Came here with a girlfriend to catchup on a Friday night. It was pretty quiet, maybe one or two other tables filled. Calm ambiance. There was one person we saw in staff. He was super friendly. Food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. Orange chicken had great flavor. I tried a piece of the calamari which looked more like onion rings. They weren't my favorite but everything else was solid if you're craving Chinese like we were! Next I want to try the boba place next door. I think owned by same people. read more

Great Asian spot in Utah county! This place has no frills, just nice simple homemade Asian food. I like how it has a variety of Asian dishes from Chinese to Japanese. I enjoyed all the dishes :) They aren't fancy by any means, which is more than fine by me. However, they were tasty and very very well priced. The avocado in my avocado roll was fresh and creamy. The wonton soup, though different than what I typically eat, was good! Different flavor than expected but still tasty. The Singapore noodles were yum. No complaints! Again, I appreciate the prices and variety of food here a lot. You can't come here expecting fine Asian dining. It's definitely a spot where you'll get home cooking flavored dishes. If you hear giggling when you order egg drop soup, just pull away. Giggling became laughter became a night on the bathroom floor for me and my pup thanks to her retrieval of crab won tons from the garbage. I took a bite of my sushi, and my salmon tasted like my dogs ass. The orange chicken was definitely sitting out a while, very mushy. I hate giving 1 star reviews especially to local places. For reference I ordered a general tso Chinese bento box with lo mein.For starters I ordered general tso and this looks like kung pao chicken. When I ordered my food it was not busy and it wasn't delivery either. They were nice but how do you mess up an order when you're not busy. The food now: the kung pao was so sad, soggy and lacking flavor. Also the ratio of vegetables to chicken is not very good. The lowmein, tastes just like sesame oil. Also no veggies with it? Lastly why did they only put it on one square? It makes the bento box look sad. Hot and sour soup was great. Spring roll was fine Verdict: The inside is cool, has some games to pass time. There are not many sit-down options in Saratoga Springs, so I was excited to come across the Won Won Wok while I was in town recently. I remember that it has been here for a very long time-and I was happy to stop by again. From the outside, it can be a little confusing-there are two entrances. The Won Won Cafe is the same establishment, just where you go to pick up your take-out orders. If you plan to dine in, go through the Won Won Wok side. (If, like me, you enter the wrong door-they will happily direct you to the right place. It's connected inside, so you just walk over to the correct counter.) My wife and I were the only ones in the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. I'm not sure if that was due to Covid and people not eating out much or if that's pretty typical here. We were immediately greeted, shown to a table and given menus. The atmosphere is clean and inviting. The menu is pretty vast-lots of options ranging from sushi to traditional Chinese dishes. I love egg drop soup, and made sure to order that. It was good-all the way until my wife bit into an eggshell. That kind of ruined it for her. We both ordered the Mongolian Beef. When it came out, we were a little underwhelmed by the ratio of beef to onion. And the beef was extremely chewy-some so much so that I set them aside and didn't finish those bites. The service was really good! The waiter was really nice to my kid and brought everything out as soon as it was ready. It wasn't busy which was so nice. Flavor wise, this place has it down pretty good. I usually come here for a boba drink (honeydew or taro flavor). This time I decided to get a dinner size portion of shredded chicken in garlic sauce, which was pretty good, but the noodles were a little bland for my taste. Despite it being a decent meal, for the amount of food I got, I felt the price was definitely a little too high for my liking, and I did get a dinner size portion, that honestly, left me still hungry for more. So I was looking for some good Chinese food and this came place came up! I am so satisfied with this place and it did not disappoint in anyway. This place is just down to earth and very casual and just a warm and fuzzy feeling. The service here was amazing was greeted with a smile and was seated quickly. It was nice and quite to enjoy our dinners. The sesame chicken was amazing with fried rice, my kids enjoyed the orange chicken with chowmein. This was our second try at having food from Won Won Wok. We ordered through DoorDash. I assumed things weren't going well the first night that we ordered and wanted to give them a second chance. If possible, the food was worse this time. I notice that the Won Won Wok menu includes both Chinese and Japanese foods, and am curious about the food heritage of the owners and cooks. Perhaps they're Italian? German? I make much better Chinese food than this without a genetic disposition thereto. One might think it possible that my dislike for the food could be due to having become accustomed to Chinese-American food. However, when a dish is named "Mongolian beef" and doesn't include any beef we likely have more than a difference of opinion. The soups were both cold, which could be forgiven, but were not edible. The Mongolian beef was 97% yellow onion, 2% gravy, and 1% spring onion. The Singapore noodles were a tiny bit more flavorful than last time. The fried rice, which was the only thing edible last time, was not quite as good this time. Overall I think we've had our last experience with one one walk. Try it for yourself and add your honest review in case I just hit them up on a second really bad night. read more

I've been coming here for years because it's been one of the few restaurants that has been out in Saratoga for as long as I've been out here 13+ years. But lately, their food just hasn't been good and I've been quite dissatisfied. One of the things I really do like though, is their LoMein that you can ask for instead of the fried rice; it comes with just noodles, no cabbage or other veggies so my kids like it. My brother and I ordered dinner from here Saturday night right before 7 pm. I just ordered online and put to pick it up asap and it said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I drove over there and got in the drive thru line but there were two cars ahead of me. I figured it would be faster to just go inside. I parked and went in the North West door and went left into the next room to pick up my food. It was hot and ready waiting for me. My brother and I both got bento Chinese boxes: I got sesame chicken with hot and sour soup and noodles while he got the tofu with vegetables and noodles with wonton soup. I bet the sesame chicken would be better fresh and not taken home since it lost its crispiness. The noodles were a great alternative and the soup was delicious with lots of yummy goodness inside. My brother enjoyed his tofu and veggies and his soup had two big wontons. I also liked that it came with a little container of fruit, cantaloupe, and an egg roll with sweet and sour sauce for dipping. The noodles do cost extra but worth it. They have takeout menus for both. There are two sides for Chinese and Japanese restaurants. They have chairs and drink vending machines in the waiting area. They also have drive thru and door dash but delivery. It took about ten minutes for my to go order to be prepared. It was $60 for four adults--not bad. Zero stars. Ordered bento boxes and sushi. The chicken in the bento boxes was pretty much all batter and not that much sauce. The egg drop soup tasted like fish. We got a Philadelphia roll, the spicy tuna roll and vegetable roll they all tasted expired. The dressing on the salad also tasted expired. Everything had a funk to it, either tatsed fishy or like dirty sink water/soap. Definitely will not be back. Now I hope and pray I won't get food poisoning from the few bites I did take. read more
