So we reached out to Emily with around 1-2 weeks before our target date. After we paid the initial fees ($250 for the ceremony + another $250 for the confidential wedding license), she set up a phone call to get to know us and helped with the details such as where it'd be, when, and if we wanted to say our own vows. Now, we got married during the pandemic so it was very limited to what they can actually offer at their location. We brought in tripods to set up our phones to do a virtual wedding. I had Facebook live and my husband had zoom on his. This allowed all of our friends and family to attend from near and far. We got there at 1030am to set up and sign the documents. Then the ceremony started at 11am and finished at 11:11am! It did not take us 1 hour to get married, took us longer to set up than it did for the whole process lol. The BEST part is they do EVERYTHING that deals with paperwork for you! During covid, that meant everything because I didnt have to worry about going to file at the county, or deal with people. Before the wedding, he sent us a word document that detailed how everything was going to take place and what was going to be said including the vows. It was really detailed which we liked. Also, he contacted us several times before the wedding to make sure he answered any questions we had. We had a really small wedding under 40 people. Michael did a terrific job on the ceremony.
