Tina's Wedding Chapel is a family run hidden gem. My husband and I got married here about a month ago at the end of December and it was absolutely perfect. If you are looking for a small intimate and affordable wedding and reception venue with a beautiful garden backdrop, this is the way to go. We got the reception package also that included a cake, taco bar and pastries, which was tasty. Additionally, we  got the photography and video package. Alfredo does amazing photography and videography work. It's very convenient because you can pretty much get everything you need there. They're also very flexible because we wanted to bring in Nigerian food and a bartender as well, which we were allowed to do. The bridal room is very large, which was helpful because I had a lot of people in and out of it that day. If you're looking for a place that has servers and a lot of extra wait staff, they don't have that because it's a small venue. It's not really needed though. I had a few family friends help out with that stuff where needed. You can customize your day to be super simple or with more detail. We mainly worked with Alfredo throughout the process of getting things setup. He was super helpful and accommodating. So grateful they made our wedding experience wonderful and would definitely recommend it. read more

We highly recommend this wedding chapel! Sure, it could be argued that it needs more curbside appeal but once you enter, you will be impressed. This quaint and charming place is perfect, given the covid situation. We called them to book our wedding ceremony and they were helpful, fast and professional. Alfredo was amazing in helping us broadcast our ceremony via Zoom. Dalia served as an amazing officiator and our guests loved the venue. It was perfect! Our party went a little over time, but Alfredo and his staff graciously gave us 10 extra minutes in the space. They were communicative from the beginning to the end, and they do a great job in keeping the place clean and beautiful. I have always wanted to get married in a garden and this place definitely did it for me! They have hummingbird feeders throughout the premises, which also happens to be my favorite bird! The day we went to tour it, I saw one and was sold on this venue. Absolutely love it and recommend it. They do an excellent job on improving it and making it better and better for future couples doing their nuptials. I got married and file my immigration paperwork with Tina and her family business. They are nice people, but when it comes to be professional and responsible they did very bad job. Everything was good until they made a mistake changing my address what caused me paying hundreds of dollars and delay the process by months. It's clearly was their mistake but they chose to blame the system every time. I understand mistakes can happen, but I expected her to take responsibility. I will not recommend to anyone who need assistance with immigration application to hire them. Go get a lawyer or at least someone who is responsible for his mistakes and have more experience. This process is frustrated anyway and they made it worst. Be aware!! read more

Tina, Andrea, and Alfredo went above and beyond to make our wedding a dream come true! They were professional, friendly, and available to respond to any questions/concerns we had before and during our ceremony. It was literally a dream come true. Everyone commented on how beautiful and intimate our ceremony was. We ended up going for the full package with reception and ceremony all there and it was the best decision. We had Alfredo taking photos the whole time, Andrea and Tina were doing lots of behind the scenes stuff to make sure it all ran smoothly. They helped with decorations, music, and even suggested an amazing taco guy that came and fed our happy guests! My husband and I were shocked at all we got for a very reasonable price. Stay away from this place!!! Very unprofessional!!!!! Tina did a horrible job on my tax return many mistakes. My family has been going to her for many years so I trusted her, but after the drama and the way we were treated by her and her photographer we will never be returning. She also told my husband that her computers have been hacked so now I'm not sure if my personal info has been stolen along with all the people she has done taxes for and or people who have been married there. I was a witness for my friend's wedding here and it was just perfect. My friend and her now husband were looking for something small, outdoors and intimate. This place fit their needs like a glove and it was absolutely stress free for all of us involved because they had everything we needed, from chairs to flowers to photographer, they had it all. My (now) wife & I had gone to the Van Nuys courthouse and filed our paperwork but due to the vagaries on the govt website, weren't aware that all couldn't be done legally/ceremonially at the courthouse on the same day. We considered flying to Vegas to get it all done, but as we were now in legal and $$ possession of a CALIFORNIA marriage license, wanted to complete the task then & there. After a quick Yelp search, we found Tina's was nearby and after a phone call, did indeed "get it done" with a nice little intimate ceremony with time to spare to take the paperwork back to the courthouse to file it. Wonderful smooth experience. I have been with my spouse 7 years and we finally decided to get married this year in July. I was so nervous about everything (I have anxiety) and Tina and Andrea made sure to keep me calm nothing but smiles and reassurance. Relax! Don't worry! Our ceremony was beautiful, I cried, we had plenty of time to get started and have pictures taken. I had no one to walk me down the aisle and did not plan ahead so they had us meet and walk together. Very affordable and just priceless. I wouldn't have done it anywhere else (first option was court bc half our family is in New York) then it took a long time to get our certificate in the mail so I sent tina's office an email which they responded to within a couple hrs--not days! and were above and beyond helpful. Very pleased with this chapel because they accommodated and solved some issues that came unexpectedly. My only problem with them was the booking of a wedding right before mine which didn't allow for me to come and set up before my wedding. I only had a 15 minute time window so instead, I had to rely and trust on the staff and 2 good friends to do this for me while I was getting dressed . Even though we still we were not able to start on the time we established, it worked out because everyone else was running late as well. We ended up starting almost an hour late but they were very diligent and resourceful in solving problems and calming me down once these were solved. My little flower girl refused to participate and they quickly found a solution to that. In addition to having my two bridesmaids fill in as flower girls, they had my mom and my brother walk me which made my wedding ceremony very unique and special. We had approximately 50 guests and a mini-reception with photo/video included. These were accommodations we were able to get, as opposed to the the basic service most chapels that we researched offered. After the wedding ceremony, they were very helpful in assisting in any way they could such as getting signatures for guest book, etc... Finally, in the end, they compensated the late start by allowing a later closing. They were very polite and gracious, we didn't feel rushed or unwelcome despite of the time. I understand the no deposit refund policy but even if you ask nicely about it or inquire about a possibility to use the deposit for a future unscheduled wedding, Tina is instantly sooo combative and sounding mad. Sure you are frustrated about the lost business but I think there's a better way to say it to someone who just called off a wedding.
