Came by here the other day while in the area while waiting for a friend I was meeting for lunch next door. I wanted to check out their Zinfandels in stock. I did find a Michael David Earthquake Zin from Lodi, California, which I love, but nothing else really jumped out at me. I bought 3 bottles. I also checked out their tequila stock and they had a couple of decent additive free tequilas, but mostly the over priced celebrity garbage. However, they did have the Santo Fino, which is a celebrity Tequila, but better than most of the others and it is additive free. Anyway, overall they have what most people will want when shopping for wine and spirits, but not really what I would call a specialty liquor or wine shop with things you can't find anywhere else. read more

I stopped there after my wife and I went out for dinner, cause I thought maybe it was like a liquor store, where I'm from called premier where they had a very very wide selection of product. The store itself was very clean, but it was very very dimly lit. You could barely see the labels, and you can barely see the prices. From what I could see, they did have a very wide selection of bourbons, which for me was very good because I am a bourbon man, but they really need to increase the lighting in the store, so that you can actually see very well what they have. The cashiers when I went to check out, never asked me if I found everything I wanted they they just rang up what I brought to the counter and told me what the price was. I was actually looking for a specific brand, but they were not in the least bit concerned, whether I found it or not Please increase the lighting in your store so people can actually see what you have instead of you hiding what you have. read more

Two days ago when purchasing liquor I requested info on a rum I have purchased before and was fairly dismissed by one of the managers. The store carried a higher barrel brand of it, but the one I have purchased previously and possibly not at their store was not on the shelf. I simply asked if they carried it or were out of it and although the manager was not the one assisting me, she announced audibly "I've never heard of it -don't know what she's talking about." We have choices today where we spend our money and I will certainly take that into account my next purchase. Good customer service is what keeps customers loyal. I have found it at another local store and I'm currently purchasing a case. read more

When I came here I tried to check in on Yelp but they didn't even have a Yelp page so I created one for them! The employees are SOOOOO nice and helpful!!! The store is like a dream. IT'S MASSIVE. There's every type of liquor, beer, wine, you can imagine! We were stocking up for Memorial Day weekend and literally were in this store shopping for booze for an hour. We ended up spending over $300 on booze lmaooo but the amount we got was absolutely crazy. We had 2 cases full! The prices are really good too. They literally have everything here! Even cute wine gifts & bags (I love little stuff like that)!!!! If you come here you literally will not need to make any other stops afterwards. This place is awesome. The blonde woman who works here truly gives the worst customer service I've ever experienced. You'd think when someone wants to buy something in their store they'd be more helpful, but unfortunately that was not my experience. When I was ready to check out, she just looked at me and continued about her business as I patiently stood at the cash register (I'm the only customer in the store). She then proceeded to ring me up without looking at me or speaking to me, but instead chose to carry on a conversation with her friend I'm assuming. I would hope that this business wouldn't treat someone in such a rude, classless manner. Shame on her, and shame on Parkway. read more

I was in town visiting family and Parkway Wine and Spirits is their go-to store. I knew why as soon as I walked in. The selection is very thorough and the prices fair. The ambiance is unlike any other liquor store. The fact that I can even use the word ambiance with confidence when describing a liquor store should say it all. It feels more like an experience rather than a trip to buy booze. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I now compare all liquor stores to this one. I look forward to being back in town to visit this store again. read more

The store has a good selection of liquors and wines. Prices are good for some items but mostly a little high. Someone in this store needs to learn about customer service. I have never been greeted when I walk in and if I do ask a question or need help, the answers are typically curt and make have a condescending feel to them. I've never felt welcomed or appreciated here. I don't believe the glowing reviews here since I've never had a really positive experience here. read more

I have been to this store 3 times and all 3 times I hated myself for making a purchase in what I feel is a store full of racism. I am a well educated hard working person in the medical field and even in my uniform I was disrespected in this store all because of the color of my skin. The straw that broke the camels back was the store manager and register clerk showed a lack of respect by talking amongst one another and totally ignoring me and they made comments about trash needed to be taken out "right now". I was so humiliated and insulted. I do not recommend buying anything from this store. read more

Just wanted to give a shout out to the store manager, Cindy. I had to buy a lot of liquor and wine for Christmas gifts for work. I came in with my list and Cindy completely took control and made everything so simple. She even labeled the bottles with the names that were on my list. She helped me find names and labels I had never heard of, helped me pick out bottles and made friendly suggestions. Overall, it was a fab experience. This year we found it using Yelp, not remembering this was TGE place. Service is non existent and even rude. Lovely establishment and great selection. My husband and I have gone here for 3 years in a row to buy corporate gifts for each of our businesses and the owners and previous manager were fantastic. The owners would spend all the time in the world assisting with selections and giving informative background on the different liquor and wines. Just what you would want when purchasing a couple of thousand dollars in corporate gifts. This year no one spoke to me for the 45 minutes I was in there and so I decided to wrap it up and finish my shopping elsewhere. When checking out I might as well been at Walmart. Rushed and rude. The lady with the short dark hair probably shouldn't be working with the public. Her body language screams...I hate my job and I'm tolerating you at the moment. The kid who boxed the purchase did the best he could but again, he paid no attention to the order I was putting the bottles together in for gifts or even to make eye contact. It's a shame to see the experience lost that the former staff provided in years past. It had become a tradition for us we looked forward to. We won't be back unless the other staff works different days or hours and we happened to miss them. read more
