I can't say anything bad about the service from this company. First, they're LOCAL! My insurance company tried to link me with a repair service out of Santa Clarita who quotes me service call for Saturday when it's Tuesday and 100°+ weather. Not happening. Second, Donald the repair man is awesome. Explains the problems and fixes them quickly! He's not what you'd imagine but totally gets the job done. Told us to call them back if anything else happens. So this place comes off professional but that's not the case.... I called them to relocate and install two thermostats. The techs came out, informed that the job could be done, and that Dean would call me back to give me an estimate. I called a few hours later and spoke to Dean who attempted to sell me better thermostats ( more money for the job) and later in conversation he tells me that he'd call me back before the end of the day... Never did. I call them back approximately 5-8 times the following two weeks, leave voicemails and no response. I'd appreciate transparency but what ticks me off is that some random people come into my home, spend time in my bedroom and attic and then I get no follow up. Would never want to do business with them in the future got the work done elsewhere and I guess the only positive thing that transpired from this is I got a free inspection. I left a message with Ace on a Friday evening when the heater at our rental property wasn't working. Dean called me back about an hour later and was able to squeeze us into the schedule on Saturday. He gave us a 2 hr window which he missed by about 45-60 minutes. However, once he got there, he quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. He had previously advised me that the service call would be $55 (credited toward the cost of any necessary repairs). Turns out the fuses for the furnace were blown so it was a relatively simple repair that cost me $75. Seemed like a fair price. Overall, I'm pretty happy with them. The only ding was them being late but it's hard to really fault them on that since it's difficult to estimate how long their previous jobs will take. read more

Kudos to Ace for getting the job done! After my home warranty company assigned my call to another provider who couldn't get to me for a week (who wants to wait a week for A/C when it's 100 degrees outside?!?!) my call was assigned to Ace. Within an hour or so I got a call and was scheduled for the next day. Later in the afternoon I received another call and was asked if I was available at that time and they would send somebody out right away, rather than making me wait until the next day. Kudos to Kyle who diagnosed the issue in a matter of minutes (and killed two black widows in the process!), replaced the fan motor on the condenser, the capacitor and added a power boost (no waiting for parts!). Within less than 45 minutes my AC was back up and running. He gave me some good tips on how to care for the condenser since it sits outside on the west side of the house and gets the full force of the wind. Great customer service! read more

No One answers the phones, retuning calls is apparently out of the question. Was given the window of 8-12. No one came No call even though I called multiple times and left messages as I do not have the whole day to waste and yes it is 105+ degrees out. An hour and a half later, oh we should of called I don't know when we can come out maybe later or tomorrow? I understand that jobs run long sometimes etc but thats where communication comes in. Sorry losers I am not going to waste a whole day to see if you may or may not show up again or a complete different day (bday) to see if you will even honor that appointment. Shortly after I purchased my home in 2010 I decided to change out my air conditioning and heating system to energy efficient. I called ACE and spoke with Dean. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. At that time there were several different rebates, etc and Dean was so helpful he even got all the paper work ready for me so that I could take advantage of all the savings. One Sunday I could not get my air conditioner to work. I called Dean. He just so happened to be in my area when I called and even though it was his day off he swung by my home real quick. It ended up being something I had messed with on my thermostat that caused the problem. It took him 5 seconds to figure it out and he left without charging me. In my opinion Dean is an excellent business man. read more

These guys get TEN stars!! My Home Warranty company sent out a bunch of clowns from SeaBreeze A/C. Two guys came out, spoke Russian to each other the whole time even after I asked them not to, and spent no longer than 20 minutes at my house. They looked in my attic (2 minutes) and said I needed a new evap coil. My Home Warranty company said that Sea Breeze did a leak check and confirmed I needed an evap coil and my out of pocket (non covered) costs would be $1,600 paid directly to them. Knowing a little about A/C systems I knew this was bogus. I demanded that my Home Warranty company give me a second opinion and that's how I met Kyle from ACE. He really did a leak check and found a very small leak outside at the condenser King Valve. Kyle fixed it in 20 minutes and now the air out of my vents is 50 degrees. And BTW, no out of pocket costs! These guys are honest, fast, and will spend some time explaining and answering questions. They could have bumped it up and charged for extras but they didn't. Dean, I believe the owner, worked the schedule to get me cool in less than 24 hours. Great Company, Great Ethics, Great Service!! read more

Paid $450 for a motor last summer. AC unit stopped working and we sent out someone else. They said they didn't use the right size motor and we had to replace it for $150, they didn't replace the fan right and it broke completely off, didn't put it all back together right and there were screws missing off all the parts. Overcharged and we ended up having to replace everything one year later for a lower cost. Called to talk about it and the secretary was rude to me as if we did something wrong. read more

Amazing service. They came out and fixed our A/c unit when it when out last summer. The tech was fast, informed and explained the problem and solution to me. So when I decided to change my thermostat because it's SUPPOSED to be a 20 minute easy DIY, but really I ended up blowing the fuse in my furnace I called ACE. 8 am this morning I called and a tech was sent out in an hour. Yes it's an easy fix, but I have 2 small girls and my furnace is in the attic of my 2 story house. He was fast, checked out my whole system and gave me the blown fuse. I am so grateful I won't have to sleep in a house that is 30 degrees tonight. read more

I've called several places looking to get my 2 ac's serviced. I was referred to ace by a friend, so I called to get a quote, for a service just to keep up on the maintenance and make sure everything is running smoothly. The lady that I spoke with said they can get someone out to me tomorrow, when I told her I just wanted a service check and that nothing was actually wrong with my 2 units she then changed her mind and said they are really busy and refused to even give me a quote. I'm appalled with the lack of customer service here. Just because my units aren't broken and they won't make a fortune off of me they don't want my business at all?? Ok so i now scheduled an appointment somewhere else. I would never recommend these people. read more
