It's set back from River Road which is nice because as you probably know, it's a busy road being right off 287 with multiple businesses and Rutgers nearby. It's a clean playground with a larger playground set for kids 5+ and a smaller playground set for those younger than that. It's got a few cool features such as a "tree" ladder, a rock boulder to climb, a circular swivel type of thing to hang off of, and an uneven climbing ladder. The ground is made with small wood chips, while not my favorite (I prefer the soft bouncy surface like at Colonial Park in Somerset), but definitely better than pavement/grass/etc. There are swings, slides (one of them looked like a hazard as it dropped pretty steep but thankfully my little guy didn't want to go on it), and a pavilion area with bathrooms as well. There is a large field before the playground which looks like a nice place to throw a frisbee or I'm sure people play some pick up games there. We will definitely be back as it was quiet, clean, and offered a good variety of fun.

There's basketball courts adjacent to the kids playground and a good amount of parking. It's definitely one of the cleaner and newer parks around and would definitely recommend checking it out.

The center is filled with dedicated loving and caring staff who truly want to be at their jobs and care about the children when placed in their care. My child has thrived and has come home talking, sharing and just learning so much this gives me a sense of relief knowing that she's in the best hands. Unfortunately, we are moving out of state and this is going to be very difficult time for us to try to find another center as wonderful and caring and that will uphold the same high quality standards as Child time does. There is no shade here and it gets hot mid-day. It is not obvious, but you can park right next to the playground by the bike racks. Next to the playground is a sand volleyball court. Further north there is a baseball field, and a paved walking trail around the park, where you can see a cannon, a gazebo, and the berms created for flood control (Bound Brook has had a hard time with hurricanes in the last several years). One of the largest American flags that you are likely to see proudly flies over this park. The Green Brook which borders the west side of the park is a tributary of the Raritan River and offers good fishing opportunities.

John was really great at making sure every member of our group felt comfortable out on the water and patiently looked after everyone since we paddled at slightly different speeds.
