Can't wait to go back!!! There is not one thing I don't LOVE about Woo Girl! Cellars... except that they didn't open early enough on Sunday morning for me to go back for more! Even my husband, a strictly red wine drinker, fell in love with their wines and atmosphere. We started with a portfolio flight of stills and sparklings, each one was its own unique, yummy, and delicious experience - not a single one disappointed, but our favorite was the Impartation. The color is light, but the flavor is bold and had my husband forgetting that he's "not a rosé guy." The wine experience alone would bring us back, but the icing on the cake is the people and the grounds. Sammy was amazing and instantly made us feel welcome and invited our dog to roam around and explore inside while Sammy poured wine and gave us some history on the winery and winemaker. Then as we thought our visit was wrapping up, Vivian (founder and winemaker) and Peter came in to visit with us, treating us like we were all long-time friends. At that point we grabbed a glass of wine and were taken on a tour of the grounds where we were invited to take a peek in the beautiful and cozy cottage they rent out for overnight stays. From there we walked down to the river and the deck overlooking the water, which is also available for reservations if you want to relax and enjoy the wine with nature and a couple friends. We have never felt so welcome at a winery, and we did not want to leave. The whole experience was lovely and luxurious. We will definitely be back! read more

Wow so glad me and the hubby came to this wine cellar that offers ROSE AND SPARKLING WINE. Our service was impeccable Sammy was friendly and had great conversation. Told us about upcoming events. We came around the last hour of closing but she did not make us feel rushed at all and she serviced us feeling happy about leaving the place and wanting to come back for more. My husband tried the Rose tasting and I tried the sparkling so we can try all 6 you get 3 tastings for $15 and you can do 4 for $20. I can honestly say I loved all their sparkling wine. The rose was also good the OMFG was the one I like the most. The smell was not to my liking for the rose but that's because I enjoy more of the sparkling. One rose was like a version of an old fashion. She described it perfectly! Would definitely come back to this place. Definitely recommend as a date or with your girlfriends. read more

I was fortunate to discover the Woo Girl! Wine Cellars with a very family friendly vibe for my large group. Our server was Sammy who made us feel welcomed while serving several glasses of wine and those delicious slushies which were perfect for the hot day. Truly, she was the star as she told us about the wineries beginning and sharing several other interesting stories about the property. She even overheard the little ones getting restless and suggested a short ten minute walk down a path to the Mokelumne River where we were greeted by a picnic table to sit, relax, and take in the scenery. I wish I had brought a picnic lunch. I returned a few weeks later to see if my first visit was just a good day. Again, I was greeted by Sammy who picked up the conversation where we left off like we were friends for life. It felt like home and I found that refreshing because it set the mood that made the day more enjoyable. This place is definitely a vibe and leans into the woo girl clientele. The decor and chairs in the tasting room are immaculate and can tell everything was chosen to go together really well. The woman pouring out wine explained every bottle really well and said why the owner did what she did with each. The owner walked in and greeted us and chatted for a bit. I love that this winery is a sort of micro cellar so she can experiment with each type of wine she makes and it's small batch. We had a glass and walked down the trail to a beautiful deck that overlooks the river. We will definitely be back and might even join their wine club next time. read more

Super cute ambiance. We sat outside for our group of 9 as inside is small. Service was great! I liked some of the wine but not all so the tasting is good to see what you like. I would recommend visiting. I think there is only one bathroom so that would be my recommendation is to add more bathrooms (Bogle has some permanent fancy port-a potty like ones). I just visited Woo Girl this past weekend with a group for an afternoon picnic in their outdoor patio area and we had a GREAT time! Woo Girl is extremely accommodating and inviting - we even loved the cozy touches as there were blankets on all of the chairs! So thoughtful! I forgot silverware for our charcuterie items and the owner, Vivian, was so kind and found us some to use which really made a difference! Vivian went above and beyond during our visit AND gave excellent customer service the following day, honoring a refund of our picnic table reservation since we purchased two bottles the day before. This is an absolute jewel among the many great wineries in the Lodi area. I'll be honest, we only discovered Woo Girl because my wife and her friend saw one of those roadside winery markers and loved the name. So we flipped a U-turn in the RV and are so glad we did. The tasting room is wonderfully decorated. The young lady serving us was so friendly and fun. Don't miss the garden, and the short walk to the river is a must. But no great winery experience is complete without great wine. Because they focus only on rosé wine, it is a unique experience to taste the subtle differences between grape varieties and techniques to produce the same style of wine. This was my second visit to Woo girl! This place is such a GEM! We came here for a friend's birthday (there was 8 of us). The inside tasting room is gorgeous but we opted to sit outside since we were a large group. There is umbrellas for shade and tables. The garden area is so magical. Sammy was our host, she was amazing. They have Sparkling Rosé and still Rosé flights to choose (or do both!) If you have time after your flight; order a glass of bubbles and walk to the river. I knew that the Lodi/Central Valley area grew fantastic grapes but I had no idea how outstanding the wineries were until I did a little exploring. Truly some of the best wines and wineries in the world. To stand out amongst such stiff competition is no small feat. Woo Girl! Cellars does just that, and it is special in every regard. The wines are fantastic. In fact I think the best sparkling wine I've ever had is Woo Girl's Napa Valley Brut. It's perfect. The people are even better than the wines. Vivian--the owner, grower, vintner, winemaker--and her husband Peter are two of the loveliest people you'll ever meet. Sammy in the tasting room is also an absolute delight. The people who make Woo! Girl what it is, along with Vivian's vision of her winery and her excellent winemaking skills make the experience enjoyable, unique and memorable. Vivian, Peter and Sammy are always thinking of what will make the guests' time there pleasurable and socially rich. There are always events on the calendar, and twice a month on Sundays there's live acoustic music by Delaware Punch. I love going for those Sundays. I'll meet friends or sit at a small lawn table on my own with a book. Great vibes and the voice of an angel. Love it. The grounds of the property are simply amazing. Celebrated my birthday here and the property itself was beautiful. They have plenty of outdoor seating with a lot of shade so even on warmer days you can enjoy some fresh air. The inside is equally as nice. We ordered a bottle of their Hip Hip Hooray Rosé and it was light, fresh and crisp. The customer service was friendly and attentive. What an absolute GEM! We spotted their sign on the sign post of area wineries and loved the name, and loved the focus on rosé even more! We stopped in and were greeted warmly by owners Vivian and Peter. We got a perfect spot in the lovely garden and got one sparkling tasting and one still tasting to try everything they were offering. The wine was all exceptional--we were especially fans of the Napa Valley Brut, the North Coast Brut, and the Rosé of Grenache Noir. I'm Latino too - what does that have to do this? ¿Qué carajo? The experience here was abysmal. I'm even more infuriated at the inaccurate response to my husbands review. 1 - where we initially parked was not notated as a no parking zone - no signage and a clear driveway. We moved immediately upon being asked. 2 - there were many empty tables, the place was not busy by any stretch 3. Employees were sitting at a table drinking - so how busy could they be? 58 for a bottle of sparkling is out of whack - and it's nerve to pour less than an ounce and charge $8.33 per taste. Had we known that was the pour level and price, we would have left. There's plenty of sparkling houses to choose from- this isn't one of them. Stay away. $25 for three VERY TINY pours! You have to buy 2 bottles as well to to get the tasting waived to boot. We went for the sparkling and were VERY disappointed. The taste was fair at best. Go to LVVR or Nostra Vita if you like sparkling. $15 tastings and only one bottle waive the tasting fee at both of those places. This place tries to act like a high end winery- while the wines are fair to poor and the setting isn't anything to write home about. If you like over paying than this is the place to go.
