, I would give Wolfer that. They were, and still are, hired by our HOA and to my astonishment the HOA failed to add LIABILITY to their contract. For quite a while now, when the landscapers blow the grass off of the tiny areas of lawn and dblacktop around my car, specifically the right side, they also blow tiny pebbles or hard fragments. This caused significant paint damage to my car and is very noticeable since my car is red and now has tiny white paint chips all over. It looks like a red cheetah with white spots :( I called up their Main Office and explained the situation. The woman, who I should have gotten her name, told me someone would come out to see. She did not say when, but I asked her to have them to call me in advance. A day later, someone from Wolfer came without prior notice as requested. *** I showed him the damage and he was quick to say "IT WAS NOT THEM AND THE DAMAGE HAPPENED SOMEWHERE ELSE!" I admit It is my fault I did not save the proof via our Ring Doorbell, but, in hindsight, I did not think to do so because I did not know they were so DISHONEST and IMMORAL! *** He was very quick to leave and refused to give me his name, however he did say he was a manager. He was about average height, maybe 5'7" a little on the chunky side, very short dark hair, like a buzz cut, and had a spanish accent. I asked when they are coming next and to my surprise he said "I DON'T KNOW". How can he not know? Shouldn't a MANAGER know his company's SCHEDULE?!?!?! This guy came out after the office closed so I had to call the office the next day to explain what happened. THEY TOLD ME THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF ANY MANAGER THAT CAME TO SEE ME!!! Now I'm stuck and sure as hell can't afford to fix my car. Wolfer team came out to do my yard today. I needed an area cleaned out, and several trees to be trimmed. They did a fantastic job! It was a lot of work and during the cutting there were branches everywhere, which is normal, but when they left everything had been cleaned up and removed from my yard. It was clean as could be! POOR QUALITY TREE CUTTING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Wolfer Landscape was very responsive to get out to quote the tree work and schedule a crew to come and do the work that next week against all their other jobs. They showed up and cut down the tree branches down but did not alert anyone they were there and did not properly prune the trees with each cut. They came and left. They "Hacksaw-ed" them which is against city compliance. Upon City inspection, we had to get another crew out to fix as they became un-responsive and when they finally did respond they did not take responsibility and were not helpful to say the least. read more

We needed some trees that had been struck by lightning removed and stump ground. Gary came out to give us an estimate and he was great! We scheduled the work and the crew was fantastic!They did an amazing job! They removed the dead trees and some invasive trees, used the stump grinder (remote controlled!!), and planted some podocarpus. The crew members worked seamlessly together the entire day! They were pleasant and they left their work areas clean at the end of the day. Very pleased! read more

First impressions are important. We called their offices to schedule an estimate for services. The person that we spoke to gave us a day and time range of two hours for when someone would be out to meet with us. The day before the appointment a gentleman calls us from his cellphone to confirm the appointment for the next morning. The next morning came around three hours past the time someone was supposed to be at our house no one had shown up or called. We called the main office to find out what happened, and the lady said she needed to put us on hold, she came back to the phone and said that the gentleman had gone out and no one was at home. We informed her that that's impossible since we work from home and if that was true why wouldn't he have called? He just called the day prior. We were told that we would get a call back in a few, well 7 hours later no call. Needless to say, if a company has this little respect for its possible paying customers, I can only imagine how they would treat you once they get paid. I have lived at my current home for 2 1/2 years and the first thing I thought I would do when I moved in was cut a huge tree I had in the backyard. Noticed I said HAD. Well it is gone now thanks the folks at Wolfer. They actually did one of our neighbors tree across the street, they did such a great job that I sent the hubs to ask who did their tree. They didn't have the info handy, but a few days later, a rep from the company showed up to do an estimate. They quoted me what I thought was a fair price. I went got permits, and we had them start as soon as we could. Unfortunately they started the very first day of that rainy streak we had going, but they came and stayed as long as they could. They worked in the rain and were drenched by the time they called it quits. This was. Saturday, the same happened Monday. They were not able to come back for the rest of the week. They came back the fist opportunity and finished everything beautifully. Everyone was very professional. They have all types of machines to do everything. I was quite impressed. Great service! I can't say enough how pleased I am with their service. I had a number of large trees trimmed. They have a certified arborist and the trees look phenomenal. They did a through job of cleaning up as well. The price was more than fair. I would highly recommend this company and will certainly use them again. read more

This has to be one of the most misleading companies I ever seen. Got a quote to do a very specific job, paid 50% at front and I even got a drawing on the paperwork of what was supposed to take place. The plants were placed on the wrong place, no one bothered to even let us know that they were short. I had the "owner" Call me to let me know that they were going to return to my house to rip off the Lanscape already installed even though it was worked on the wrong side of the house. I am a firm believer in providing positive feedback and a lot of referrals to any company or business that I feel has gone over and above in the excellent procurement of their services. Make no mistake about it. Wolfer Landscape Services is not a member of that club. How low should a consumer rate a company that they have hired that strikes the complex development gate and causes over $300.00 of damage to that gate, before they have arrived in your back yard? It gets worse. After they caused the damage, this group of yokels ascertained that a collision into community property causing significant damage, did not meet the threshold to warrant filings report or notifying anyone in the community. This was their best course of action in spite of the fact they spent the next several hours working in my yard. Wolfer Landscape Services truly operates at the very bottom of the food chain They are the quintessential organization that everyone mocks for their lack of integrity. Sean Wolfer, the owner of this horrendous business, was sent a copy of the film footage at the gate and the damage that his company truck had caused. He has had three months and he has refused to pay for the damage; citing the gate was not working. There are huge trucks from a multitude of businesses coming into this development on a daily basis with no reported problems with the gate. You need to man up and take care of your financial obligations and remit the $321.00 that you owe my development. One would hope that when you started your business, you ventured out with an initial goal of hopefully providing some level of professional service to the community. The gate is not what is defective. It is your moral compass that is defective. When did you decompensate into the twisted individual and crooked business owner that you have evolved into? There is a frightening combination of disdain for the community you are supposed to serve, coupled with a sense of arrogance and entitlement, that makes you a poor choice for anyone in the community to chose your company to provide any type of landscaping services. I don't know anyone on the planet that would aspire to hire a company to do some work and then have to incur hundreds of dollars in damage that the vendor had caused and refused to take responsibility for. But this is you Sean Wolfer. You swim in and operate in a compromised pool of values, so wear those values on your sleeve, because this is what you offer today's consumer. As a result, your tainted reputation will follow you like a fingerprint. Companies today have little catch phrases or slogans that help the consumer identify and remember them. Geico's catch phrase is 15 minutes could save you15% in car insurance. The number 1 that I rated your company's level of service is actually misleading. It might give the false impression that your company actually provided some positive value or services to myself or the community where I live. That is most assuredly not the case. If you are looking for landscaping or tree trimming services, make an informed decision and remember his operating practices with respect to my community. With this company it is more important who you don't chose as apposed to who you make your final choice for your landscaping services.
