i never leave reviews but i cannot say enough good things about this business!! i was passing…read morethrough the area in my camper van and had a medical emergency that was going to put me in the ER. i pretty much burst into camp bow wow and asked if they could take my dog for the day or maybe longer. they were super accommodating, doing her evaluation on the spot and even willing to keep her in a separate enclosure after she passed (i worry she gets too overwhelmed/over-tired in play groups). i ended up having to stay in the hospital for 3 nights and they kept her for me that whole time. each time i called to keep them posted on my situation the staff were super accommodating and very friendly, seeming genuinely concerned that i just get better. they gave my pup their house food each day and told me they had people play individually with her, even tho i'm not sure that's usually a service they offer. i think some boarding facilities care more about money/the business than the dogs they look after, but i could really tell that camp bow wow is not one of those places. every staff member i interacted with clearly loves dogs and they all want the dogs to have the best time while under their care. would recommend to anyone looking for a boarding place in boulder!!

All went well the day of the procedure but he was recovering very slowly. He didn't eat, hardly drank any water, wasn't pooping and was very restless, in contrast to his normal behaviors. VCA called every day and when he still wasn't progressing the second day post-op they had us come in, on a Friday evening. Dr. Luegers did an awesome job of evaluating the kitty and educating me, encouraging and managing my expectations. All of the staff were also amazing, even though it was Friday evening and I'm sure they'd had a long week; no one made us feel rushed or like they just wanted to go home, although I'm sure they were happy when they could go! The kitty perked up and started eating again after we got home. By the time we went to sleep he was eating, drinking, peeing and pooping. He finally relaxed and curled up purring on my chest, just as he normally does. It's the next day, he's about 93% of his baseline and still progressing, I'm confident he'll be 100% by tonight. Just wanted to say how awesome the doctors and staff are at Arapahoe Animal Hospital. Twinkie, our…read moreterrier mix, became suddenly deathly ill on a Sunday. . My regular vet at Arapahoe was not in that day, so we saw Dr. Califf. Dr. Califf diagnosed Twinkie with pancreatitis, hepatitis, colitis, an inflammation in her liver and kidneys and gallbladder. She was extremely dehydrated so we left for there to be treated. Dr. Califf updated me every few hours with Twinkies care. After three days we got to take her home and continued her treatment and meds at home for 2 weeks. Her follow-up yesterday showed that all of her blood levels are now normal, and she is doing great! Thanks to Dr. Califf and the awesome, compassionate care she got, Twinkie has her spunk back. So grateful to them all!

So while we considered this a fantastic and reputable option in Grand County, I now have to say I find this business a bit unethical.

The staff is wonderful, caring,loves dogs, diligent. My dog Peyton came to us as an adult rescue and had some issues. HH willingly accepted him -- he cannot be in the general dog population, and they have a program just for that! Enrichment: He plays and trains with people all day. He can't wait to go when it's daycare time.He loves it and all the staff. Makes it so much easier to board him too knowing he is getting the best care and having a good time. HH sends you a report card during boarding with pics and how things are going. I can't thank HH enough for all they have done for us. They are the BEST.
