This is by far the best Chinese food I have eaten in the area, I ordered the food directly from their web page. The process was easy and you can pay cash or credit when they arrive. So it's very convenient. (You also have a time frame without extra charge). So that's a big plus to order directly from the restaurant. I ordered the General Tao's Chicken, the house special Lo Mein and an order of the boneless ribs. Every entree was delicious, the lo mein had a generous amount of meats. Service was delightful. Very welcoming and friendly. We ordered the 2 dinner combos that came with soup or egg roll and a drink. We both got soup. Wonton & egg drop soup was off the charts. We both got the fried wings with chicken fried rice. We asked for both the wings and rice to be spicy. The rice was flavorful and piping hot. The wings was also fried fresh to order. My only dislike was the wings was fried with tempura. Not really a fan Mabe because I'm used to regular fried wings. But definitely will be back to try other menu items. I want to blame it on what I ordered which is a combo order with white rice and Kung pow chicken with taro boba. I have ordered from wonton garden for years whether I'm at work or sometimes I will order at home for dinner. That won't happen again. The last two times I've ordered. I'm not sure what's going on. If there is a new chef or some thing. It's been quite disturbing the previous time I ordered the food just didn't taste right the sweet and sour chicken was hard but we enjoyed the rest of the meal and just left that to the side. This time I ordered I got a small special fried rice and an order of house special egg foo young I was beyond livid I was even too pissed off to call them back to pick it up or me drop it off. Why in the world send Burnt egg foo young to my house? We each took a bite and looked at each other and then immediately turned it upside down. You could even see all the beans sprouts are black. Why would you serve that to anyone? Why would you send that to someone's house? I was so livid I just picked up the whole damn thing and throw it in the trash, considering for a small special fried rice and A house special egg, foo young and you're going to send it to my house burnt who does that and for those two things it cost me $32 are you kidding me I will never order from them again . Placed a phone order for pick up at 6:00 (Christmas Eve) and they told me it would be ready in 40 minutes. We were fine with that, even gave them some extra time. Got there, our order still wasn't ready, the place had one cook and it was absolute chaos. They then tell us they don't have one of our items so they swapped it for a diff type of noodle. We waited another 40 minutes for our order. Thankfully it seemed like it came out fresh and hot. We get home & most of our food was cooked with what looked like burnt oil. Not really recommend this place. I ordered General Tso chicken which I had so many times in so many different Chinese places. The chicken pieces are quite big and don't have crunchy batter like it usually have. The sauce flavor is good but it was super liquid (not as thick sauce as other Chinese places). And they gave me 2 pieces of broccoli. I was sock. Also I knew that they charge extra money for any kind of sauce that other places usually give customer for free (soy sauce, sweet & sour, chili etc). There was other lady who ordered quite a bit of food from them including egg rolls. Just picked up our takeout order and there was no wonton soup or egg roll. Not worth the trip back to get the missing items! So frustrating!

Kristy contacted me via phone in regards to my order that never went through and was very cordial and polite about trying to fix what went wrong. She assured me the system was offline during the time of my order and she felt the need to compensate me for what had happened. I ended up placing an order again and was very pleased with the service I received. The employee that was there that day was also here today and apologized for the issues that happened and was very polite about everything that went on. I appreciate Kristy reaching out and helping with the situation as well as the new order. Have not received service like this in regards to a botched order but this has gotten me back to ordering from Wonton Garden again. I have been searching for Chinese food as good as the one I'd eat in New York City. Well, I finally found it. I had there honey garlic chicken with pork fried rice. With egg drop soup and a side of vegetable roll. Amazing! The chicken was the perfect texture the outer golden part was crunchy and the sauce was perfect. The egg drop soup and rolls really really good! And the pork fried rice? I was delighted to find decent size pork in the rice unlike many other places! Will definitely be ordering from them again. Absolutely the worst customer service! I went into the restaurant to place an order, pork fried rice, veg lo mein and general tso chicken. I'd like to preface this by saying English is my first and only language. Upon getting home, I opened up the carton to see vegetable fried rice instead of lo mein. I called the restaurant to let them know and they wanted me to bring the rice back (today or tomorrow!) so they can exchange it instead of offering to deliver my correct order or a refund. At one point the person on the phone's response was "we have cameras" implying that I messed up my own order and they can prove it. However, I would love to hear it which was obviously my response. Fly in food. Owner did not resolve issue... On Vacation from Charleston, SC. Ordered house fried rice with jumbo shrimp. When arrived at Airbnb, my 6 year old noticed a fly in his food. I spoke with owner who agreed to refund money and cost associated with being transported to and from restaurant. Once at the restaurant, the owner refused to pay for transportation costs. Owner advised to sue and said she had insurance that would take care of it. Instead of resolving issue, owner called law enforcement and became verbally abusive. I would not recommended. Had this restaurant bookmarked for a while, so as I was going to pay my light bill at Walgreens, I stopped here to get some shrimp lo mein. Located on West Hallandale Beach Blvd., Wonton Garden is a small Chinese restaurant with limited parking that offers dine-in, take-out, and delivery. The inside of the restaurant looks a bit plain and isn't adorned with alluring oriental décor, but there are a few wooden table seating for the customers and one flat screen TV on the wall. Wonton Garden offers a variety of dishes all under $20, for the exception of the family pack and party tray meals which ranges from $22.95 and up, such as soups, appetizers, sides, fried rice, lo mein, cow mein or chop suey, sweet & sour, egg foo young, vegetarian, entrees, chef's special, and lunch & dinner combos. As I entered the restaurant, I rapidly looked at their menu on the counter then I gave my order of the shrimp lo mein lunch special to one of the male employees behind the counter. The lunch special included my choice of soup, egg roll, or can soda (I chose an egg roll) and white rice or pork fried rice (I chose pork fried rice). The wait time was between 5-7 minutes and the aroma from the container as the man handed me my food was enticing. As I sat in my vehicle, I quickly ate the egg roll which was hot and crunchy on the outside with tender veggies on the inside, and it was not oily. The pork fried rice and shrimp lo mein was prepared nicely and tasted fresh...meaning the food had no taste of salt in it. It wasn't a problem to me, I just used the packets of soy and duck sauce for added flavor. Though the outside/inside of the restaurant isn't captivating to the eyes, the prices aren't bad for the quantity of food given. If I don't feel like driving far for Chinese food, I'll get my favorite dishes from here. read more
