When Dr Hill determined that I would need an outpatient surgical procedure, the scheduler, Susan, didn't call to set up the procedure until more than 6 business days later after regular business hours. During the week I waited for the scheduler to call, I left two voice mail messages in her mailbox asking for a callback By the fifth day with no response, I reached out to my BayCare PCP. Upon my request, the PCP referred me to Moffitt Cancer Center. Less than one hour later, Moffitt set me up as a new patient and scheduled a consultation with a GYN. Though this means a second GYN consultation for me vs the next step of getting the necessary procedure done, I feel as if the schedulers at Moffitt have a better sense of urgency, a stronger business acumen, and a higher level of commitment to serving patients in a timely manner. I had no prior experience with Moffitt, yet they rolled out the red carpet and used kid gloves from the moment we connected to help a person in need.

This was my first time at this location, which wasn't too far away but I had the same experience here as the other locations. Friendly and courteous staff at the front desk with a short wait until I was taken into- the room. Even in the room my wait was very brief until the doctor came in. I also saw a new doctor during this visit but it was just the same as my regular doctors, she was knowledgeable, friendly, and speedy with my process.

I wish I could give negative stars. Let's begin with my high risk, twin pregnancy nearly 6 years…read moreago. I was seen often and each time complained about itching my skin off and was told "oh it's nothing" - every single time. Finally I brought this up to my high risk doctor, was tested for Cholestatis, and guess what - CONFIRMED! By the way, Cholestatis can result in still borns and resulted in an emergency c-section! But they didn't take me seriously, despite sitting in multiple physicians offices in tears beginning for relief and answers. Following delivery at my 6 week post off, I was still itching and begging for some type of relief - they PERSCRIBED hydrocortisone. When the pharmacist called me to tell me (politely of course) that my physician was "clueless" and prescribed me an over the counter medication that I could come pick up on Aisle 11, I was MORTIFIED. Fast forward to today - I had an annual mammograph, followed immediately by an ultrasound due to dense breast tissue. When they received my results, they called me immediately to have another ultrasound. Why do you ask? Great question - I inquired over and over again and they just kept saying "The doctor is requiring you to have another Ultrasound" - so I go, complete the ultrasound AGAIN, and they call me 2 weeks later to ask me WHY I would go get the procedure done again! The nurse, Tracy, couldn't seem to understand why SHE couldn't answer my questions when I inquired about why I would need another ultrasound 2 weeks following the original. By the way, the result I was left with after the initial ultrasound was "probably not cancer" - so you can understand why someone would be desperate for answers. My insurance was more than willing to pay for an MRI for quick results and answers, but Tracy and the nursing staff didn't want to put in the work to get the prior-authorization, despite my insurances willingness to provide with the appropriate documentation. STAY FAR WAY from this organization. They are an absolute nightmare. You should never have to advocate this much for your own health. Also, you cannot leave a google review for this clinic and Tracy essentially laughed me off when I told her I'd be heading to the internet to share my experiences. It's still possible to share the feedback and honestly, every should know and be prepared if they are a patient of this clinic. I will NOT be returning.
