I drove over with my laptop ready for a diagnostic, only to find the door locked with no staff available. Their signage indicated they were open, and their online profile also showed open hours, which made the situation even more frustrating. I tried calling while I was there and got no answer, and this wasn't the first time, I had also called the week prior without anyone picking up. I even waited in my car for a while in case someone showed up, but no one ever did. It ended up being a complete waste of my time, especially since I made the trip specifically based on their reputation. I'm genuinely disappointed, as I was ready to move forward with repairs and give them my business.

I find Eddie, the owner, to be honest, knowledgeable, and fast when he isn't inundated with trying to please customers with his quick turnaround repairs. Personally, I dont worry about what time the store may open. I never go until I call to see if I can bring my stuff in. So, I have never had to wait. A small business such as UZ Tech Computers may have to open late due to some reasonable issues... Heck, you might even find a good deal on rebuilt computers, if you aren't too picky. I did. Bought a desktop years ago, and it has worked fine. If it had not, I'm certain that Eddie would take care of the issue... I HIGHLY recommend UZ Tech for repairs, on both cell phones and computers. But they did good work, in a few days, for a good price. Could not complain about that in the least. Also use some maps (Google, Bing or Yahoo) to see where this place is before you strike out. At that point, I was happy to leave with the ceramic base and light kit and although firing the base is included in the price "after Christmas", of course, I will instead visit a different store to complete the project. What a shame - I had hoped to revisit this store and begin additional ceramics projects here due to the proximity to my home and my interest in rekindling interest in ceramics since my recent retirement after a 40-year corporate career. I did not get my door installed until October and one of the doors was two inches two short. When I let him know he said he would make another one which took several months. We agreed that he should pay the installer to replace the door when it came time he said he could not pay and if I wanted my door I would have to pay the installer myself. After much back and forth with John and the installer I agreed to pay for it myself. The installer comes today with the door and it is the correct size but it was painted the wrong color. Like I cannot win with him. Honestly save yourself the headache or you might end up paying for more than you bargained for.
