Locally- owned card store that has a fun mix of cards, stationary and gift items. The owner, Jill, is super sweet and helpful. Can't wait to stop back and support this gem.

Wordshop is the cutest little shop so much! All the cards are super cute and they also have other stuff like stuffed animals, jewelry, candles, and so much more! Basically a one stop shop for gifts! They also do personalized cards for stuff like weddings. Can easily find street parking. You may not want to go on Sunday when the farmers market is going on (unless you are going to the farmers market too) since parking will be hard to find. Definitely will be returning. Prices are a little steep for cards (around $6 per card) but totally worth it to support a small business!

LOVE the variety of eclectic prints and stationary you can get here. The owner is a sweet man with a an awesome sense of humor that's reflected in inventory. An art-deco theme permeates the store bringing just enough sophistication to inappropriately hysterical greeting cards. The planners, framing, and jewelry are gorgeous the baby onesies and children's sections are anything BUT kiddy and kitschy (sp?), and I always walk out with far more cards than I come in for! *Quality find for stocking stuffer needs*

I walked in for an appointment to pick out wedding invitations and THE FIRST thing I noticed was a card, with a pair of hairy balls tacked to a bulletin board. I didn't get a chance to read the message before I was greeted and taken over to the wedding invitation area. I looked around for another minute or two at the Save the Date cards and one caught my eye. Written in beautiful, fancy font: This Is Really Fucking Important. Although I think most of my family members wouldn't approve of a cuss word on my invitations, I knew this was the shop for me! We sat down with Jill? (I'm terrible with names) and we were pretty much done with our invitations in less than an hour. She helped us come up with color schemes, wording, and all sorts of ideas. She also did a great job keeping it within our budget. We have been procrastinating on everything but she didn't make us feel bad about being late to the invitation game. We still need some more information from our families to complete our invites, so she sent us home with some "homework" and hopefully we'll have our invitations ready to print by next week! I'm actually EXCITED to go back and see paper. Wordshop does a fabulous job of making seemingly boring things--like paper colors and word fonts-- fun.

Brilliant gift idea and so cute!

This store is my new go-to for funky cool gifts. I see a lot of the same items in boutiques but this one was fresh and full of new, cool, unique items. There are a lot of perfectly inappropriate gifts. I bought a crazy awesome ring with terribly inappropriate words on it and I wore it to a party and all my friends want one now! Go check it out!!

Paper product heaven

I have an odd obsession with paper products -- some might say it's getting out of control, but that's neither here nor there. So I was lucky to find this place in the Highlands. Wordshop is a little haven tucked away right off of 32nd on Lowell. It's a quaint store, filled with a variety of unique and whimsical greeting cards, delightful notebooks, splendid journals, and charming knick knacks. I loved wandering around the shop, it's filled with little surprises including some awesome locally made t-shirts. The girls in the store were super friendly and I can't wait to go back!
