To me, it's not quite as good as the other options. The beef bulgogi bowl was pretty good and the egg on top was nicely done. But, I'd rank the taste/flavor as not as good the Gogi Korean and Won Korean. Also, no banchan (Korean appetizers) like Gogi and less appealing interior atmosphere. There was a smell of rank cooking oil that seemed to permeate the dining area. That bothered me the whole meal and made it hard to enjoy the food. Also, comparing K-Pocha to competitors, it's more expensive. If I am paying more, I expect it to be better. Service was decent and prompt. So, no issues there. Just not my favorite place for Korean food. Overall: It's just ok.

Our server was rather new and that contributed to the deduction. My main dish was the beef bulgogi and scores 100. Cooked to perfection, a very ample portion and served hot. Never had bulgogi with slivered mushrooms but it worked amazingly well. Tasted a few other dishes and each was a standout, especially the chicken teriyaki.

What I found odd was that the menu was drastically smaller than the ones I've been to in Miami, which would offer other Korean staples like tteokbokki and fish cakes as additional side options. Maybe the Knoxville food scene just doesn't justify carrying those other options. I feel like this locations business is primarily takeout and delivery based since there was basically no other customers inside the physically restaurant dining in. Pricing is pretty crazy though compared to other local fried chicken options. Would not recommend the calamari as it was just average. Definitely recommending to just stick to the chicken if you do go here.
