This is a magnificent, rustic, unique, expansive establishment that offers a cornucopia of items. From floral, to meats, cheeses, wine, speciality items, fruits, snacks, vegetables, hard-to-find items and more. There is so much more! The inside of the building has items from various garden related vendors (except for one - I will get to that one in a minute): fairy garden items, bird houses, yard decorations, etc. They also have food items from several Amish bakeries and oh my, the hand pies are excellent! Thankfully for my waistline I only had a bite of my husband's apple hand pie after we left or I would have gone back in and one of every flavor. Where Salem Gardens stands out is their dedication to plants that are unique. Yes, you will find marigolds (standard for all gardens for pest control) but they have an amazing assortment of other plants that are truly different. They built it by hand, and crafted it to be an incredible community space. They host fun community events like glass cutting and fairy basket making classes. The prices are incredibly reasonable.
