Surprisingly Good! Let me be honest by starting with I think that the food is delicious my personal fav would be the veggie egg rolls! I was shocked at the quality of food with the reviews. I ordered take out via Uber eats (because I had a credit) and got the order for pick up! I was craving some Chinese cuisine and happened upon this location off of State Street. It was one of the best navigation errors I've made thus far. Ordered the Kung Pao Chicken to go lunch plate. She tried to order 2 dishes of rice and chicken for both of us and instead ended up ordering a plate of 2 chicken and 1 rice (like at panda express) and the people behind the counter yelled at her for ordering it. Rice Wok sits firmly in the category of edible but not incredible. It excels in one thing; being cheap. I would find myself hard pressed to find a large amount of food comparable to Rice Wok for 7 bucks. I ordered the Orange Chicken combination platter that comes with ham fried rice and potstickers. The ham fried rice was average, as were the potstickers. The chicken was really just battered and fried chicken doused in sweet and sour sauce served with an orange slice, so that was somewhat disappointing, yet edible. I found the chicken dry and almost a little tough. If you want cheap food, you won't be disappointed. If you're looking for a more gourmet experience, you can do better elsewhere. read more

Came here on a late afternoon Thursday and was pretty busy. They get a lot of to go orders. There's a very similar location I know located in South Jordan. We straight up didn't even eat the sesame chicken because it was a soggy pile of mush that tasted as terrible and bland as it looked. The cashew chicken was okay minus the chicken which tasted microwaved and the rest was also very bland. We won't go back here unfortunately. I used to eat here for lunch when I worked in the neighborhood. That was 6 years ago. It was never the pinnacle of Chinese cuisine, but something has happened since then and the food is not nearly as good as it used to be. The orange chicken is nearly as much breading as chicken and tastes like it has been fried in oil that hasn't been changed in months. The glaze was cloyingly sweet. Beef and broccoli was better but not by much. The beef was jerky-like in texture and the broccoli was nearly raw. But at least the sauce was about what I expected it to be. Rice. How do you mess up rice so badly when it comes with every order? Uncooked so much that you could feel the germ in each grain. Come on, guys. One of those places that you forget you love until you have it again. Big portions, low prices and fast. Delivery is quick and cheap and pick up is nearly wait free, like as in 5 min after you order. Friendly staff for the most part, but make sure you order clearly and off the menu or you can get stuck with something that you didn't expect by fault all your own. I was unexcited by the pork chow mein, but the sesame chicken was good if a little on the sweet side. The Mongolian Beef was only a little spicey. So the Rice Wok saved the day.
