I would see this Doctor again in the future since he is very knowledgeable. My review though is due to the last few visits I had to go through and deal with when it came down to medical insurance. When I had to go through a series of blood checks to see where I was getting these clots, the bill was over 20 plus thousand dollars. Medical insurance took a big junk, but I asked the Office about the insurance issues and what my deductible would possibly be and they kept telling me not to worry that the insurance would take care of it, Well I had to fight with the insurance on my own while they the Office staff were wrong on many things and I had to be the one to deal with the insurance and the bill. My left over bill was over 6,000 for blood work alone. This bill was without even having a ultrasound done to my left leg and or the doctor even touching my leg. I would suggest asking more detailed questions to the insurance before having any major blood work done or procedures, so that way you know what you owe and not get stuck with.

Now, if this is your first biomedical consult, you might be overwhelmed by the number of supplements he recommends. The way I look at it is he puts everything on the table so you can take over as Dr. Mom/Dad. This saves you money. Other practitioners might make things simple by offering one supplement recommendation per visit, but you have to keep going back to pay them more. According to the scheduling supervisor a block was put on my account and to refuse service because I was "non-compliant". Last year I was discharged from the hospital and was directed to go see this doctor. I was told by the hospital that cutting me open and draining my wound would most likely lead to an infection and to stay away from that procedure. Well, Dr Newman suggested that (cut me open and drain the fluid) After the hospital told me about possibly getting an infection, i really had to think about it ( I did not know that going out to get a second opinion would turn out to this). Well, now I find out that because I didnt allow him to perform that procedure he basically kicked me out of the system for being non-compliant according to the scheduling supervisor and therefore I am not welcomed back. He did not "Dismiss" me like he did to a previous patient - he did not "Fire" me like he did to a previous patient but instead he "Blocked" me. I find it such a evil thing a doctor can do. Im glad I checked Yelp because I thought I was the only one. Remember , its either his way or you will possibly get blocked like me.

When I was called to see Dr Bregman I was so impressed by his confidence and bedside manner. Very easy to talk to explained everything in detail and made me feel like everything would be OK.. I had a MIS with AKIN osteotomy along with several other procedures and a decompression of the Morton's nerve. When I arrived at the surgery center the office staff was very professional and reassuring.. I did speak to Dr Bregman before the procedure and after. The anesthesiologist came in and explained in detail everything he was going to do. He was also very professional and reassuring.. after the procedure the anesthesiologist again informed me of what to expect once I got home. Dr Bregman also informed me of how the procedure went and other postoperative instructions. I am writing this review the day after my procedure and so far I have no pain probably due to the nerve block. I cannot say enough about Dr Bregman. He is absolutely the best all around Doctor I've been to.. I highly recommend.
