Terrible attitude and I'll never return. Brought a snowblower in because it had a gas leak. Put it on my trailer and drove it 12 miles from the North side of Holland to Woody's SMALL ENGINE REPAIR in August and this is how it went... OWNER: What do you need? ME: I have a Airen snowblower with a gas leak. OWNER: We don't do snow until October. ME: I just drove it here from Holland. OWNER: Well you can just drive it right back to Holland. The man was rude as the day is long, and I'll never return. So I drove it right over to Westonbroek Equipment in Holland where they cheerfully took in my machine in for service. Brought in my edger. Had my pull string replaced and they tuned it to add more power. In and out in 30 minutes.

Great job here! The pick up and drop off is a little expensive, but I don't have a truck so I can't really complain. But, they returned my mowers looking like new! I'm anxious to see how they do next summer! They did a cleaning, tune up, and blade sharpen on two mowers for what I thought was a very reasonable price. read more

Have used Woody's for work on my snowblower & chainsaw and they do a nice job at a competitive price. Be aware they are very busy and often a 2-3 week, or longer, wait for work to be done. Just yesterday was dropping off my chainsaw for a minor repair and they gave me a quick 3 minute tip on how I might fix it myself, with the right tools, and I ended up doing so. Would have been easy for them to say 'just leave it and we'll get to it when we can', but didn't, and instead helped me address the problem. read more

I tried out Woody's based on a referral when my snow blower auger stopped working yesterday. Kim was polite and helpful on the phone. They were able to come right over, pickup the machine, repair it, do an oil & spark plug change and return it to my home all in the same day. When I got home from work I was all set to finish up my driveway. It was about $70 for the oil change, plug and the repair plus $50 for the pickup and drop off. These folks were amazing. Came and picked up my 26" Snowblower within 4 hours of calling. Had the snowblower back three working days later. Fair pricing for a lot of work. Very friendly and courteous. Carefully explained all the work that they had done. Even avoided charging me for additional work I had authorized as they felt it was not needed. read more

we brought our mower in to Woodys. We asked that we be called for any estimates....3 weeks later we called and were told they were really busy and hadn't gotten to it yet. Another week went by and we called again and we were told it was all done. We didn't receive the call we asked for about the estimate before the work was done. When we mentioned this we were asked" well do you want us to take all the new parts off?' And that we must have not asked because "he was the one who took it and HE wouldn't forget that" Not to professional in our opinion. We picked up the machine and paid the bill. The attitude of the owner was very distasteful. On top of that we had a new problem with the mower we didn't have before we brought it in. Whenever we would run it and then stop it. We couldn't start the mower back up for about 20 minutes. I know its nice to "go local" but this place doesn't pay off. Find some place else read more
