Best customer service here! Very clean, airy, organized, AMAZING SELECTION, huge variety, smelled so clean in here. The ladies and gentlemen who work here are courteous, professional, respectful. They definitely gained an entire family of customers!

When I travel for business, I try to carve out an hour or two if I can, and look up the nearest fabric store on Yelp. So I was happy last week when I noticed World Class Textile pop up in my search. I had just over an hour to spare, so I zipped over there. Little did I know how monstrous this store is! It's not one, but TWO giant rooms stacked literally floor to ceiling with fabric. Most of which is on a roll (though some are folded). It's mostly upholstery fabric and apparel fabric here, although they also had pretty much everything else you could want, too. The trick is you need to have time to do some major digging and shuffling around of the rolls to find what you want. But it's probably in there...somewhere! Luckily, the rolls are well-organized by fabric type, and many are even hanging on wall racks. Besides fabric, they also sell thread, zippers, trim, and a few other accessories - though if you're looking for specific notions this is probably not the place to find them. Very few items are priced, so you will have to ask one of the helpful employees who roam the store. To be honest, as a first time visitor, this place was a bit intimidating. After looking around, I decided I might just get their website name and buy online when I got home. I asked, and they don't do online sales. So I skedaddled back to the vinyl section and grabbed some yardage ($10/yd!) of a few prints I'll try out for bag-making. What this store lacks in charm it definitely makes up for in selection. If you're making bridal or formal wear projects, or doing some home decor, this should be your very first stop on your fabric buying journey.

Nice little shop with a wide variety of fabric at affordable price. Friendly staff. Parking is a little messy and there aren't signs to tell you what's what so it's a lot of eyeballing and feeling. So just fyi.

Selection and prices are very good. Nothing is priced, which is a bit frustrating, and you literally have to either find an employee and ask the price for every fabric you might like, or have an employee following you around the store as you browse to tell you the price. That annoyance aside, the selection of apparel, upholstery and crafting materials is really good, and most of the prices for the full sized bolts of fabric is worth the visit. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.

    The choices are unlimited!

If I have a favorite fabric store, this would be it. We've been here several times and the projects I've stated (don't always finish) we're destined to be fabulous becoming of the fabric. I have purchased silk shantung and mad a beautiful skirt. I bought upholstery for recovering a loveseat that was a project way out of my league and I have purchased beautiful silk and embroidered fancy fabric that became a baptismal gown. The baptismal gown won 2nd place at the CA State Fair. So when I could find what I needed at my local Joann store, we headed here, about 40 minutes from home. I found 3 out of the 4 fabrics I need to make a Frodo Baggins costume. The easiest part of making the costume was finding the fabric. I love this store and couldn't imagine sewing without access to their inventory and the amazing prices they offer. Thank you!

Now I can ONLY review partially because I just went in to see if they had what I was looking for. That's to say the least, it's soooo much fabric in this store I didn't know where to start. I went in looking for rainbow fabric for an upcoming trip to Costa Rica and I'm having a swimsuit made. Maybe 5 minutes into looking around in a guy (may have been the owner) asked if I needed help, I told him I was just looking and he responded with "let me know I'll help you". I didn't ask the cost of anything but definitely will go back there to get what I was looking for. Some of the stuff I liked and will be going back to get I took pictures of so I can go back and find it. My oldest son who was with me even found some fabric he wants. Once I purchase fabric I'll do an update.

This place has two sides. I couldn't even capture everything in this photo.

I just got a beautiful shearling jacket (Marlboro Man style) looking for bone buttons to go with it. Any ideas?

They might sell buttons, but in my experience they don't sell much in terms of notions other than basic thread. I'd try Hi-Fashion Fabrics.

I have no idea what I am doing. I need guidance. Is this place helpful or will they blow me off for more practiced customer who knows what they want? I don't want to repeat my experience at Joanne's which was a waste of time.…

The staff are very helpful and polite. They try to answer all questions even when they're busy. Hopefully this helps.

I happened upon The Last Great one day and remembered my friend telling me about it. I went in and was looking all around and found some gorgeous blockprint/batik fabric from the 1970s. The owner told me it was out of her mother's collection, so I knew it was special. I left without buying anything that day, but couldn't stop thinking about that fabric. That's when you KNOW. So I returned a couple days later and bought some. If you're a textiles nut like me, you're gonna love this place! Go. Check it out. Get inspired!! Create!! THIRTEEN STARS!!

There was one gentleman there who I believe owns the shop. Super kind and a really fast worker. We walked in and were greeted by him as he worked with other customers. There feels like there are hundreds of fabrics to choose from. Different colors and textures and materials. We found a bunch of beautiful fabrics to use for an altar project. We weren't able to pick up everything we needed in one day because we needed input, but we were able to set some things off to the side and pick them up the next day. I'll definitely be visiting here again for the selection. It's kind of tight in there so it can be hard to move and the fabrics aren't the most orderly, but you can find what you're looking for if you have some time.

The receptionist/greeter was very helpful. And as I wondered around waiting for Jennifer to finish up with a customer; I was greeted, and offered assistance, by another employee. In addition, as I was making my purchase, a customer brought in her Serger for service. A technician came out looked at the machine, listened to what was causing the customer issues, saw the problem and fixed it on the spot! They have a wide variety of machines for all levels, notions and some fabric choices. I would highly recommend visiting and speaking to Meissner Sewing & Vacuum if you are looking to make a purchase.
