They have a limited selection of books and I went in without really knowing what I was getting. Their concept of their book store as an immersivd sensory experience is something I hadn't heard of before and was really intrigued by. West was able to assist me and recommended a couple books that happened to be on my TBR. She was very friendly and helpful in guiding me with the experience. Their selection of sensory items were all cute and I ended up choosing a pair of socks, sparkling tea, and a cup. Depending on the genre of the book of your choosing, there is also a playlist that goes along with it. I think it's also awesome that they have a lounge space where they can host events. It's amazing to see the growth of this concept that started out as a subscription box, and now has a brick and mortar here in Orlando. Overall, I think it's a great concept that allows customers the chance to fully indulge and expand their reading experience beyond the pages.

Along with the books, they had a lot of stickers and curated items. Even though the store is small, you could definitely spend a long time looking in there. The girls working at the counter were super sweet. They are happy to answer any questions and give book recommendations. Side note: if you ask for change for the little print machine, they'll give it to you even though they are cashless. Overall, this place was super welcoming and engaging. Incredible selection of romance books, clearly marked by genre within sections of the store, and a great selection of bookish merch- stickers, kindle port charms, kindle covers, glass tumblers, tote bags and more. Prices are incredibly reasonable, especially if you happen to get a new release or an autographed copy of a book! Be sure to check out the local author area- this store has a greater selection than many I have seen! Be aware, parking in the lot directly in front of the store can be hard- but, street parking is an option, and depending on time of day there's a school about a block away with parking that several businesses nearby utilize after school- but, if visiting during the school year, be aware of after school activities in the lot, keep speed down, and follow the directional signs. East End market IS across the street, so if you visit there and make the short walk, you can take advantage of the entire neighborhood and all it has to offer!

I went in on a Saturday and found parking fine. The area was bustling! This book has A LOT. It was a little confusing to figure out where I wanted to go, but I found myself browsing. The mix of books is actually impressive. They have a lot of bookish merch too. I ended up purchasing a book, bookmark and book holder. The service and value were good. This place is a lot of fun and a great stop if you do want to make a day out of visiting the shops and checking out the markets.

We found some beautiful old Bibles, some classic literature, some really cool folklore books, great books on Florida, and my personal favorite, music books. Today I picked out two piano books filled with Christmas songs. Pricing here for these old books are a bit high in my opinion. The one book, 23 pages was priced at $7 and the other, 32 pages was priced at $10. I can usually find these for about $4-$5 each at thrift stores because they are not in high demand. I can't complain too much because when I asked the owner, Doug, for a discount he did give me $4 off, which was wonderful. There were a lot of other music books mostly for guitar that I could see spending a little more money on because they're original prices around $20 to $25. I also found a J.S. Bach Bible of music which intrigued me; however, there was no fingerings and it was missing indications of expression present in several of the books In my library, so I decided to hold off on purchasing that one. What's unique about this store when comparing to other book stores in the area is at this store makes binding repairs and performs leather work, which is a plus. I'm sad to say that this was my first time here today. I had no idea that Doug has been running the store for 14 years now. Regardless, I will definitely return next time I'm shopping in the area.

The owner is great guy - knowledgeable, friendly, and pleasant - and he rightfully has pride about his stuff. He will leave you alone until you pay probably, or initiate conversation. The place is very organized - lots of common sense labelling. If you're terrified of those messy book stores with stacks on the floor that requires rummaging, this place is the opposite of that. Wide variety of topics for such a small spot. I only wish it was bigger! Very well-done though.

They have a great little cafe, and all of the genres of books are organized so they are easy to find. They offer some great classics such as Steinbeck, Mark Twain, Edgar Allen Poe, Shakespeare, the Brothers Grimm, and many more in beautifully designed hard covers for $10, which is hard to pass up. If you are a music lover like me, they do have a decent selection of Vinal's and CD's available for purchase plus they have a whole section of books dedicated to music, biographies about musicians, and some popular sheet music books available for piano and guitar. They could definitely improve the sheet music section but overall, it's not terrible. There are some great stationary items here for purchase that are of higher quality than you might find at the cheap-o dollar store if you are looking for something special and unique. I also love their notebooks and journals that have a soft leather covering, very cool. If you shop here often, they also have memberships available where you can save on your next purchase, comparative to something Barnes and Noble offers. I recommend stopping in if you're in the Oviedo Mall, it's a great book store with a lot to offer.

Fantastic prices can be found inside as well as a great selection. Toys and games are also Included in the inventory. I've been visiting this location for literally years and they keep the friendly service available not only at checkout but also at the coffee shop attached. If they don't have a book they can try to order it for you. But they also have book clubs and special events to enjoy every month. I don't think I have EVER walked out of this store without buying a book. There is always a good deal in there somewhere!

Found one book I'm excited to read (it's a sequel to another Indie published book I've already read and I was excited to find the sequel!) and some fun bookish items. One star knocked off for the absolutely awful experience I had with one of the Goblin Studios workers outside..... parking was being charged for the evening soccer game and when I said I wasn't paying, wasn't going to the game, and tried to go inside again, he started yelling at me, and stood in front of my car attempting to demand payment when I tried to leave. Another car showed up and he went to charge THEM for the game (they were in Orlando City gear...) I went around him and left. I'll be back when the soccer season is over, maybe, for Story Room and the other businesses, but this really put me off trying to visit again soon.

I've popped in here a few times, most recently to collect a stamp for the central Florida book passport. Though a quaint size, they have great book selections, blind dates with a book and great merchandise! Service is always very friendly and even the customers that are in there are friendly and conversational because we are fueled by a love of books! They also host events that I haven't been able to make it to but would like to in the future. I signed up for their mailing list to find out when there will be an event I can attend. I love that this is a spot where you can pop in grab a book, then go to the cafe and get a coffee followed by sitting down and reading for a bit should you choose. Will definitely be back!
