    Korean Rice Bowl
    Emily M.

The food is so good! And the service is so nice! They were able to answer all my questions. There were plenty of seating at Kerns right next to their venue. They fried my tofu right there as I ordered.

    Tofu rice bowl. Delicious!

This place is a great addition to Kern's! I dined here last night and really enjoyed it. I customized my own bowl and ordered a rice bowl with tofu. They have a great selection of fresh and tasty toppings that you can add as well. I loaded up my bowl and topped it off with the teriyaki and yum yum sauce. It was delicious. They are generous with their portions, so I was happy to have leftovers to take home. I will definitely dine here again!

We've been anxiously awaiting the opening of Kern's Food Hall at the Kern's Bakery historic site. It's a work-in-progress and there is so much excitement in the air. Won Kitchen is for foodies who want to indulge in a Korean style build-your-own rice bowl. Start your bowl with two generous scoops of white, brown or fried rice atop a bed of romaine lettuce. So now the adventure begins with assorted options of chicken, Korean BBQ chicken, tofu or marinated beef bulgogi. Topped with various pickled veggies, corn, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, beans, kimchi, noodles and more. And then there are the sauces to add the finishing touch to your gourmet masterpiece. All the meats were moist and tender. The veggies were fresh and colorful. The pickled options were delicious, and everyone was totally satisfied. There are other offerings that I will try next time. Overall a very satisfactory experience.

My mom said Asia Kitchen is the best Chinese in the city now. Unfortunately if that is correct, then it makes me very sad. I have eaten at "Real" Chinese restaurants before and this is not close imo. I got Szechuan Beef...this is supposed to be a very spicy dish. My order was not spicy at all...not saying it was bland, but it didn't have the "kick" I was expecting. My mom shared a whole steamed fish with her friends. They did enjoy it, but it wasn't for me. I have decided to bump my rating up to four stars because of the wonton/egg drop soup. I didn't even realize this was a thing. We got one large serving and it was plenty for the table. Finally the reason i didn't give 5 stars was because of the table service. The others brought wine , but i ordered a Diet Coke when we were seated. Unfortunately it never arrived...our server acknowledged my order, but I guess she forgot during the dinner rush. I did have water so I didn't complain. Overall dinner was ok...it was very nice that we were allowed to take our time.

We popped in because we wanted a beer before the St. Patrick's Day parade. We ended up staying here…read morea few hours because you could see the parade from the window. It wasn't crowded inside, there are a lot of seating options for big or small groups. Several tables could seat at least 6. Michael was bartending when we went. He did a great job at making us feel like locals! He was attentive even though it was quite busy from people coming in from the parade. The arcade area was pretty cool. Each side had a bar, but only one was open at the time we went. We didn't get food, but it looked like they had some yummy options from what we saw get delivered to other tables. The music was good. The people were friendly as well. This is definitely a place we would return to if we come back in town!

I saw the ramen on the Yelp pictures and it spoke to me, so I walked in and ordered some. You have to stand in line at the bar to order your food so that took awhile, but the food came out pretty quick. I wasn't too impressed with the ramen, and I've had ramen all over the world. The broth was good, I enjoyed the spicy flavor. However, having tomatoes in the ramen was weird and I didn't enjoy that. My biggest complaint is there was very little meat in the ramen, like 2 small chunks of brisket. It seems like a great place to have drinks and hang out, but as far as the food it was meh to me.
