I'll start by saying Bill is the best. I took my 2 dining room chairs in for repair after sending pictures of them via text. Upon arriving there, Bill explained in detail, the root of the problem which was a "stress" issue (too much weight). He told me it would take 2-3 days because he had other repairs to get out and he was going out of town for a couple of days. I wasn't in a rush and happen to stop by the next day. He told me if I came back right before closing, he would finish them for me. ??? I came back and he stayed after closing to finish them for me. Bill, saved the day. Bill is a very nice guy. His team did a real nice job replacing the down feathers in our cushions w firm foam inserts. We took foam samples home and tried out two different firmness levels for the back and two levels for the seat. He then ordered the foam inserts, wrapped the foam in Dacron to prevent the foam from sticking to the upholstery fabric, wrapped the whole thing in the original upholstery and they were done. I can't say enough good things about Bill and the work he does! First of all, he came highly recommended by SacMod, which is how I found him. I have a midcentury lounge that needed new foam and the upholstery given some love. Bill responded to all my requests for quotes right away, and communicated with me clearly and quickly throughout the process. He even allowed me to come into the shop and test drive some different foam configurations to make sure I'd be as happy as possible with his work. Though he was slightly delayed by circumstances outside his control (supply chain problems) in finishing the chair, he did everything he could to make up for it. I don't want to go into specifics to save him the trouble of others expecting the same favors, but I'm confident he knows how to make and keep customers for life and if you give him the chance to win your business, he'll prove that to you as well. His fee was fair, he stuck to every promise he made and his results speak for themselves. My chair looks great, is super comfortable, and I'm going to have him do some more work on a couch next! This is a long over due review, but it MUST BE HEARD. My experience with B & T Upholstery or with the owner Bill was definitely a superb one. He is one of the most respectable people I've ever came across. Not only is his knowledge with fabrics and workmanship great, his personality, and the way he connects with you should also be taken note. I first called in to B & T and spoke with Bill. I voiced my concerns on my seat cushion tears made by my washing machine and he was gladly willingly to help. He just asked me to come on by and gave me a quote on the job cost. When I showed up to B & T i was welcomed in by Bill and he continued to investigate the rips and tears on the cover. He gave me his input on this material and knowledge on furniture stores selling the same quality of work. Just because you by something from Macy's you expect it to be great but that's not true as most retailer stores get them from the same wholesaler and slap different logos on them. For everyone just know where your piece is made and be extra careful. Anyways besides that we shared some stories and before you know it, it was perfectly done.
