Don't use this service, save yourself the time and trouble. I reached out several times about scheduling an appointment. When I was finally able to confirm, I was told that the appointment had been taken by someone else. I then asked for the next available day and was provided with a date. Then, the response I received back you can see in the screenshot below. I was then told I should just take service somewhere else and that they did not want to book my appointment. I spent a long time trying to do something nice for my mom and schedule a cleaning for her home and was left with this disappointing experience. Not only were there at least 30 text messages. I was planning on doing a chargeback because of all additional cleaning that was required for the cabinets and the owner's Yelp response to my initial review which was the only communication I had received from her until this week, but when I reached out to her via text to let her know, she offered to right this whole issue. Initially she offered a free general home clean, but I asked instead that she send a team to deep clean the remaining cabinets I hadn't moved my kitchen items into yet. Today two of her cleaners came in at noon and they worked until 3PM deep cleaning my cabinets. I was very specific on my expectations and so we did have to go through a couple passes to get the job done; however, I appreciated that they were willing to work with me--they even grabbed some of my cleaning supplies to ensure that they cleaned the cabinets to my satisfaction when I showed them after they wiped down a cabinet how dirty the cabinet still was. They also respected my guidelines for where to place their cleaning supplies and dirty rags (I moved in and am using the kitchen now and didn't want anyone's cleaning supplies on the places where I prepare my raw meats and fresh produce) The entire time, Jocilene would send me texts asking me to verify the work being done was to my satisfaction. To note: Jocilene and her team offered to vacuum and clean my floors, appliances, etc and the offer was appreciated, but I paid $500 for my cabinets--and wouldn't have done so if I didn't anticipate the level of effort required to do the job, so I passed on the offer. Still, they were willing to go above and beyond to ensure that I was happy. They did the work this second time around and I have no complaints. I wish this had been done in the first pass for the sake of time spent (I had to deep clean some of the cabinets myself) and frustration, but my satisfaction was guaranteed and per Jocilene, she would have fixed the problem immediately but she said she missed my feedback that I sent the original day when I complained about the cleaning I paid for not being done. Because of the patience and sincere effort of her team. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt. I'm reverting back to my original recommendation that folks who need just a general clean consider SC Cleaning. For move-in deep clean--especially if you aren't going to be present--I would strongly recommend that you work with the SC Cleaning team to ensure that they understand the requirements. Hired for a deep clean (actually a gift for my wife). It was easy to set up and they did a great job. I actually arranged almost entirely by text message, which was very convenient. The deep clean lived up to my wife's high standards. They cleaned the insides and outsides of cabinets, the fridge, the window interiors, the bathroom cabinets, furniture cushions, oven, etc. Yes, they did some of those cutesy things like fold the tissues in the tissues box into a bow - which our 3yo daughter very much appreciated. Took about 5 hours for our 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. Fine for us, just expect a deep clean to be pretty much all day. Small items were a bit rearranged on shelves and in cabinets - totally fine for us, just be aware that's gonna happen with a deep clean service. We have a small house with quite a few pets (three dogs--big shedders, a bird, and six rats). Neither my husband nor I are big house cleaners. We do vacuuming, etc. once in a while, but only do a thorough clean maybe once a year for a house sitter when we go on vacation. I finally called a professional service, and this one had such good Yelp reviews, it was going to be one of two we wanted to quote for us. They did not disappoint. The owner, Jocilene, came exactly at the time she said she would for the initial meeting. She gave us a price and we set up a time for the first initial deep cleaning. The plan was for 2 or 3 people to spend about 3 hours. Again, they came exactly when they said they would to the minute. They cleaned every room (except for the junk room that I put a note on the door not to clean). They pulled furniture out and cleaned under and behind. When I came home at the end of the day, my gosh what a difference! Now in all honesty, there were a couple of small things that they missed (one kitchen drawer, a couple of cobwebs on part of a ceiling). But those girls were cleaning for a full 7 hours (they arrived as I was leaving in the morning and left just as I came home). Keep in mind that a week ago, we had done our annual cleaning ourselves for a house sitter, so I didn't think the house was that bad. But there was so much they did. For example, we have an incredibly heavy entertainment system in the living room with an old clunky CRT tv in it. It's so heavy that once I attempted to move it for cleaning and vowed never again. I don't know how they did it, but all the dust bunnies and pet hair that was trapped in the space behind it are gone. Besides the normal stuff you'd expect like windows, sinks, tubs, floors, windowsills, carpets, etc, they also cleaned behind and under everything, including the spilled pet litter behind my rat cage. They also put away and organized items that were lying around. When I came home, I just walked around saying, "Wow. Wow." Just now I dropped something that rolled under the cabinet in the kitchen. Normally it would almost be too gross to pick up--covered in dust and pet hair. But there was not a single thing on it when I retrieved it--not a single pet hair or a spec of dirt. And, they wanted to charge us the same price they quoted for 3 hours even though it took them 7! My husband said, "You've got to be kidding" and gave them extra. We never did meet with the second company for a quote. When we met Jocilene, we both agreed SC Cleaning was the only company we needed to see. So we'll be using them for weekly cleaning from here on in. read more
