Yummy breakfast sandwiches--we had bacon, egg and cheese on a hard roll. Great service too. Local, family-owned, worth a stop!

We stopped here on the way to the airport and were immediately amazed with the customer service. John and Brady were phenomenal. We ordered the small Italian club with Chicken cutlet and the Vittorio. We also got a large Muffaletta with the olive salad on the side, pesto chips, mixed pickled veggies salad and a cannoli. We wanted to change since we were going to the airport so we had to use the restroom. That's where we encountered John. He is such a lovely man. He was so sweet and I enjoyed our conversation. My sister was throughly impressed with Brady's customer service. He made her feel at home and was very friendly. All of our food was good. They devoured the veggie salad on the car ride to the airport and we ate some of the sandwiches too. The portions are big and you can share. The 3 sandwiches we got were plenty for our family of 6 plus leftovers. Rossi Rosticceria Deli 45 S Clover St Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 (Review 50 in 2025 and 893 overall)

I work in town every now and then. On a cold Friday afternoon, I found this spot after a quick Yelp…read moresearch. It is located on a back street with not much activity, and I was able to find parking quickly, which is key when you are on a work break. As soon as I walked in, the smells and sights of an authentic Italian deli were exactly what you hope for. There is a menu with plenty to choose from and a pastry case that I already know I will be coming back to try next time. I went with the Blue Ribbon panini, and in about ten minutes I had a hefty sandwich wrapped and ready to go. When I sat down to eat and picked it up, it did not disappoint. Chicken cutlet, ham, honey mustard, roasted tomatoes, Swiss cheese, and great bread. Everything blended together perfectly. On the first bite, the chicken cutlet burned my mouth in the best way possible. The tomatoes and honey mustard tied it all together and made it incredibly satisfying. I could only eat half because it was such a heavy sandwich. My dad finished the other half and shared the same appreciation for a really good panini. The next time I am working nearby, I know exactly where I am going, and I will definitely be trying the cannoli and the black and white cookies. 5 out of 5 stars.

The bagels are fresh and delicious, and all of the ingredients on the bagel sandwiches taste delicious. There are always some specials, so take your time looking at the menu. They have some sandwiches that are hot, and others that are cold. The service is good. You walk inside and order at the counter, and then listen for your name/number. Wonderful exterior seating to enjoy a beautiful day and people watch.

So the watermelon lemonade they have is unsweetened but have liquid sugar to make up for it, which is nice since you can sightly sweet rather than other places where lemonades taste straight up like syrup. I got the bobo and let me say it's pretty much one-one with breakfast sandwiches you get a NYC bodega made with love. Eggs were runny, bacon was crispy and not charred ash, just the right amount of cheese as well and a crispy hashbrown patty like mc' Donald's. Plus got to love the hot sauce rack they have to customize your food, hot honey worked well. Also I notice someone there loves the label gun, since man everything was spelled out on the counters.

It is VERY small inside, I was expecting a bit more room. If you sit outside, it is backed up to a junkyard/car repair place which is not very quiet or pleasant. We ordered the veggie burger with fries, and a beef burger with fries. They will not allow you to sub a salad for the fries. I saw rave reviews about the house made veggie burger, but personally, I was not impressed, and thought it was bland. The burgers were big, and difficult to eat, so we had to cut them up. The fries are also large & house made, and were good. I ordered a tossed salad with chicken to go for my husband. Chicken was good, salad was basic (tomato, avocados and onions). To put this in perspective, the food was on the expensive side, so we expected more. The bakery items are delicious. All together, for the 3 meals, 3 drinks and 2 bakery items, it came to $110 (plus tip). This may be reasonable for some, I guess it depends on location. Rhinebeck does tend to be expensive. They seemed to be somewhat busy with to-go orders. I guess it's one of those places you just have to check out, and decide for yourself! It's not a place I plan to return to.

Very cozy and such an adorable spot. Love the fresh ingredients aspect that get sent in from far.read more
