Fast, friendly, informative service. Very fair price for labor & parts/products used - will definitely recommend ;o)

After Harvey, the contractors that worked on the house stomped all over the vents and when bought the house we knew it would have to be fixed as the seller did a poor job 'repairing' it for closing. Billy and Nick from Davis and Son came out for a quote and we agreed to move ahead. They got it all done in one day and cleaned up the attic space better than before. Our ac is now running a thousand times better. We were very impressed with their work.

He changed the capacitor, added Freon and billed me $173.00. The house started cooling down and I took a much needed nap. When I woke up it was 85 degrees in my home. I checked the air handler, which he never even looked at, and the fins were frozen over. I called him back to let him know what was going on. He said I needed a new unit and told me the Freon must have leaked out. I asked him why he had not tested for leaks before adding the Freon and he said he just didn't. It was obvious that he did not plan on coming back so I said "So I just wasted $173.00 for nothing!". He said pretty much and these things happen! I will be reporting him to the EPA and just wanted to warn anyone else who might be contemplating using his services. I am on a fixed income as many seniors are and I can ill afford to be ripped off. SHAME on you Mr. Davis!
