Used latex gloves in parking lot on a regular basis. No sanitizer. No hot water to wash clothes,only cold. Dryers seem to be turned down,takes a long time to dry clothes. read more

I disagree with the negative reviews for this place. It is small, but I have only once had to wait for a machine here. I will say that I usually go on a weekday, and I can imagine the weekends are much busier. As other reviews have stated, it is exceptionally clean (specifically the restroom). The employees are friendly, the machines are about average cost, and the establishment is open late-ish; can't ask for much more. Anyway, great spot. read more

Leaving for a trip I treated myself to a drop off. I picked up the items to discover they stank! They had not dried them completely!!! I had no time to re wash and the owner would not even credit me the exorbitant price I paid for stinky clothes or even credit the next washes. The guy who did that has since been let go (allegedly), he was also pretty snotty, but the owner made up a ridiculous excuse for the guy since she was "helping him". She ended up giving me a Laundry bag and I was so annoyed with her I just took it and left. I threw it out as it had their name on it. Not advertising for her! Go elsewhere if you can. read more

While they keep this place very clean and organized, it is always packed. Every time I have come here I have to wait for a washer or dryer. Many of the machines are taken by the staff doing "drop off" laundry. One would think they would have separate machines for that. The staff also always seem to act as if you are in their way and an are annoyed that there are people doing laundry. For those wanting to avoid the crowds and do drop off, I often see carts of clothing left unattended. I would not want my clothes left unattended if I was paying for drop off service. For about 15 years,I have used and been very happy with Woodstock Laundry. I'm very pleased with the way my clothes/linens are washed and folded. It's always ready when I come to pick it up. This week, I received a lovely surprise with laundry pickup. It was a small envelope with more than $20 tucked in the bag. The note said, "left in pockets." Isn't that nice? read more

This laundry mat is clean, convenient and fast. The same day drop off wash and fold is fairly priced and a life saver. I was impressed with how kind and professional the staff is and the careful way our laundry was tended to was so much better than in our home town of San Francisco. Highly recommend. read more

Kudos to Woodstock Laundry for saving me when my washer was out of commission! The facility was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the equipment was efficient. The attendant on duty took her time to help me out with selecting a machine to do my king size quilt---which I went back to do even after my home machines were up and running again! Another perk was the free wifi and snack machines!!! I was able to sit, relax, and entertain myself while I waited for my laundry! I would recommend using Woodstock Laundry for weekly laundry, or those items that are just too big for your home machines!! read more

Did a great job with drop and fold. Brought my own detergent. They even found stuff in pockets and put it in a little envelope. Prices were good and they weighed it after it was done since stuff was wet. read more

Not the worst laundromat around, but it's very small so often crowded. My one big complaint is that the employees clean while the place is open. I have to say that the space is very clean, but who wants to fold laundry while the person working is sweeping up a storm around you and spraying everything in sight? read more

First let me start with: the reviews do not do this place any justice. Woodstock Laundry not only deserves another star on each review below, but also deserves SO much more credit. For someone who has traveled the world, I have to admit that this laundromat is, by far, the cleanest, friendliest laundromat that I have ever been to. And even that is an understatement. Let's put it this way-- you have to really 'wow' me to get me onto Yelp to write a review. The attendants bring my mothers laundry out to her car --each and every time -- solely because they understand it's difficult for her to carry it... now that is not something you see very often. I love the drop off service (not even my mother used to fold the clothes so perfectly). Price is great - atmosphere is relaxed - and attendants are always a pleasure. The only downfall ....they don't have another laundry place in Saugerties so my mother wouldn't have to drive the few extra minutes ;-) If you aren't familiar with this place, take the time to check it out! The ladies on the staff are very friendly, professional, and do great work but the owner is dismissive, irresponsible, and dishonest . After patronizing this business for over six months, I got a call from the owner that my Moroccan caftan along with a sweater had been damaged by one of the machines. She was reluctant to compensate me the full value of the pieces, and would only give me $70 in "store credit" for a caftan that I purchased overseas and was worth over $250. I asked the owner to return the damaged clothing items in the hopes that I could salvage them which she agreed to do. Weeks go by, I continue to inquire about the return of the damaged items at the store and the staff inform me that the pieces are still at the owner's house. I finally get a call from the owner months later and she claims that there was a "misunderstanding" and that she threw my clothing away. Even after I had made it clear that I wanted them back and inquired at the store multiple times about them. She denied any culpability and made it seem as if the loss of the items was my fault. Ultimately, I lost an irreplaceable piece that I was not fully compensated for and I will never patronize this business again. A shame. They throw your clothes away!! Don't wash your valuables here. read more
