I purchased a couch from Ashley Furniture Industries in December 2024, and it was delivered on 2/13/2026. Shortly after delivery, the couch began failing. The recliner does not operate correctly, works unevenly, and the cushion has already sunk in--making it uncomfortable and look worn almost immediately. I have had two technician visits, and the issue is still not resolved. I've spent a significant amount of time communicating with customer service, but nothing has been fixed--just repeated promises and more scheduling. At this point, I am simply asking for a replacement or refund. I will update this review if the company makes this right. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this Ashley Furniture store. As we walked in, an employee named STEVEN greeted us and asked if we were looking for something. I told him we were looking for a dining table with a glossy top. He replied, "Not here."We said that was fine and that we would still look around because we were also interested in sofas. Steven then said, "Why are y'all going to walk around if we don't have what you're looking for?" On October 15, I finally received an email from customer service not a courtesy call that they were going to replace the table. By the way, they told me I could not get a refund which was not true and not stated in their contract. STAY AWAY...... first time I Purchased Ashley furniture ... the in store search went fine, and the salesperson was attentive. I purchased the sofas in March and purchased the warranty due to all the mechanical recliners. (Just as much as a recliner) Received the sofas in May (wasn't an issue) visually and checking after set up looked fine. Came home later that day and sat on recliner. The port was broken and my back is at a slant (both issues weren't visible at set up) Here's where the issue began.... You CANNOT GET a hold of a person... everything is done virtually and online. Had to make a few tickets because it will time you out or upload specific photos etc. Well I completed a full ticket and got a notification that a representative will phone in 48 hours. NO CALL was ever received but the port replacement came in the mail. Paper said call to set up a tech call.... I called and it was automated again... I don't know how but after hours and all kinds of numbers I got a hold of a representative. She said the ticket was closed and helped me out... fast forward tech never came. I called someone again and the representative Hannah was very apologetic and said they closed it out due to incomplete file... (their error) After 45 mins on call she reopened ticket and we set another date for June 27 and the technician will also fix the back.... Day before still no text confirmations... I emailed Hannah again and she asked who told me the technician was coming on the 27.... I was furious and responded with YOU. Again she said they ordered more parts to assure the problem is fixed and cancer the home appointment..... no further response, no communication, and still no damn technician. I search long and hard for a nice couch. I really wanted went to Ashley Furniture, the salesman was helpful. Set an a lot of couches wanted this one. It was delivered my neighbor received it while I was working. There is no apparent damage. The fabric is very scratchy. I've tried to live with it. I finally complained when I noticed all these other faults and it has been months of calling sending pictures. I think I feel like I will go away but I'm not the customer service has created a nightmare for me. Today I'm supposed to have a technician come, so I takeoff work don't get paid and half the day is gone and no one's even called me. This is a joke, right? We chose two dining sets and purchased them as they were shown in the show room, one round table and one rectangular table. On initial delivery we received 2 round sets, we looked back on the receipt and items were sold incorrectly. Went to the store and spoke to a manager, was asked to give the store a second chance and items were correct with no additional cost added. (Rectangular table was more expensive than round) On delivery day, the rectangular table was uneven and not sitting correctly. Delivery guy called it in and made a note, they were in a hurry to leave. After I saw 5 out of the 12 chairs delivered were missing paint on certain spots on the legs. Called customer service and went into the store to show pictures. Was told all items are no exchanges, no refunds. Manager Joce said she was going to try to exchange the items, all she did was send an email and never got back to us. That day she was in a hurry and frustrated at my husband. She told him she had already stayed 40 mins past her shift to help us. Now we have to get all items fixed under the warranty. They gave me a 3 week out appointment for a tech to come in. Last night I received a message they had an opening for today, I agreed to take it. I waited today, after no one showed I was told that they don't service my area today and it was canceled. I wish I could give a 0 star but it has been a very poor service from Ashley. I ordered a dining table from their store in Tomball Parkway. Firstly, the delivery was late. Later the delivery guys found out that the warehouse sent incorrect parts due to which they could not assemble the table. They left all the parts (unassembled) and told us that the replacement part would be delivered in next 2 days. However something did not sound right to me, so I called the sale representative who helped us with the table in the store, and he was not helpful at all. He said there is nothing he could do and I needed to call the customer service. The customer service was not aware of this situation at all and told me that they would now order the replacement part that would take 7 to 10 days ( I called the customer service again the same day only to find out that the part would not be available until November). On asking if I would at least receive an email confirmation about what we just spoke about, the guy on call was rude and told me that there is nothing he can do and I should trust him with what ever information he provides. So here I am. I have guests coming in 2 days and I have no idea if I will ever receive all the parts for my dining table. I am never going back to Ashley for my furniture. I went into the store during lunchtime to see if they had what my wife was looking for and after the salesman approached with the whole rundown, I told him I would be back with my 7-months pregnant wife. We went in the 06/08/2022 and before purchasing the couch, were told that we could expect the "white glove" delivery since we added it to our order for delivery on 06/28/2022, since it was in stock. Fast forward now to 7/24/2022, wife now over 8-months pregnant, WE HAVE YET TO RECEIVE ANYTHING. I go into the store every single week to get an update and every week I keep being told by management that the delivery date has been pushed back starting from 6/28, 7/5, 7/12, 7/26 and now 8/5!!! 3 week wait has turn into 7 weeks!!! If I could give zero stars, I would. In April of 2021, after much shopping around, I purchased a sofa from Ashley for my new house. Paid cash for it. The salesperson told me that delivery would be in 4 weeks and I would get a phone call prior to that confirming delivery time, etc. Well, I got nothing and the delivery date comes and goes. So I called the store, go through their automated system and am told that delivery is now 16 weeks!! I decide to go back to the store and cancel the order. So I drive 65 miles (because by now, I've moved to my new home literally an hour away from the store) and go into the store. I go to the service desk and tell them I want to cancel my order. Suddenly, low and behold they've got a sofa to deliver to me THAT WEEK!!! Despite the niggling voice in my head, (which I should have listened to), I decided to accept delivery of the sofa. The sofa is delivered exactly as promised, the delivery guys are professional, etc. We are happy with the new sofa. Fast forward to early April 2022. One evening my husband sits down on said sofa and we hear a huge cracking/tearing noise. Immediately the seat area starts to sag. The fabric base that the sofa seat cushions sit on has torn where it wraps around a support wire. So, on April 7 I initiate a service warranty claim. Am told a service tech will contact me. On April 28, I call back, because I've heard nothing. They tell me that they are waiting for parts to ship to me and that when I receive them, I should call back to schedule a technician. May 13 the parts arrive, but they're not even the right parts. They sent me a new seat cushion, a seat cushion cover and some metal bar. I call the service desk again. Explain everything again. Kevin (the service desk person), can't schedule a service call because he tells me the system says the parts haven't arrived (when I'm sitting there staring at them in my house). Finally tells me that a service technician will call me on Monday, May 16. May 16 comes and goes, no call. Call this morning (May 17) and immediately ask to talk to a supervisor. I end up talking to Valerie, who then proceeds to lie and tell me that they tried to call me on May 4. I tell her no, my phone log shows no calls from them on May 4th. After more discussion, she tells me the service desk will call me tomorrow (May 18) and that my account has been classified high priority. So, that's where we are. I'm sitting in a hole in my sofa and vague promises of it getting repaired. Really what I want is my money back so I can go buy a well built, American made sofa that won't fall apart in less than a year. Take my advice, don't set foot in their doors. read more

I ordered a bedroom set and a couch day after thanksgiving (which I paid in full). The delivery dates ended up being December 26th for all but the bed rails and the dresser. I confirmed the delivery and the day arrives and all I received was 1 nightstand (the other was apparently broken), the chest, and the couch. No headboard, footboard, second night stand. I understand not bringing me a broken nightstand, but apparently they will not bring the headboard or footboard without the rails.... but they will bring a mirror without a dresser? Anyways, it was not Ashley's HomeStore that let me know this, it was the delivery driver. So here we are now, February 1st and still no furniture. Customer service has been the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. 1. They have never reached out to me to let me know that my furniture was going to be late (it's been pushed about 5 times now). I ALWAYS have to reach out to them and the dates keep changing. 2. They will end chat/hang up on you if you start asking questions (such as why does it keep getting pushed). 3. They never say the same things. I've been told I can get partial deliveries (which is what I requested when I bought them) but I have also been told that 4 days after I called they "changed the policy". We went in to purchase a sectional. We found one but we're unsure of the size and had decided to go home and measure then come back and buy. The salesmen "sold" us on a deal where we could get a sale price if we bought it and if we got home and it did t fit I could simply call him and he would cancel the order. We got home and immediately measured and realized it was in fact too big so I called and he didn't answer. This led to several days with no response. We saw an associate (STEVE) sitting by the front and he chose not to greet us, okay that's fine. But, magically, not even sixty seconds past after our arrival, a Caucasian family walks in and this same associate (STEVE), got up quickly to greet them and ask if they needed assistance. I was highly appalled to see such blatant racism! He even walked by and had the audacity to roll his eyes as if I offended him when I'm the customer! I will most definitely be contacting the Better Business Bureau and corporate customer service to file a report. Well delivery came and our rails to the bed were broken a huge scratch across the footboard and on one of the pillars on the head bored you can see it was cracked and looked like someone used a sharpie to cover it up. I wished we would have never came across this store it was the last of many we stopped at on Sunday February 16,2020 we were greeted by Michael the Sales Manager as he was pleased with himself. We were even warmed by it, we began to explain what we were looking for and together we all picked out a beautiful king bedroom set with a rustic feel! We paid cash for our new set with a delivery date of 2/19/2020. The day it came was not at all what we had anticipated, the delivery people showed up in a old beat up third party delivery truck Ashley's Furniture logo was nowhere on the truck. The first piece of furniture that came up stairs was the headboard and it was broke, my husband said well that's ok because we get it stuff happens right? Well then the nightstand was broke and the dresser it was then we realized how cheap the furniture was made! Next we refused the whole set and asked how long it would be until we could get the same set delivered; customer service was a joke they had no compassion and told us we would need to wait 24 to 48 hours for them to call and set up delivery, we should have been priority considering they delivered our stuff broken boy were we wrong we were rescheduled a whole week later!! We ended up cancelling the order and the surprises just kept coming, they were going to refund us but them still keeping 10% and the delivery fee! I'm baffled at this point I could understand if we ordered and decided we didnt like how it looked in our home! But it was all broken. Second delivery was scheduled for 03/02/22 and the couch was again not delivered. It was damaged when it was being retrieved. I got a call that time. Silly me, scheduled it for a third time on 03/04/22 and you guessed it, another issue. It was damaged again when being retrieved. I requested to cancel the order and to process a refund. I purchased a couch elsewhere and it was delivered on 03/06/22 with no issue. 03/14/22 after seeing no refund, I inquire about the status. The cancellation was never submitted. This time a refund was issued on 03/16/22 but nor for the full amount. I inquire again and was told I need to physically go into the store to get the rest of the refund. I enter the store on 03/16/22 and am given a heap of "that's the system and it's the process and we don't have control of that side of the refund" nonsense excuses. It's 03/27/22 and I am still awaiting that refund and was just told I need to return to the store to find out the status of the refund. At this point, it's clear this is nothing more but a SCAM. We purchased a floor model that was in near perfect condition. Upon pick up (the next day) the item had been wrapped in clear wrap for transport- which was fine however it was strategically wrapped to cover the damage THEY did "prepping" it. We have pictures from the day we bought it and after we unwrapped it. Elliot the manager has blamed us and said that it happened when we installed the leaf.. weird since we never installed the leaf. This has been a horrible experience and I will never do business with them again. They need to figure out how to handle distribution because too many other companies are way ahead of the game. The miscommunication between the customer service agents over the phone and the actual people in the store is ridiculous. I opened my order at the end of October, hoping that was more than enough time for my move-in date of January 8th. I called them on several occasions just wanting confirmation that my order would be available on January 8th. They would ask me for my address, and they would inform me that it would be wrong every time, so I regive them my address (130th time), trying to be positive because, well, I want my beautiful furniture. I was going back and forth communicating with them for two months straight. I seriously need to print my phone logs from the past two months and highlight how many times I've been in contact with Ashley Furniture. I received the 150th text that I had items ready for delivery. I was shocked because I had already received delivery messages and was told all my other furniture was on back order to FEB 18th. So I'm guessing that means I get more furniture that can be delivered on January 8th, so I was excited. They asked me for my address to verify over the phone, and I gave it to them again (150th) time, and they said your address is incorrect. I was like, what are you serious? I just spoke with you all two days ago and changed it again. He says no problem, ma'am, and we can switch now, so Again at this point, I just really wanted my furniture, so I gave it to him. We got off the phone, and I was like, let me call again to verify addresses to be safe. Again the same issue. So, finally, I received a call from this actual store I opened my order at, and they informed me that " I can't change my address over the phone due to security issues." I was like are you kidding me? This is two days before my move-in date, and you are just now telling me, after two months of going back and forth communicating over the address, etc., that I have to come to the store change my address. Well, I want to know what we're the people doing over the phone the whole time when they said they would change my address. I was like, ok, I'll be in the store in about two hours. I went to the store, and we changed the address, and I had her email me the updated tickets with the updated addresses. Again, guys, this is two days before my move-in, and there was some stuff wrong with my order again. So I spoke with the manager he said he would take off the delivery fee, which he didn't. But anyway, we concluded that day. January 8th comes, and the delivery team informed me that he has my headboard and footboard, but noooo queen rails with slats!! I got the other pieces of furniture, though, thank goodness. I immediately called the store, and the lady said that there on back order to February 18th! I was like, what are you kidding me!!!!!!!! what happen to them? She said they could have broken or something and said we could get you some loaner rails. In the meantime, I'll give you a callback, and she never called back! So two days later, I was like, well, imma be positive and sleep with my mattress on the floor and wait till the slats and rails come. Then I discovered how stupid I would be to wait a month when the company has said they would deliver stuff at this date and never do!!! So, I'm calling the store now to get some loaner rails in the meantime. Wish me luck and most importantly, if you don't mind getting the runaround, then, by all means, buy from Ashley Furniture!!! Guys, there are better places out there to get furniture. Check reviews. Ashley Furniture has beautiful furniture I must admit but the hassle with getting and its sucks how they just ghost you after they get your money. Update 1/28 , The delivery people came with the wrong queen rails. I CALLED THE STORE AND THE LADY DIDNT EVEN CARE. My queen raills and roll slats are on backorder to February 22. I opened the order at the end of october 2021. My sleeper couch and Chester dresser are on backorder till March 8th. read more

Update: Ashley Homestore reached out and we were able to come to a fair resolution. I will continue to shop at Ashley Homestore and want to thank them for their excellent service in resolving this issue. We have purchased furniture from here the past several years. In 2017 we purchased a leather sectional and a protection warranty. Today, I tried to file a claim only to find out the needed repair is not covered. We paid $700 for this warranty and the sales rep ensured us that rips/tears would be covered. In fact he said, "call them as many times as you want, it's covered." I went to the store today and spoke with Sam, the sales manager. He referred me to the customer care # as there is nothing he can do. He said it's written in the warranty (specifics not provided at time of purchase). Customer care said they were not sure why he referred me to them, he's the one that can do something. It's my fault for not asking more questions and reading warranty in print. But, I feel very deceived by Ashley Furniture. Don't get suckered like read more
