Their noodles are my favorite as a base but I'm also a big fan of the fried rice. The portions are generous - sometimes I wish there were more veggies because they shrink down in the cooking. I do know they have beef tallow option to cook the food in. I wish they could use olive oil or avocado oil instead of canola and that it wasn't an additional $1 for the beef tallow. Yum this place is great!! You get to pick and choose a wok stir fry just for you! I love being able to choose all the veggies I like and not have to take out veggies I don't like. The Subway of Wok. I really do enjoy these build your own places. Menu front and center when you enter. Small location, they still pretty busy. Good service, type of service you'll get a chipotle. It's a great idea, come in, let them know the base whether it be noodles, rice (white or fried) and toppings. I went with fried rice, steak and toppings were baby corn, mushrooms and bok choy. If they're busy, you might get lucky and land some topping from the last person lol. If they sauce has any chili in it, you're gonna feel it in the building. Overall I was pretty disappointed. This is a super popular restaurant and totally fits a fast casual vibe, making it a quick pick for working professionals looking for lunch. But for $16 dollars it was basically a fancy Panda Express bowl for twice the price. Besides being pretty disappointed with the cost to volume of food ratio, it was just so loud. With such a small dining room, every seat is within close earshot of the kitchen and the line to order. The combination of banging woks and a lunch rush line made the dining room deafening. I traveled from S Provo (not far, I know) in search of a mushroom soup. When I arrived, Zhavon greeted me and asked what I wanted. I showed him the Miso soup on the menu, and he politely informed me it was no longer available. The menu was old and had not been updated. I just did that!! I told Zhavon the soup is the reason I traveled there and was disappointed it was no longer available. I did order the garlic chili half wok all veggie ( I'm on a diet). Zhavon then offered to "whip up" a mushroom soup on the fly so I could have some type of mushroom soup. He went over and beyond the threshold of service to create a soup on the fly. Needless to say, it was delicious (even for on the fly). The garlic chili bowl was incredible as well. I asked for extra spicy and it was that!! Not in a bad way, though. I contacted the owner to express my gratitude for such an awesome experience, telling him Zhavon is worthy of 2 platinum stars!! I also encourage anyone who has been "on the fence" to definitely visit. The ambiance is very casual, typical mom and pop strip mall shop but not sterile (no decor) or junky either. I ordered fried rice as my base, and my husband ordered yakisoba noodles as his base, and we both got Wok sauce. I ended up liking the noodle base way more than the fried rice base!! It allows the flavors of the delicious Wok sauce to stand out more! We came on a very busy Friday night, and unfortunately we had to wait pretty long for our food. I realize this is because they make everything fresh right then and there which I appreciate, but just keep that in mind if you're starving when you get there! I am not sure what I was expecting with Wok the Line, but it blew any expectations I thought I had through the roof. Wok the Line is located in an up and coming area within Pleasant Grove. They have all kinds of developments coming in and there is lots of food to choose from in the area. Although, if I had to give you a recommendation, it would be Wok the Line, without a doubt. I, along with everyone and their dog, came to this area during lunch time. The parking lot was stuffed and I was uncertain how the wait would be at Wok the Line. I was pleasantly surprised that there was not a wait at all. I woked up to the ordering area and was greeted by a girl working behind the counter. I decided on a regular sized bowl with chicken, peppers, extra peppers, baby corn, and onions. There was quite a few sauces to choose from, so this was a hard decision, but I elected for the teriyaki sauce. The cheese wontons were also calling my name so I got those with a fountain drink too. I was a bit shocked that the bill for this was over $20. If there was one "con" to Wok the Line, I would say it is the pricing, without hesitation. I was telling one of my friends about Wok the Line and they said the exact same thing. I mean, I get prices are tricky right now but the amount just seemed a bit steep. Since they were not all that busy, I was able to find a table really easily. It wasn't more than a few short minutes of getting my drink and sitting down, that my food was ready. It was steaming hot and I was excited to eat. My bowl was amazing! Everything was cooked just how I wanted it and the flavor of the sauce ran throughout the dish. Really, this was one of the best lunches I have had in a while. I regret not trying Wok the Line sooner. The wontons were good too; they came with a sauce that paired really nicely with the little snack. I would absolutely love to go back, as it was such a phenomenal meal. The pricing is just still the biggest thing for me. There are some similar restaurants, in which you can get it unlimited for the same price. You are able to choose the size of your portion, your grains, veggies, protein and sauces; all of which is made fresh for you! As a first time visitor, I tried the Wok Sauce with my dish and it did not disappoint! The location is well managed and while a big loud, I was able to get some work done by sitting towards the back of the restaurant. One thing that irked me a bit was the guy kept trying to make small talk with me by asking the same things over and over "is this your first time, do you live in the area" and then rinsed and repeated. I really enjoyed the food here! The inside is nice and it's pretty clean as well. There is limited seating and it's a busy place, so take that into consideration. I would also suggest ordering online. However, I found it unpleasant I had to create a login profile to do so and that they won't do phone orders. The staff was nice but seemed stressed and disorganized. I literally waited about 15 minutes to pay for my order while several employees were standing behind the food line side of the counter. Then it took about another 10 minutes before my food was done probably because they were busy. The Nihon curry was was excellent t though! The curry was amazing, I loved the apples and the flavor they brought to the dish. The full bowl size is a lot of food and I would recommend the half size if you don't want to feel really full after. The bowl was also very hot from being freshly cooked as well. Overall, great food and flavor (hence 4 instead of 3 stars) but not the greatest customer experience when it comes to service. read more

What a fun, yummy place. You "wok the line" inside and get up to the counter to place your order. Simply choose a "base" (noodles, rice, tofu etc). I choose half sweet potato noodles (delish) and half fried rice. Then choose a "protein" (chicken, steak, shrimp etc). I skipped protein this time. "Wok further down the line" and pick a sauce. I asked the nice young man taking my order what the best sauce was. I ended up getting half Teriyaki, half Wok sauce. My daughter mixed the spicy Dan Dan sauce and teriyaki. "woking further down the line", I loaded up almost ALL the veggies. The decor was modern and I loved the cool wooden light fixtures. My husband and I both got noodle bowls (because noodles are superior to rice in my opinion) and one had steak while the other was shrimp. We loaded ours up and our choice of sauce- we did the Dan-Dan sauce for shrimp, and Skyler AKA the man behind Wok the Line suggested we mix teriyaki and Dan-Dan sauce for the steak. This is one of those places where the taste and freshness make ups for the lack of portions. The Good: This food is fresh. They cook it for you right at the moment and my god the foods is hot. I had to let it cool down for 5 minutes and I was still kind of burning my tongue. The garlic chili sauce was amazing. So much flavor. The noodles were also very good, nice and thick and a decent amount. A very delicious bowl of food. The Bad: Cost is the not the best I ordered a half bowl and it came out to almost $9. The base bowl starts out a certain price and then every add on costs money except for veggies. The noodles is extra, the chicken is extra. Granted I got the half but for $9 and picking chicken as my protein it's not the best deal. I think this place could easily be a 5 star if they upped their protein portions. read more

Do yourself a favor and RUN don't Wok to Wok The Line! But really Wok The Line is the best Asian bowl restaurant we've ever tried! Once you choose from one of the Wok The Line originals or make your own they cook it right there on a wok and bring you your food nice and hot! They use top quality ingredients and their sauces are so good. Our toddler who is picky about most things she eats ate half my noodles and with good reason! They are delicious and perfectly cooked! The only downside was that the kimchi was more sweet than spicy...and growing up with my Korean grandma cooking for us regularly I was I little disappointed, but it wasn't bad just didn't elevate the dish as much as a spicier kimchi could have. We'll definitely make this a regular place to visit and will drive past the other places that only wish they were as good! read more
