I stated we are at the front gate and meeting our family whom was staying there. Kaley stated "someone is in the gate shack." and promptly hung up on me. I got out of my vehicle and walked up to the gate shack to find an older women employee asleep. I said hello excuse me, she snapped awake and said oh I didn't hear you drive up. I said I'm frustrated because I was just hung up on and now I find you asleep out here. She apologized and said it's off season and we're deathly slow. I called the office again and spoke with Kaley again and said we're meeting my family here. Kaley began to question me and stated you need to immediately pay $40 to enter to see your family. We met up with our family and went in to speak with a manager. They stated the managers not here so tough deal with it. We payed the demanded $40 cash for said wristbands, Kaley took the money and said " I can't give you a receipt." Very suspicious is she pocketing the money? ! We went on and visited our family. I then again was absolutely disappointed in the customer service at the bar pool area, we told the bartender what had occurred and she laughed and repeated it's off season and so slow I'm almost asleep too. Absolutely lack luster and sad and devoid of any real positive customer experience. Then the absolute horrific things started to transpire. Were watching 2 life guards hang out at the bar way to long, then go around and sweep debris and remove rain water off things completely oblivious to their actual life guarding duties ie- watching for danger. The drinks and food and amenities were nice except for the bugs and mosquitoes everywhere. Staff need to be trained to have genuine guest service skills and at least pretend to care about there jobs. I feel disrespected, bullied and robbed and just the out right neglect of staff roles is enough to think what the hell? Is this a resort or a very expensive Waffle House with pools. I guess they do whatever they want when the manager isn't there. You can do much better than what we received and the way we were treated by staff. Not a Happy Camper! Campers Beware!! Your on your own in this place ya know cause it's slow and off season. Pathetic absolutely Patheti. I hope employee Kaley enjoys that $40 bucks she stole from our family.

The owners are incredibly warm and present, you can tell they genuinely care about their guests. We saw them every day, and that personal touch made the experience feel welcoming and safe, not just like another RV stop. The park itself is small and cozy, which we loved. It creates a peaceful, community feel without any of the noise or chaos you sometimes get at larger parks. Traveling with our dog can sometimes be challenging, but not here. The fenced dog area was a huge win,our pup absolutely loved it and felt comfortable enough to play and explore freely. That alone made our stay so much more relaxing. Now, I have to talk about the facilities,because I'm very particular about this. The showers and bathrooms are, without question, the best I've ever experienced at an RV park. I also liked that there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby on the main road. I'd probably come back again if given the choice. I highly recommend anyone wishing to camp in this part of the state of Florida to check out the Navarre Beach Campground.

The staff is friendly and make sure that any issues you may have are quickly addressed. It'll definitely be my go-to location to stay when I'm in the area. Only thing wrong was we had a screen room up that simply didn't attach to the awning. It's freestanding which didn't meet their rules for some reason. It was set up and tied down appropriately. We had it to keep the baby out of the sun. Keep in mind it had been up all day without question. They drove but multiple times. Then she requested we move guest vehicles. That's very reasonable. Then barely described where to park them and said oh don't worry about it. They're literally here for dinner only. She only introduced herself when I asked her name and who she was. Apparently, she told some guy we got in her face. I have plenty of witnesses that can say that wasn't true. So he comes over to start more issues. He didn't want to give his name or any information. Finally said he was one of the 3 part owners but refused to give info. Needless to say, awesome park and land but totally not worth dealing with this drama. We have been camping many places and never had anything like this happen. Start a conversation professional and things will go better for us all. Thanks for ruining our trip when we would have been happy to accommodate. I refuse to stay here again. Beware.

Brace yourself - this one is gonna be long! We came for two nights while attending a concert at…read morethe wharf, which is located conveniently across the street, but somehow you feel like you're miles from everything (what is that sorcery?) and ended up wanting to sell all of my belongings, quit my job, and move here. I didn't want to go home, and that's the first time that's happened. This campground is BY FAR the best campground I've ever stayed at. Period. They have thought of everything, and I do mean everything. The sites are spacious, you're not on top of each other. You can rent golf carts and e-bikes, or bring your own. They have nature trails, a trail that connects to gulf state park, and several big fenced-in areas big enough for dogs to actually run around and burn energy, unlike other dog parks that just have a small rectangle. Their dog parks also have at least one tree each for shade, as well as a stainless steel built-in water fountain at ground level for the dogs! There's even a dog washing station so you can bathe your furry friends after a day of playing hard! There is a fitness center, a clubhouse for activities that also has two massage chairs with bookshelves, three separate pools (one is for adults only, age 19+.) The main amenities pool is at the very back of the campground and has a full restaurant that serves all three meals a day, as well as a pool bar that has a large assortment of beer, liquor, and frozen drinks. We got a margarita flight for $22 for 4 full-sized drinks, and they were GOOD! You can't take your own drinks or food to the main pool (with a bar and restaurant, why would you want to?) but you can take them to the adult pool and the pool at the welcome center, which also has a big hot tub and a view of the big lake where you can actually go fishing. There are fire pits, rocking chairs, and other comfy seating options at the pools. There is a large splash pad at the main amenities pool, a shaded cornhole area, sand volleyball, basketball courts, pickleball courts, an arcade, a big playground, and daily scheduled activities. If you're bored here, you're living wrong. You can check into this campground and never have to leave for anything. If you forgot something, just check the general store that's right there by the restaurant and arcade. They have it all! I've never been sad to go back home at the end of a trip, but I was this time. I was seriously trying to figure out how I could go home and sell our house and everything in it, quit our jobs, and just come live here. My kids (11 & 15) are going to love this place!
