We booked our trip with BOF when things seemed to be getting a little better despite the pandemic…read more As seasoned distillery tourists, my friend and I were excited to check out some places in TN while we were in town, but didn't want to have to worry about driving ourselves or ride sharing due to distance between places. When I found BOF I knew we'd be in good hands. We booked the 3 distilleries + winery option (best bang for our buck and best way to see multiple places). But as our trip drew closer, the restrictions on bars and places began to return. About a week prior to our visit, BOF alerted us that we either would have to do just 1 distillery and the winery or we could get a refund completely. Since this experience was part of the whole reason we chose Nashville, we decided to back down to just the 1 distillery option. The company was great about keeping in contact with us up until the day. We met the bus at the designated pick up location, got inside, introduced ourselves and then the door closed and the wheels started moving. We were shocked that they kept our reservation - we were in a party bus and it was just the two of us! We were told we could bring roadies (we opted for coffee because we're old and needed the mid-day pick-me-up) and the bus was stocked with water and snacks. Off we went to our distillery - Corsair. It was a very cool brick building, and our guide (I wish I could remember her name, so sorry) got us checked in. Since we were about 30 minutes early, we had time to explore the rest of the building/shops which was a bonus. After the fantastic tour and tasting, we re-boarded and began our drive to Arrington Winery. Although any $ spent at Arrington is not included in the cost of BOF, it was totally worth it to have them take us there. It is a bit of a hike and I wouldn't feel comfortable driving myself back to downtown after a visit there. We had about 1.5 hours at Arrington which was perfect for some tastings, a glass of frose and some snacks. Our driver was safe, and super nice. Since it was just the two of us, we asked if she could drop us off direct at our hotel (about 2 miles away from the determined location) and she did, which saved us an additional UBER ride, so thank you! I look forward to whenever everything opens back up and we can book another tour with them again to try out some new places!

Perched atop a gorgeous hillside vineyard sprinkled with picnic tables and a lovely small stage for concerts, the scenery was breathtaking, peaceful, and absolutely amazing--even under an overcast sky after narrowly missing the rain. The hospitality matched the views, with a warm and friendly staff that made our personal tasting--shared alongside a lovely couple visiting from England--truly special. We explored the tasting options among three of us: Red Flight: Chosen by my father. White Flights: Enjoyed by both my sister and me. Sweet Selection: An alternative flight offering a mix of red and white options. Wine is wonderfully personal, and while I appreciated their selection overall, the whiskey-barrel-aged wines weren't quite to my taste, as I generally prefer wines aged in oak or stainless steel (especially whites). A Helpful Tip for Visitors: While there are handicap parking spaces, we found the walk up to the tasting room a bit challenging for our mother due to back issues. We later discovered a couple of parking spaces closer to the entrance, as well as a staircase. Thankfully, we were able to drive up the hill to pick her up afterward, sparing her the walk back down! After our tasting, we relaxed outside with a picnic lunch we brought ourselves. All in all, I truly enjoyed our visit and would love to return for one of their concerts. As a fun bonus, one of the co-owners is Kix Brooks from Brooks & Dunn! If you've never been to Arrington Vineyards, it is definitely worth a stop.

There were parking attendants on hand directing guests to available spots, which was really helpful since the property is quite large. Once parked, you can either walk up the hill to the winery and seating areas or hop on a complimentary golf cart for a ride. Since we were wearing wedges and heels, the golf cart was an easy decision! Once we made it to the top, I was pleasantly surprised by how much space there was for guests to spread out and relax. There are multiple areas throughout the property where you can enjoy live music, or if you're looking for something a little quieter, there are garden spaces away from the stages where you can sit and take in the scenery. We stopped inside the winery to browse the wine selection. You can purchase bottles to enjoy on-site or order a flight if you'd like to sample a few different varieties. They also offer snacks, water, and a selection of wine-themed merchandise for anyone looking to take home a souvenir. After making our selections, we headed outside to a picnic table with a beautiful view of the vineyard and the mountains in the distance. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous! Everywhere I looked, people were enjoying themselves. Some groups had elaborate picnics set up, others were dancing to the live music, and many were simply relaxing with friends and family. The atmosphere was such a vibe, and I loved every minute of it. After a couple of hours of wine, conversation, and beautiful views, we were ready to head out. One of the golf cart drivers was kind enough to give us a ride back down the hill to our car, which was the perfect ending to a relaxing afternoon. Overall, I had such a great experience at Arrington Vineyards. Between the gorgeous scenery, live music, wine, and laid-back atmosphere, it's the perfect place to spend a few hours with friends. We each ordered a full tasting of all their wines, which was only $15. It felt like a really good amount of wine! And I liked most of the wines we got to try.
