One odd thing is, you pull into your slip bow first due to low water on that end of the slip. Make sure you have long enough power cables and water hose as electric and water are center of the slip at the bow end of the boat. The people at the facility and customers were very nice and friendly. They do have a pump out at the dock, but we did not use it on our 3 days there. We would go back.

Moved into the main area and honestly, with all the big rigs that pulled in, it can get very cramped for "privacy". Add to that some dogs and it can get very interesting. As usual at an RV site, some people have ZERO clue about site etiquette. Several folks walking their dogs around my site. My dogs did not appreciate that. But that's the only complaint I had - a bit cramped when all sites around you are full, and people are the same no matter where we camp. The people running this site are the best!! Tom helps you park and it makes it SO easy to back into the spot. First try, boom, all set!! The beach is only a few blocks away, totally walkable. That said, they also provide a ride to and from the beach on the golf cart. Very helpful when you're lugging all your beach stuff. Expensive to stay, but it was a great vacation. Only thing wrong was we had a screen room up that simply didn't attach to the awning. It's freestanding which didn't meet their rules for some reason. It was set up and tied down appropriately. We had it to keep the baby out of the sun. Keep in mind it had been up all day without question. They drove but multiple times. Then she requested we move guest vehicles. That's very reasonable. Then barely described where to park them and said oh don't worry about it. They're literally here for dinner only. She only introduced herself when I asked her name and who she was. Apparently, she told some guy we got in her face. I have plenty of witnesses that can say that wasn't true. So he comes over to start more issues. He didn't want to give his name or any information. Finally said he was one of the 3 part owners but refused to give info. Needless to say, awesome park and land but totally not worth dealing with this drama. We have been camping many places and never had anything like this happen. Start a conversation professional and things will go better for us all.
