Cute mom and pop coffee shop. I'm addicted to their strawberry matcha and my coworker typically orders a milkway which strongly recommends.

Worst service I have ever had. I asked the owner what kind of toast they had for the breakfast sandwiches. He said "what" so clearly he couldn't hear me at first so I asked again. Then he got frustrated and said "what we have is on the menu" but the menu doesn't say what kind of toasts they have. Since I didn't want to be rude and ask again, when the young lady with the septum piercing walked behind him, I asked her quickly if they have gluten free toast. She said "no" and I said "okay thank you". Then before I could turn to make my coffee order, she says "If you can't be kind when talking to the owner you can just leave. He's not from here and doesn't always understand." First off, I wasn't rude or unkind. I was, however, trying to buy food and the owner was a little rude because he didn't understand what I was asking. Second, I have already had issues getting incorrect orders from this place and only continue to go because of the coffee is pretty good and it has a shorter line than Barista's. I was already having a rough week and it was completely unnecessary to treat me like that in front of other customers. There is absolutely no reason for it. I ended up leaving and going to Starbucks on Valpico for the egg bites. They were kind and I will just stick with them from now on. Don't waste your money on businesses that clearly don't respect their customers. read more

This place sucks!!!! Waited over 30 minutes for our drinks, one being a bottled orange juice. It wasn't crowded at all! The atmosphere is nice but the staff need to work on hospitality and getting orders out. No wonder the barista right down the street is packed and this coffee shop have crickets. In our world of big business coffee, sometimes it's good to remember the little guy. I really love this small, family business. I have always had great service and everything is always fresh. If you want to dawdle, you can and there is usually space to spread out. I particularly enjoy the flavored teas and espresso drinks. If you pop in early on a weekday, you can catch the old men's club ( my name, not theirs) for their daily coffee klatch. You can also take advantage of the free wifi. They have a decent sampling of pastries as well as sandwiches. Just be sure to be patient, speed is not their thing. read more

I had ordered a strawberry milk tea because it was I felt it was a healthier option for me since I'm diabetic. They replaced it with a Thai iced tea instead which is loaded with sugar and not a good option for me. The drink went to a coworker instead and said it was very good but, I ended up with nothing. I'm glad they gave me a replacement for not having what I wanted and I'm glad they tried so, I give them props for trying. However, I would've prefer my money back in this case. read more

One of my favorite coffee shops in town. The owners are super sweet and I can tell they put their all into this coffee shop. I absolutely adore the inside of the shop, such a nice atompsophere to sit inside and chat with your friends and family. Yes it does take some time to receive your coffee and goodies, but it's all worth it for some quality coffee and sandwiches. I was a regular, I liked the kona coffee, but the crappy service and crappy attitude has finally got to me. Now, I understand why there is a line at Baristas across the street. Took 15 minutes to get a cup coffee and a pastry and I was at the front of the line, the lady was having a spat with the guy behind the counter, totally rude, ignored everything I was saying then pulls the crap I cant hear. If you stopped and listened you would hear, and to top it off the pastry was old coffee was warm not hot. Came into town from the bay area and stumbled on this gem. Friendly service, the owner opened the restroom for me quickly after a long drive for us. We ordered egg bacon everything bagel sandwiches, one with avocado And drip coffee's. Nice they had oat milk for my dairy free sister. We did have to wait a awhile to receive our sandwiches, but it was definitely worth it the bagels were fresh toasty, the eggs were delicious, the bacon crispy! it was a really good breakfast sandwich that you could tell was made with love. read more

When went there to grab a bite to eat for breakfast. I gave it 2 because they messed up our order. The ladies working here are nice but they definitely need more training and the cook needs extra help too. They got our whole order wrong twice. I even paid for avocado and didn't get it and my Son didn't get it either. We also ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and got a plain bagel with cream cheese. It seems as though the ladies do not have good communication amongst themselves because they all looked like they didn't know who was making what. Overall, I probably will not come back. read more

It always feels homey when I come here with my fiance! Even though we live in SF and probably see them once in a while. They manage to know our orders and remember our faces. Two Thai teas both less ice and one less sweet ^__^ with an order of the banana nut bread. They always provide us with the biggest smiles, and I always come here to get my sweet treats. Please support this mom and pop shop, their service is impeccable and they are really nice. If you want authentic Thai tea, I would defiantly come here. I came here while I got my car worked on down the street. This is a lovely little cafe. I had the blended Carmelo and the coffee flavor was smooth and didnt taste burnt like other cafes I have been too. Their apple turnovers were also delightful. So I'm blown away with what I just saw! We went in to pick up our order that we placed over the phone, went to the order pick up spot and waited. While we waited we had a perfect line of sight of the kitchen area where they prepare the food/drinks, and noticed our egg salad sandwiches being prepared. As the lady was making our sandwiches, the utensil she was using to spread the egg salad on the bread, she wiped it clean with her finger then licked/sucked her finger clean and then to our disgust continued to make our sandwich.......pressing the tomato and then the top piece of bread with the same exact finger she just got done sucking on! It's unfair to me because when people come after me their order is done before mine. I ordered a turkey sandwich which came with chips. I thoroughly enjoyed the warm soft bread and the crispness of the lettuce. Mmm!! I also got a Thai bubble tea, my only caveat would be the Thai tea, it was good but not as good as some others that I've had... This has been my favorite place for years. I've tried most of the shops around town, but I'm my opinion nothing stands up to them. The owners are so sweet and will learn your order right away. I'm surprised it isn't very busy in the mornings when I go. Extra points from me for playing Christian music at times. Would be 5 stars but I'm really taken back and disappointed at their pricing for a vegetarian sandwich. The sandwich was literally 2 pieces of bread (no mayo or mustard) 4 slices of cucumber, 2 slices of tomatoe, a small handful of shredded lettuce and 3 thin pieces of avocado. It blows my mind to think they'd charge $8 for that. It comes with a bag of chips and soda but compared to the massive slab of meat and cheese in the meat one for about the same price it just doesn't make sense. read more
