However, with those locations you also pay a premium. Planet Fitness is by far a premium facility. These locations are meant for getting in and getting out. You have to bring your own towels. They don't have staff that go around cleaning equipment like the premium locations, you have to put in that work as well, and that's done with a cleaning station that has a cleaner in a squirt bottle and paper towels. This location does have tanning and a message area. The tanning I believe they had 2 rooms. The message I think was one, not sure what all that entails, we haven't used it. These don't have pools, but they say they have a gender specific hot tubs in the locker rooms, I didn't look to verify. Wife went into her locker room area and said it was nice. I'll be curious to see. This is a place were you get what you pay for. If you want a budget gym for $10 a month, than this is the place were you get $10 a month worth of equipment and the work required to keep it decent falls on the user.

My biggest complaint is with the manager who regularly parks directly in front of the building in the fire lane regardless of how full the parking lot is. A manager who's too lazy to walk the handful of paces from the parking lot probably shouldn't be running a fitness center. The local fire marshal would likely have something to say about that. I've complained to staff directly and via electronic feedback about both issues without success; hopefully most other branches are better managed.

I do light lifting now and run. There's also no stretch area. I asked if they accept insurance discount which my insurance said they did and was told probably not because they stopped doing a lot of them. It's just too expensive and not enough equipment/not big enough for Granburys population. I'd hate to see it when it's busy. It was insanely clean though and great equipment (what they did have) so that's a plus. This gym would be good for serious lifters who come at odd times when it's not busy. Pictures online make the gym look way bigger online.
