One person in particular name Nick chooses not to call patients back help them with scheduling and I noticed that he prefers to wear his mask below his nose while there is a room full of patients.

I have been using the same dental insurance for years and I was never charge after a dental cleaning. I got charged getting out of my appointment about 70$ they say that it was something that my insurance don't cover. Well, a month later I got another bill for additional $45. Talking with my wife about it, she realized that a year ago we had to pay them over $1800 to repair a chipped tooth, we probably got screwed back then as well...Not going back to that place.

I had the radiograph set sent to their office and only when I was in the chair they started saying the radiographs were "grainy" and of sub par quality and that a full new set needs to be taken (costing hundreds of dollars more). I was only there for a routine teeth cleaning visit, no root canal, crown or even injection into the nerve roots was required. The female dentist refused to proceed with exam or cleaning unless I had a full new set of radiographs taken, subjecting me to completely unnecessary ionizing radiation when they had a full set including panoramic view taken less than a year ago. I feel this is a financially predatory practice policy that subjects the patient to unnecessary radiation. You should be able to trust your dentist, however, I would not trust them with any of their care recommendations after seeing how money focused they are with a routine teeth cleaning visit.

I lived in the Hickory Flat area for 15 years and my wife and I used them during that time. When we relocated to Cartersville in 2017, we started at a local dentist here, but after two years of emotional and physical torture, I decided to make the 40 minute drive back to Dameron, and boy, am I glad I did. What a difference. The office is beautiful and extremely well maintained. The staff is superb. The hygenists are wonderful, gentle and caring. I won't be going anywhere else from now on!

What we didn't know is that they kept trying to submit the claims to the old insurance instead of the new. Then one day as I was checking out with our kids for a routine cleaning, I was told at the front desk that we suddenly owed them $1000 from previous work. When I asked for an explanation, they said it was for unpaid insurance but couldn't at that exact moment even show me the billing history to justify it. They made me pay it and said they would get me the details. Turns out they never updated the insurance information. They claimed they tried to get a hold of us to tell us about this. The problem is, neither my wife or I ever had any phone call, voicemail, email, or letter about this from them for the 9 months it was going on. When I asked for an explanation of why we weren't made aware of this the multiple times we were in the office for other work since then, they realized the mistake but made no apology or took any accountability for costing us $1000. If we owed $1000 for that many months, you think they would have said something to us at either reservation or checkout during those other visits. They said it was past the point of resubmitting the claim to the correct insurer by the time they even brought it up to me and surprised me with the bill and made me pay it out of pocket. When I asked for a follow up, I received no call at all. The only time they reached out was to call and text trying to push us into making new appointments. That's all they care about.
