The owner of the farm, Mr. King, leads the tours imparting valuable insights into alpaca life and what roles alpacas play being part of the camelid species. The tour begins with brief introductions while attendees feed the farm's chickens. Next, the tour enters a fenced in enclosure and guests form a circle. The juvenile alpacas are familiar with these procedures and eagerly approach and eat from the palms of your hands. Another worthwhile moment is having visitors being introduced to an adult llama. Mr. King starts with a quick demonstration and then all participants take turns mouth-to-mouth feeding the llama. It feels rewarding accepting playful nibbles from such a docile animal. One of the better highlights is having the opportunity to hug a baby alpaca. It's a great way to end the encounter on such an uplifting note. There was live music, happy hour drink specials, food trucks, activities for kids and a petting zoo. My favorite part was picking sunflowers and taking pictures at all the cute photo spots around the farm. I didn't get a chance to pick blueberries, but I'll definitely be back the next time they are in season. I did get a fresh blueberry doughnut and it was delicious! Parking was easy, the workers were all so friendly, and the whole place had a fun, welcoming vibe.

We took our 4 month old daughter to the zoo for a fun afternoon to see the animals! This zoo is the…read moreperfect size for small children and families as you can stay for a few hours and still feel like you have seen everything! It was HOT the day we decided to go so we only stayed for a couple of hours. I do wish there was more shade on pathways, and fans and/or covered spaces to take a break from the Florida heat. We thankfully found a spot by the black bear exhibit that was air conditioned and had only two chairs, so I could feed our daughter. There were MANY other moms that came in looking to also feed their kids and it turned into a waiting game as we had to take turns using the two chairs in that building to sit and feed our babies. The animals were neat to see, because it was so hot a lot of the animals weren't out or were in shady places within their enclosure. I liked that there were zoo workers and volunteers near many of the exhibits that were available to answer questions and provide more information about the specific animals there. Overall we had a great time with our daughter and look forward to bringing her back again in the future.

I live 3 hours away and purchased an experience for my family to enjoy while in the area overnight. The night before, they informed me by email that they would be canceling "due to weather". After multiple attempts to call them to discuss, I had to go back-and-forth with a very rude woman via email. I explained that because we had come from out of town we were willing to come "rain or shine", noting that their website states they operate "rain or shine". She cited lightning as the reason they would be closing, which would be completely understandable if it weren't the freaking night before and you don't know that there will be lightning at that time. Due to their complete lack of consideration, I attempted to dispute their charge with my credit card company and the "farm" refuted it, stating I had purchased a nonrefundable ticket. Obviously that is a fact, but THEY canceled the event (based on the reviews, I should have paid attention to prior to purchasing, this is a common tactic of theirs ) with no reasonable alternative. $200 down the drain, but I will not be quiet about it.

We loved the alligators, the exciting shows, the snakes, all the entertainment, and all the beautiful birds. Everything kept our family entertained throughout the day. We also got to feed these small alligator. Around midday, a little rain came through, and it actually made the day even more enjoyable by cooling everything down. It was perfect! If you have little ones, I highly recommend visiting Gatorland. It's a fun, family-friendly place with something for everyone. We made wonderful memories and will definitely be coming back!
