Been shopping at World Markets for years. So I bought some stools at the 5125 Richmond Ave Houston, TX store. When I came around to put them together one of chair's leg were shorter then all the others, making not balance and unstable. This was a manufacturer defect. When I took it back to the store and they told me that they couldn't do any because they no longer carry the stools and that I have to contact corporate office. They told me to contact Ashleigh Stuart, from World Market, Richmond Ave. Houston but she never got back to me. Messaged them on here many times also...they don't care about their customers. Very disappointed by the complete lack of customer service here. Will not be shopping here again. read more

I absolutely love this store and have been shopping at World Markets for years. However, I had a very interesting experience there today. WM advertises 20% off all sparkling wines ending today. I buy Veuve Cliquot there periodically so I know the regular price which was posted below the bottles ($45.99). At the checkout it rang $54.99 minus 20% which took me right back to the "normal" regular price. I complained and the manager came over and adjusted the regular price back to $45.99 but only because "we didn't change the price tag quick enough which is a good thing for you." They also did not give me my World Market Explorer discount which was on the original receipt after I complained. I am very very disappointed in World Market. I don't know if this practice is at Willowbrook only but if this is standard practice for any/all WM I will not purchase sale wines there again. This is Fraud with a capital F. read more

Love world market but this is the worst service ever at this location in particular. Made an online furniture order for in store pickup. Called to confirm that it was ready and a gentleman in the back confirmed that he would have it ready. Upon arrival three ladies including Susan (a manager?) were reluctant to help. They didn't even ask for my confirmation number or attempt to go in the back and check on the order. They said it wasn't ready and I would receive another email. I told them it had already been confirmed as ready. They refused to double check or look it up by confirmation number....I asked if they could look into it for me and they just kept saying no. Cancelling the order and definitely never using this location again. read more
