Where do I begin? Let's start with the fact that the apartment they showed me is not the one I got. The other apartment had a big cabinet that was ceiling/wall mounted and offered lots of cabinet space. This one does not. That should've been the thing that bothered me from the beginning. Showing me one thing and giving me a different unit. Let's move to the biggest disappointment to living here: nothing works. Set aside the crappy paint job, the horrible smell of the carpet that I had to complain about more than 4 times to get it cleaned to make it tolerable, the fact that there are NO handicap spaces (very needed), or the constant bugs. The refrigerator is a college dorm sized and has NO shelves. It freezes food in the refrigerator section; or the food goes bad because it won't cool it. There is no in between. Management has completely ignored the issue. Repeatedly, I have filed a maintenance requests and they send a completion without any details. Just because someone lives in a studio does not mean they don't eat. It means they live in a small space for convenience. The amount of money that has been wasted because they refuse to fix or replace the fridge is almost as much as the monthly rent. Side note: The range was broken for SIX months! The knobs had no info on them, they fell off frequently, and the oven stayed on all night a couple of times. Six months of having to use a countertop cooker while food is rotting in the fridge. I reported it multiple times and continued to get ignored. FINALLY, a really nice maintenance guy named Tristan, went out of his way, and to his corporate supervisor to get a new range. It arrived today. The refrigerator is still a major problem and it seems to me like this could be considered recklessness on their part. The manager doesn't want to do what is asked, so I have resorted to calling them out publicly. Did I mention that all of this is being done to a SEVENTY NINE YEAR OLD WOMAN??? Did I mention that the maintenance guy had to go to his Corporate boss to get the range fixed because the local manager chose to ignore the risk of fire? I am furious over how little they give a damn. They nickel and dime the crap outta their tenants. They charge for amenities, even if you don't use them or want them. They charge you to pay your rent. Yes, you pay almost $4 a month to PAY THE RENT. My point is, if you are looking to find an apartment that'll be economical, this is not it. It sounds like it is affordable, but you spend a whole lot more wasting your money because they don't fix anything. They post these nice pictures online but those aren't real. ***After posting this, a brand new mini fridge was delivered and installed into my mom's apartment. Tristan is the hero in this story. Thank God I moved out of this place. They will tow your car for any little reason. Then it will cost you upwards of 500 dollars to get it back. They have no empathy. It is a travesty how they are treating their residents. The trash is unreal and all over the place. They never fix anything and ignore requests, but make sure to ride the residents relentlessly about any little thing. Living there was like hell. read more

Woodbrook apartments are in "bed" with Justt Towing. They will allow this crooked towing company to tow you for the most ridiculous reason. Justt Towing tows your car, you go get your car and are only permitted to get it when you pay in cash, and then you are told no receipts. Word is that the apartment is getting a kickback from all the towings. Maybe it is true, maybe it isn't, but that is the word on the street. The issue is, they are allowing a crooked company to take advantage of tenants. This makes no sense considering the towing company charges over 400 dollars to get your car back. That could be put towards rent for someone. Hey Woodbrook, think about that. Renters, do yourself a favor and look for another place to live. read more

This is the worst apartment i have ever seen. I have complaned about the smell since i moved in (the people before me smoked in it). Also, my dishwasher hasn't worked in months. They refuse to do anything. I want to leave but they want to keep my deposit for breaking the lease. They also want me to pay an extra month. Trash is everywhere. The trash compactor has been broken for the past year. I would not recommend living here. read more

Lived here for six months and it's only been problems. The neighborhood isn't the safest I have ever lived in by any means. During my brief stay here my apartment was broken into twice with all my belongings being stolen. The front office does not care about the safety of their clients. I've heard of several other break-ins in the area but the front office always denies that has ever transpired. Personally the ladies in the front Lisa, and Melody need to get an attitude adjustment and start caring for their tenants rather than being slumlords. read more

We have lived here for almost a year and love it! It's very quiet and neighbors are friendly. The apartments are older so it's nothing fancy but it's everything you need. Maintenance is responsive, the office sends out newsletters to keep you in the loop. For the price it's honestly a steal. Nothing but good things! read more

WORST EVER. The maintenance man doesn't do ANYTHING. The property managers do not care about anything. The place is run-down and craptastic. They overcharge for the crappy apartments you get. Don't dare complain about shoddy workmanship, noise, or mold...they won't listen, and they will only try to make things terrible for you. The gym has absolutely NO working equipment. The pool was only open for about 6 weeks this summer. There are no garbage disposals in ANY units, so ignore what the website says. No one picks up after their dogs, so watch where you step. read more
