In the past, he's hated his groomers and cries and howls when we show up. I have no question that Kaylie takes good care of him. I've showed up to pick him up and she'll be cuddling him in one arm while grooming another dog with the other. She treats him how we treat him and that means so much to us. If you want the best doggie haircut in Central Oregon and a warm heart who will adore your furbaby, go here. She won't let you down.

She has some great pictures on her website and we used a couple of those to show her what we wanted and then Terri asked us some important questions about our little guy - things we never would of thought to ask but were really important. Jack came home smelling great with a perfect cut and most importantly he was happy! Not stressed or upset, he had energy and you could tell he felt so good and pampered. Jack doesn't like getting his legs brushed or groomed, Terri noticed and still did a great job on his legs and feet. He doesn't particularly like to be put into a kennel when he's done either, like his old groomer use to do and when my husband got there to pick him up, he was sound asleep, laying on the floor next to Terri as she groomed another dog! We have absolutely found our new groomer!

Choosing High Desert Labradoodles was truly the best decision our family could have made. Working…read morewith Dakota was an absolute dream from start to finish--her communication was transparent, thoughtful, and kept us feeling informed and supported every step of the way. We came to Dakota after experiencing the heartbreaking, traumatic loss of a puppy from a different breeder. Because of that, walking into this process required an enormous amount of vulnerability, and we desperately needed safety, comfort, and uncompromising health standards. Dakota gave us all of that and more. We were able to trust her completely, and that trust was reinforced when our local vet--who also happens to treat Dakota's own dogs--had nothing but glowing, incredible things to say about her and her program. Having that direct professional validation brought us immense peace of mind. Most of all, Dakota's ability to match the right puppy to the right home is unmatched. We have a busy household with a toddler and an older dog, and our puppy's temperament couldn't be a more perfect fit. She is sweet, gentle, and has integrated seamlessly into our daily rhythm. For a young puppy, she has been remarkably easy--she is already sleeping through the night, almost entirely potty-trained, and brings so much light to our home. Dakota didn't just provide us with an amazing, healthy pup; she helped heal our hearts. We cannot recommend High Desert Labradoodles highly enough!

High Desert Labradoodles produces one litter at a time, raising puppies in their home, with an incredible focus on their wellbeing, temperament and socialization. Dakota's philosophy and commitment to both the mother and puppies is unmatched. Each puppy, from birth through the careful matching process with each home, is gently and deliberately handled, loved and socialized. The puppies are loved on by her wonderful family, including her two daughters, which was a large bonus for our family. We were looking for a family dog, which Australian labradoodles are well known as, but being raised from day one around and handled by smaller hands was a wonderful asset. Dakota runs such an ethical, mindful business. She is wonderful and was happy to answer any questions I had before our puppy was born, in the eight weeks our puppy was in her care and even when we took our puppy home. Everywhere we go, our petite girl Granger (from Leo and Dory's litter), receives numerous compliments on her temperament, looks, and affectionate nature. I am constantly asked to give the name of our breeder and happily share High Desert Labradoodles name every time. Granger was potty trained and sleeping fully through the night within 10 days of coming to our home, a true testament to the extra effort High Desert Labradoodles and Dakota put into working with the puppies. I highly recommend High Desert Labradoodles!
