Eventually, a quote request for paint also reached him and he was able to provide a quote for painting the entire property as well. Throughout the whole project, he was very responsive and provided picture updates periodically to show the progress. The final project was to replace roughly 1000 square feet of old carpet with luxury vinyl planks and to repaint all walls into one uniform color. Since it was two separate projects, I decided to hire Luis so the work can be done seamlessly. The initial quote also included replacing the existing baseboards but Luis reached out when they were removing the planks that most of it could be saved and repainted. He was able to save me almost $500 on the project. I did have some doubts at first as he did not have any reviews on Yelp at the time when I reached out in early Aug'24. After having the quotes and meeting his partner, Leonardo, I decided to proceed. The work was quick, around 1 week from start to finish and the place was left pretty much spotless. His price was in line with what I expected and lower than some who would use inferior materials. He also wouldn't require payment until the work was completed. His crew obviously knew what they were doing and they completed the job in two days. He had to charge extra because 27 sheathing panels had to be replaced because of delamination of the CDExt.
