He said to take it to O' Reilys auto parts Weiser Idaho store and have them plug in to the fault code reader. We did and found out we could make it another 2 hours home. The owner of Weiser towing steered us into the right direction without taking advantage of us. He stated he would rather look us into the eyes than his shoes... He could have taken advantage of our situation and put in an alternator and a new sensor plus tow charges . We are pretty broke and have plenty of credit cards to already pay off. Thanks so much. I called multiple companies to tow me out. Shane was the only person who asked if I was okay. It was that simple gesture alone that made me pick his company over anyone else. It took him all day but he was able to navigate the back roads to get my car out. Shane communicated with me throughout the entire process and allowed me to get all my stuff out of the car later back at his shop. This company tried to tow my truck while i was in a business in the same parking lot, i was parked…read morein a regular spot, not marked with any signs warning of towing. again it was the same parking lot. luckily i caught the guy before he could drive off, asked why am i being towed. another business hired them to do it. at the time i was there less then 20 min. it was the same parking lot with no signs or warning. when i asked how much to drop my truck he did not know the fee to drop it. i tried to call the number on the truck and it went straight to voicemail. the driver said he thought it was a $140, this is absolutely wrong! i was there for business using a company in the same parking lot. i will be reporting them to all sites and the BBB
