They offered to rebook us on another day and time of our choosing. Well, I happened to be in the car when they called so accessing my schedule while I was on the phone, was not an easy task. The lady on the phone seemed SUPER annoyed with me the entire conversation. TWICE she asked if I would like to call her back. I'm sorry- are you THAT busy that you can't wait for two seconds while I pull up my calendar?!! I was so irritated by this lady's rude behavior that I almost said forget it. Refund us. We don't want to support you. You are being rude. However, my in laws were coming from out of town and I wanted them to experience the springs and the manatees. I had an entire week of activities planned for us so I just needed a second to check my calendar. If the lady who called was SOOOO BUSY, then why did she choose that time to call me? I will not get over this. Her customer service got the job done and we rescheduled but I will not forget how rude she was. On the day of our tour, we checked in at the little shack on the dock. Our tour guide was super funny! He was narrating our tour and making jokes. He was interacting with everyone on the boat. It was a cold day but we were able to see one large sunbathing gator and some hawks and other birds. The manatees were best seen from the shoreline walkway. We left a large tip for the tour guide and thanked him. He probably has no idea that the lady in the office is a real jerk.

Yes, you will see gators..they have lived here long before us and you are in water in florida so don't be surprised or scared. Manatees are out there and turtles. You can see some wildlife so that's great if that's what you're looking for. Make sure you drink and have plenty of water and cool yourself off as well. A kayaking spot like kings landing you can get out and cool off so you're not over heated. A relaxing wildlife tour with great guides and plenty to see…read moreWe drove up to the area specifically to take this wildlife boat tour, and it turned out to be well worth the trip. We booked through TripAdvisor the same day without any difficulty and joined a group of six other people to make up four couples. The tour currently departs from a location behind a private house with a small parking lot available for guests, although we were told they will be moving to a new location at the beginning of August. We met our captain, Jesse, and first mate, Evan, before boarding. Our departure was delayed by a few minutes because the first mate arrived late, and for a short time it looked like the trip might even be canceled. Fortunately, everything worked out, and we were soon on our way. We hadn't been on the water very long before we spotted our first dolphins, and from that point on the trip just kept getting better. Jesse and Evan did an excellent job explaining the history of the area, pointing out the local wildlife, oyster beds, and many of the sights along the river. We traveled south and were fortunate enough to see several dolphins and even a few manatees during the tour. The boat has seating all along both sides with a large open area in the middle, so it was easy to move around whenever dolphins or other wildlife appeared. During the trip, one of the passengers began suffering from heat exhaustion, and I was impressed with how calmly and professionally Jesse handled the situation while making sure everyone remained safe. Overall, this was a very relaxing and enjoyable tour. The river wasn't crowded, the scenery was beautiful, and there was an excellent chance to see several different types of wildlife. If you're looking for a peaceful boat ride with knowledgeable guides and a great opportunity to see dolphins, manatees, and other wildlife in their natural habitat, I would definitely recommend this tour. We were glad we made the drive just to experience it. Enjoy!

The AC was nice and cold. The boat dockage was prime, with a small boat ramp to put in. There is a hose and fish cleaning station. We met our unit neighbors who were very nice and fun to get to know. Brian is a professionals professional and mentor and a legend in the Lagoon. Adding the fish camp a few years ago is just a great benefit. The areas of the Lagoon he fishes is the most pristine and aside from the fishing a true paradise and picturesque experience hardly witnessed anywhere in the world. Brian's knowledge and caring for the Lagoon, personalty and character adds to the overall experience. I highly recommend Brian and look forward to my next trip this fall.

I went here on friday after new years, hoping to take a train ride just because I had the day off…read more First of all, there are no signs from the highway to get to the station, so I had to rely on my GPS to get to the location, and finally saw a sign on 17-92. Once I pulled up, the parking lot was pretty full, but I was able to find a spot. I got to the station 15 minutes before the next train departure (12:30), and according to Sunrail's website there are 4 ticket machines at each station, which is a lie. There are only 2 ticket machines at this station, and when I got there one of them was not operating, so there was a huge line to get tickets. By the time the train left, there were still a few people ahead of me in line. I understand the train runs on a schedule, but they should make sure you can get a ticket timely, either maintaining the machines better, or giving an option to get tickets online, or ahead of time elsewhere. Also, it'll be so much better once the trains runs more often, since I had to end up driving that day due to the next train not coming by until 3pm. I really want to use the train, but the schedules need to improve.

We ended up going down the street to McKs (walking distance) for a drink/food and came back to hang out on the cool brick front porch. The view of the marina was fantastic. My fiancé loved the food. It was super welcoming. Super homey. Definitely coming back.
