Not so much a review of the park as is their WooSox ticket operation. It's a joke. I've booked team events at the Bruins, Red Sox, Celtics, and concerts and I've never encountered anything like this before. I was trying to treat our entire department crew to a fun night out and not have to worry/pay for Boston parking so I figured Worcester might be easier. It was like pulling teeth trying to book a "luxury" suite. The greenhorn "representative" constantly had to be corrected about the game dates and then wanted me to pay without seeing an agreement. Lo and behold, the price was way more than I was quoted over the phone. All set, WooSox and Polar Park. Good luck with your ridiculously high prices. This was our second visit to Polar Park and it is a beautiful park. Everything is still new and clean. The first time we went we had lawn seats and we had so much fun, everyone was so friendly and we had the awesome Adirondack chairs to sit in. The only drawback to the lawn seats is the sun, it got pretty brutal. This time we had tickets for seats and it wasn't as fun, but we were in the shade. All the concessions and very expensive. Pizza 9.25 a slice (and it wasn't especially good), the beer was very expensive so my husband only got one and bottles of water were very expensive. I would recommend eating somewhere near the park before you go in, there's plenty of great spots around there. read more

I had a great time here at Polar Park! It was my first time here so didn't know what to expect. I was blown away...think of a smaller scale Fenway Park with more reasonable prices and you're up close to the game. Park is still pretty new so it's in great condition. Tickets are inexpensive and you have great views no matter where you are. Many concession options and honestly the food was really good, and not too expensive. Hot dog, ice cream and polar park soda were all yummy. And as I mentioned before, it's like a mini Fenway, layout and all. They also have many tables with free goodies from snacks to other swag from different companies. I even got to participate in the scrub a dub race where I won a free car wash. Wasn't expecting this much cool stuff tbh! It's such an interactive game so it makes it more enjoyable I think. Enjoyed my first Woo Sox experience, will be back!!! read more

I am from Pawtucket. McCoy is in my DNA. But... I have to and hate to admit this is a nice park. Clean, the space is well designed. Plenty of food option sporadically arranged throughout the park. Beer options. Live music in the berm. A playground (which I am a little against because hey the kids need to get into the game!) Berm seats were cheap ($10) but watching the game from the berm was like watching big ants. Lots of kids moving around- hard to focus on the game. The area right around the stadium needs some work. My little guy loves baseball so we will be back and I will continue to wear my Pawsox jersey. read more

First time at Polar Park was for a company awards event. Parking was easy and convenient. Food was provided by the park which included hamburgers, bbq chicken, nachos and appetizers. Alcohol drinks were available at a cash bar, but a bit over priced ($11 for a 16 oz beer). Overall it was a fun venue. read more

Polar Park is roughly 30 minutes from my house. It is a beautiful baseball stadium. It has completely revitalize the area around the ballpark. It has become a mini version of Fenway Park with a vibrant neighborhood around it. You get to see AAA baseball. Most nights you can get into the park by buying stealing room seats for nine dollars and choosing your seat in the park. Parking is easy. The stadium is easy to get in and out of. "Woo hoo, woo hoo hoo" (Woo Hoo by the 5,6,7,8's) If you're a fan of the amazing Kill Bill Volume I, you no doubt know this bizarre song, who's only lyrics are the endlessly repeated "Woo hoo, woo hoo hoo". But the word "woo" can also means something different to baseball fans, as in the name of the WooSox, a nickname for the Worcester Red Sox of the AAA Eastern League. And what stadium is the home field for the WooSox? That would be Polar Park. It was opened in 2021, can seat 9,500 fans, and earned it's name through naming rights purchased by a local beverage company. We lived in Worcester when were married back in the late 70's, so it was a very nostalgic visit back yesterday, made all the better by this beautiful ballpark and the fan friendly environment inside and outside. Worcester has done a fantastic job ringing the stadium with parking lots and plenty of restaurants and saloons. Hartford should take notice of what Worcester has done. I loved seeing so many of the old school Worcester restaurant names being honored at their food stands -Wonder Bar Pizza, George's Coney Island Dogs, and Table Talk Pies just to name a few. We sat in the 8th row on the between home plate and first base and had a fantastic clear view of the action. Every inning, there was some sort of kid friendly activity or T Shirt toss or guessing game. There was music before the game, and the same young guitarist played the national anthem à la Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock. Congrats WooSox, congrats Polar Park and congrats to the City of Worcester on doing such an excellent job to revitalize the city. read more

Drove an hour and a half to go to a game only to arrive to find the garage and all nearly lots full. Had to turn around and drive another hour and a half back home. My first and last visit to Polar Park. The Tickets were given to me by my work as part of their recognition program. Visited Polar Park for the 13th game of the Worcester Red Sox Inaugural season. Loved the park. Lots of places to get food/drink, they have an actual walk up bar for those who just want beer, and a craft beer tent area. They also have a food market which sells beer in cans, premade sandwiches and wraps, hats, and candy. It's sort of self checkout although they have employees there to help with the process and make sure minors aren't buying the beer. Line moves very fast for those who don't want to wait in a long line at the regular style concession stands. All the concession stands I saw were cashless, not sure if this is permanent or due to Covid times. There is a large team store on the ground floor and another small location in the main concourse behind home plate. The park has great sightlines, no obstructed views that I could find. The crowd was full of spirit, you can tell they love having the team here. The CSX train tracks are directly behind center and left field and the engineers add to the spirit sometimes by blowing the whistles as they pass by. Union Station train/bus terminal is within a 10 - 15 minute walk from the stadium. Not sure how the train/bus times would work out with game times but the potential is there. I had mixed feelings about the team moving out of Pawtucket RI but this stadium and team are a solid addition to Worcester. Check it out. read more

Family reunion at the Woosox/Syracuse Mets game was a huge success. Great food, terrific seats, and wonderful service. As we were walking to our parking lot, a Polar Park employee in a golf cart told all five of us to hop in and then drove us several blocks to our cars. I misplaced my cell phone that day but it was recovered before the end of the game. A fantastic experience. read more

At polar park, i couldn't believe how convenient it was for me w a cane to get to this. Elevators just past the entry doors. The event was 'Battle of the Bands' under 2nd floor covered roof. The food was basic & simple, the drinks were great. The park was clean. I would definitely go back for other events. I liked being under a covering in case of rain, and if you want to avoid summer sun burns, being under the roof up high is airy. The bathrooms were spacious and very clean. I was impressed, as i had grown up the street from this place, to see what they did with this area. Worcesters cleaning up the forgotten areas, adding restaurants w all kinds of tastes. Believe me when i say it used to be just pizza places and chinese food in the 60s and 70s. Worcester has lots to offer now. I miss the old parks, but this new ball park is excellent. I grew up on polar soda and table talk pies. I'll never forget when my mom walked me downtown thru kelly square, said bend down and touch, it was a trolley track in a cobbled stone road, just before the old kelly square pizza. Polar park is a great minor league stadium. I expected the food to be cheaper. It was as much as a major league stadium but at least it wasn't just plain ballpark food. They have done a great job curating local places. We got a few George's coney dogs, found our seats and sat through a sort of boring game. We stayed because it was fireworks night and they definitely put on a good show. The only downside was the show ended abruptly when the fireworks started a small fire. read more

This review is specific to the DCU Club and not the park as a whole. Polar Park is a beautiful ballpark with an amazing amount of family friendly food and drink options. I would rate the park 5 star. I sat in the DCU seats which by design are meant to be the higher end seats in the park. Seats were super comfortable. We sat in the 1st row which was nice from a foot room standpoint but the railing along the wall obstructed the view of the hitter. There were some small sections of poly glass on the first row so it's unclear why that wasn't used throughout. The seats were advertised as having in seat waitress service and unique food options. The in seat service was non-existent in section 206. Our waitress came to our seats as soon as we sat down, clearly seeing the full drinks we brought from inside, and never returned again through the 7 innings we stayed. Inside the Club was no better. There was one bar with only two bartenders serving for the entire Club section. The rest of the servers were busy trying to get drinks for those in their seats. Food could only be ordered at your seat, which was a challenge since the wait staff was missing most of the game. The Club section is beautiful, great seating and very clean. But for the premium price you expect premium service. We didn't receive it tonight. We made our way to the main concourse to get quicker and more available food and drink options. DCU Club needs more staff, a few kiosks for drinks outside of the main bar, and food that can be grab and go. You shouldn't have to pay a premium to wait all game to be served. read more

Two years in and already going downhill. I really miss the PawSox. Don't bother paying for the DCU club tickets. The service is awful and the food options are half what they were last year. And the food here is awful, anyway. They brought the team to Worcester to make the city better and all that happened was it just made the AAA experience worse. Been to Polar Park for several games so far this season and I have enjoyed it every time. There are a lot of parking options to choose from and the prices are pretty reasonable. The Park itself is awesome, plenty of food options, the concourses are roomy with tables to sit at and eat your food if you don't want to eat at your seat and you'll be able to still watch the game because they have TVs everywhere showing the game . I'm looking forward to coming to Polar Park for other functions like concerts or other sporting events. read more
