Cute coffee spot. I've been here a few times and wanted to like it more, but either I'm ordering the wrong stuff or their coffee is lacking is taste/quality. There aren't any price tags on the food, which to me is kind of annoying but not a deal breaker. Service was ok, but I've had better at the other local coffee shops nearby. I was early for a nearby hair appointment so I took a short walk to find a coffee and come across this little gem. I was greeted with a smile by the friendly barista who directed me to their menu. I told her I was looking for a tasty coffee that was sugar free and low in fat. She offered to make me something custom that had a bit of mocha and sugar free vanilla. My coffee was perfect and just what I needed. Cute little place. The pastries and muffins looked amazing! But I'm trying to be good and stay away from sugar so I stomped my feet and walked away from them. Next time though!! I will definitely be back when I return for my next hair appointment! read more

Local coffee shop in Downtown Tracy. Great ambiance decorated with the Italian antiques. Plenty of Danish baked items and most of them are sold out that means they must be really good. Plenty of tea options from the Fatpigs tea company. All the bakery items are served hot. Very reasonable prices and not expensive as Starbucks or peets. They have enough staff and the service will be fast and the Baristas can make the coffee as you like. Quiches and chocolate croissants are really and they are must try. read more

The young gals working here need additional training on how to take orders and customer service. I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches. I asked the girl if they had jalapeño bagels and she said no. I wasn't offered any alternative options. She goes, we just have plain. I said fine. Then she goes, what kind of bread do you want? I said a bagel. And she goes, what kind? (When she had just told me they only had plain). She said they had plain, cheese, and everything. I asked for a cheese bagel on both. My sister inquired about the NY pastry item in the glass and asked what does it taste like? To which the girl rudely responded, I don't know. To which my sister told her, "well I thought you'd know, since you work here". I was given a plain bagel on both. When I went back to show it to another gal, she checked the system and the girl who took my order didn't specify the bagel type. Did she remove it?? The girl apologized but didn't offer to remake it or offer something else. The sandwich itself: -egg: a little square of egg, the size of a wheat thin cracker -cheese: little flat square of American cheese? Couldn't really tell -ham: generous Vietnamese iced coffee: it was good but later realized the girl charged me for the bigger size which I thought was their smallest size. This place is adorable. My boyfriend and I found ourselves in Tracy wanting to try something new, and World Coffee House was perfect. It appears to be family run. I called ahead to see if they could make me a honey lavender latte and they said they could! It's my favorite drink and few places in the Bay Area have it. Desiree took my order and made me the perfect iced honey lavender latte with oat milk. I thought about ordering it with extra lavender but I'm glad I didn't, the sweetness and balance of flavors was perfect as is. I'm excited to try a pastry the next time I go! read more

I just stopped by to get a regular coffee and a banana. The coffee is delicious and hot. I like the simplicity of this local coffee shop. There are people sitting outside and inside enjoying each other's company. It feels cozy and modern inside. This is a welcoming place. The service was nice and friendly. Coffee is very bitter and acidic. Not to my taste but not bad quality, simply not to my taste. Even their cold brew is acidic and bitter and not at all smooth. Their pastries are mostly prepackaged and they don't have a bathroom. However the atmosphere remodel makes it cozy, just don't stick around so long you need to use a bathroom I guess. Service is good and the outdoor seating is great. A place to have an ice tea and chat not study or linger. read more

Love this place and love the service even though the wait can be long sometimes but what can you expect during a pandemic with a mom and pop kind of neighborhood coffee place. I think too many might overlook this coffee house but I religiously have my Thai tea picked up here every Saturday as that is how I start my relaxing weekend. If you want pastries that have those here as well - the two pics in house were prior to the start of the pandemic and the cup at home is me taking my huge cup of Thai Tea with boba and splitting it for two. Coffee shops like this are the cornerstone of the community and I hope many more people decide to frequent them on days when they can vs chain coffee houses. read more

Love, love, love this place! First of all, right away I fell in love with how this place looked. It is so well decorated and has so many cute areas where you just want to take photos of everything. I've added some photos we took. I ordered a green matcha milk tea and it was tasty! I also got three macarons that were perfect and when I say perfect I mean it in every way: flavor, texture, softness with a very slight crunch. Next time I for sure want to try their coffee and lemon bar. The owners were there helping us and they were so sweet and helpful. I will definitely come back here soon! I have frequented this coffee shop and generally had positive experiences. However, the last few times I have been here have been very disappointing. Last week, I waited nearly 25 min for my sandwich and when I finally got it, it was wrong (missing lots of ingredients). Today, I ordered a large, dry cappuccino (which I have done in the past with no trouble). I received my cappuccino and it was very heavy (dry capps are very light and airy), so I asked if they could remake it. The older woman (I think the owner?) was extremely rude. She told me that a large capp couldn't be made as a dry capp and then proceeded to sarcastically ask me if I wanted 10, 15, 20 shots in my cappuccino? I felt so humiliated and frustrated. Instead of offering to give me my money back and/or remake the dry cappuccino, I was ridiculed. If you couldn't in fact make a large dry capp, then that should have been communicated when I went to place the order. I will not be returning. Would prefer to take my business across the street to Baristas. read more

I arrived and there was one person receiving their order. I was scanning the case because I heard their pastries were homemade. I quickly decided on the blueberry muffin to accommodate my latte. I was in the area doing some errands and decided to drop by and try them out. Got myself a tenzo latte, vanilla macaron, and a custom made sandwich. The drink tasted good and refreshing. The macaron was fresh and tasty, usually when I eat macarons they're usually hard but their macarons were nice and soft. The sandwiches are custom made so it's up to you what you want on them, but the ingredients they used for my sandwich were good and the sandwich was nicely cut in half. I recommend this place if anyone is nearby. read more

I wanted to like this place, and my expectations were honestly not high. The woman making lattes was using 2% milk instead of whole. I asked for whole milk and she obliged. She then proceeded to pour cold milk over espresso in the frothing pitcher and THEN briefly frothed the whole mixture for a couple seconds. I don't expect a fancy design but c'mon. Can't the milk be frothed properly and then poured over the espresso? Lastly, they have a good espresso machine, but they don't rinse or clean any of their equipment between drinks, including just mixing different milks into the same frothing pitcher without even a rinse. This is really basic stuff. I don't understand how a coffee shop can function without knowing how to make a proper latte. read more

went in with my family and ordered some food and coffee. Only ordered one spinach quiche and once we sat down and ended up getting our drinks they handed us a bacon quiche too and said oh here's an extra one..and then the lady came over and said oh he actually charged you for both quiches so here's the bacon one....okay? Not even an option to give us a refund just instantly gave us the quiche we actually didn't order. Then, as I was walking out I spilled my matcha all over the floor and of course I don't mind picking up my own messes but I let the workers know and all she did was hand me towels.....mind you there was no one else in the building so it's not like they were slammed and couldn't just help me out. She then asked if I needed more towels and I said yes and she then told me to just leave the towels on the floor they'll deal with it later..didn't even bother to ask if I wanted another one, nothing. I don't like giving bad reviews, but man I couldn't leave this be. Coffee here, not bad. Just don't order food from here. Just trust me or don't and waste your $ like I did. I didn't know whether to laugh or be angry lol. Only giving 2 stars for the nice young gentleman who was helpful ringing up my order. Everything after that, downhill: -I paid $15 for a breakfast sandwich and Vietnamese iced coffee. The young guy went home and the other workers got my order wrong. Asked to get it fixed. I got the saddest sandwich. Had to go and ask for condiments to make it tolerable. She looked shocked by my question lol. The coffee was good but it was not a Vietnamese iced coffee. Was a latte; not right but I tried to enjoy it nonetheless If my best friend wasn't with me, I wouldn't have been able to laugh off the very sad breakfast experience so easily. We came today for the first time and ended up waiting 30-35 minutes for our drink. Every person who came after us got their drinks. About almost 20 minutes in we mentioned how long we were waiting and that others after had been served and there was no emotion. No sense of urgency to get us our drinks, no apologies. They stated they lost our ticket and will reprint it. We ended waiting another 15 minutes and watched more and more patrons who came in after and being handed their coffees after just ordering at the counter. Finally someone walked it over to us, again with no apology. I wanted to give 1 star, but the coffee was very good and we're willing to try it again. A friend asked me if anywhere in Tracy had good matcha. I never had decent quality matcha in Tracy, but when I searched on Google it showed me World Coffee House. I came here once during covid but that's it. So was willing to give it a shot! We came here and both got matcha, my friend got a regular matcha with no sugar or milk and I got strawberry matcha. They liked their drink and I very much enjoyed mine! The barista was kind enough to come to our table to give us our drinks :) Also the cafe is a lot bigger than I last recall. Lots of space and an open layout. They have lots of baked goods too, next time I'll definitely try one! read more
