My college buddy's niece plays Division One basketball for Lehigh. So when we saw that Lehigh would be playing at Holy Cross, it seemed like a golden opportunity to reconnect, spend a few hours catching up, and watch some high quality college basketball. I've always had a warm spot in my heart for Worcester. That's where I started my professional career when I was assigned there in the late 70's. We lived in Worcester and Shrewsbury for a decade before we relocated to Connecticut. Holy Cross offers an amazing ticket deal for the women's basketball games -a ticket, hot dog and a drink for just ten bucks. We bought the tickets through their website, tickets were e-mailed to us, and they scanned the QR codes on the tickets to get into the game. The refreshement stand had us on their "watch list" so we picked up our dogs and sodas without a hitch. The arena is beautiful and looks pretty modern. The scoreboard and video screens are top notch and they have fan participation activities for the kiddies during game breaks. All in all, the Hart Center gave us a solid consumer experience for a low budget price.

Nice basketball history from the 1940s and 1950's. Alumnus basketball great Bob Cousy was honored with a statue outside the Center, and some historic awards in their trophy cases including winning the NCAA Div 1 basketball tournament in 1947. Concessions give the basics.........
